Alpha Futures News Order Window + Coupon Code COMPARE

Alpha Futures allows news trading during evaluations, but Standard, Zero and Direct Qualified accounts prohibit order execution during the two minutes before and after relevant high-impact news. Holding a position and executing an order are not the same action.

Code: COMPARE

Verified on 12 October 2026. Verified code: COMPARE.

Verified code: COMPARE offers up to 50% off eligible Alpha Futures account purchase fees. The maximum is account-dependent and does not change news restrictions. Official rules checked: 6 October 2026.

This guide turns the news policy into a practical order-management checklist. Use the Alpha Futures review and current COMPARE offer for broader account comparisons.

Which stage are you trading?

The official news policy distinguishes evaluations, Advanced Qualified accounts, and the restricted Qualified models. Evaluations have no news restriction under that policy. Advanced Qualified also has no news window, while prohibited-practice rules still apply.

For Standard, Zero and Direct Qualified accounts, the policy permits holding through an event but bars executions within the two-minute period on either side. It uses relevant red-folder Forex Factory events; for speeches, the window applies around the listed start, not the whole speech.

Account stagePublished news-window treatment
EvaluationNo news restriction under this policy
Advanced QualifiedNo news restriction; conduct rules remain
Standard QualifiedNo execution within the restricted four-minute window
Zero QualifiedSame execution window
Direct QualifiedSame execution window

A platform label that simply says news trading allowed cannot convey those distinctions. Check the account stage before reusing an order template from an evaluation.

Build the event window before opening orders

If a relevant event is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. in the calendar's selected timezone, the restricted interval runs from 8:28 to 8:32. This is an illustrative clock calculation, not today's release schedule.

Record the calendar timezone and the platform timezone separately. A correct event time in the wrong clock is still operationally wrong. When using a calendar that automatically adjusts to the device, verify the displayed timezone rather than relying on last month's screenshot.

For multiple releases close together, mark all relevant intervals. Two overlapping windows should be treated as one continuous operational block in your preparation notes. Do not try to create a trading opportunity from a few seconds between poorly synchronized clocks.

Existing positions require order awareness

Permission to hold does not mean all related executions become permitted. Pending entries, exits and protective orders can execute without a fresh manual click. The policy speaks about execution, so review the complete order set rather than only the position list.

This does not justify removing protective risk controls simply to keep a trade open. A trader who cannot safely manage the position within both the event rule and the loss rules may need to reduce exposure before the restricted period. This is risk-planning guidance, not a signal to trade a news event.

A useful pre-event check asks: which orders are working, which accounts receive copied orders, and whether an automated exit could trigger. Keep the answer specific to the restricted Qualified account instead of assuming all accounts in a copier group have identical permissions.

A timeline example

Relative timePlanning question
Before the two-minute windowAre account stage, event relevance and clocks confirmed?
At the start of the windowAre there orders that could execute unexpectedly?
During the windowCan the plan remain within both execution and risk rules?
After the windowHas the restricted period clearly ended on the correct clock?
After the sessionDoes the order log match the intended actions?

This is an editorial control sheet. It does not add a new firm rule or promise a grace period at the boundaries. Leave practical operational margin rather than depending on an exact millisecond interpretation.

Consequences are more than a lost trade

The official news policy describes removal of the affected trade's profit and denial of the payout request. It treats the first violation as a warning that allows the account to remain, with subsequent violations leading to breach.

A warning is not a planned allowance. It should not be included in a trading strategy as a cost of doing business. The payout policy also points traders back to news and prohibited-practice rules, so meeting a payout profit condition does not excuse an event-window violation.

Keep the execution timestamp, instrument and relevant event together if asking support about a disputed trade. A screenshot of profit alone cannot establish when the order executed.

Standard purchase fees and conditional maximum savings

The official Standard product page publishes the regular monthly evaluation prices below.

Renewal discounts, resets, optional charges and tax are not established by these examples. Standard has a monthly commitment; no funded activation fee does not mean no continuing subscription.
