Quick answer
Alpha Futures distinguishes reasonable dollar-cost averaging from excessive order stacking that exploits simulated execution. Multiple entries are not automatically prohibited, but they must remain within account limits and the firm's conduct policy. DCA permission does not authorize a bot or an unlimited recovery sequence.
Coupon code: COMPARE. PFA lists up to 50% off Alpha Futures account purchase fees. See the Alpha Futures coupon page.

What the official DCA wording allows
The prohibited-practices guide says reasonable DCA is not prohibited. It prohibits order book spamming, including excessive stacking, and simultaneous multiple limit orders at one price intended to manipulate fills.
The same policy rejects all-or-nothing trading, account rolling and full automation. It allows a signal or indicator to assist a trader who personally places, monitors and manages the trade.
The policy does not publish a universal numerical definition of reasonable DCA. An article should therefore not invent a maximum number of averaging entries or describe an arbitrary entry count as approval.
Recalculate combined position size after every fill
Suppose an invented long position starts with one contract at 5,100. A second contract fills at 5,090.
| Position component | Quantity | Entry price |
|---|---|---|
| First fill | 1 | 5,100 |
| Second fill | 1 | 5,090 |
| Combined position | 2 | Average 5,095 |
The average entry improved by five points compared with the first fill. The quantity also doubled.
If the original planning boundary was 5,080, the first contract's distance was 20 points. The combined position has 15 points per contract, or 30 contract-points in total. Before costs, that is 50% more aggregate point exposure than the original single-contract position.
This illustrates accounting, not a recommended entry or a firm-approved strategy. Convert contract-points using the selected contract's actual multiplier when preparing a dollar record.
Pending additions belong in the exposure record
A working order can increase size later. A plan that counts only current fills may understate the position that can exist if several resting orders execute in a fast move.
Record current position, pending additions, intended maximum quantity and the applicable account cap. Reconcile the actual filled position after each event.
The important input is the entire resulting exposure. A favorable average entry does not reduce an account's contract limit or erase earlier session losses.
If an order is rejected, do not assume every linked order has the same status. Read the platform's actual order and position records before submitting an additional instruction.
DCA and automated recovery are separate questions
A manual averaging decision and a continuously operating averaging bot have different conduct implications. The official automation policy requires personal trade control; a discount code does not create an exception.
A trading record should explain why each added entry occurred, what changed in size and how the whole position was managed. That is more informative than labeling every order as DCA after the fact.
Avoid treating a fresh account purchase as the next step in an all-or-nothing sequence. The firm's account-rolling policy addresses repeated maximum-leverage attempts, not just the accounting of one average entry.
Initial fee after the maximum COMPARE discount
The official Standard page lists the $50K evaluation at $129 per month. Using PFA's listed maximum rate:
| Account | Regular monthly base fee | Code | Discount scenario | Initial base fee in this scenario |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard $50K evaluation | $129.00 | COMPARE | 50%, when that rate applies | $64.50 |
The table is the maximum-discount calculation. It does not establish the rate on every account or reduce future renewals and resets automatically.
Select the account, enter COMPARE and apply the account-specific offer before payment.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Its prohibited-practices guide states that reasonable DCA is not prohibited, while excessive order stacking and order book spamming are not tolerated. Contract and loss limits still apply.
The official guide prohibits bots and full automated trading. It permits a semi-automated signal workflow only when the trader manually places, monitors and manages the trade.
The cited guide does not define a universal number. A numerical allowance should not be invented from its reference to reasonable DCA.
PFA lists COMPARE for up to 50% off account purchase fees. The maximum rate is account-specific, and later subscription or reset costs are separate.
