AquaFutures Session Cutoff Guide + Coupon Code COMPARE
Separate AquaFutures’ 4:10 p.m. Eastern cutoff from instrument hours, holidays and daylight-saving conversions, plus current COMPARE 25% fee examples.

AquaFutures’ general firm cutoff can arrive before an instrument’s exchange close. Use the earlier applicable restriction, then confirm holidays and the platform’s time zone. The published schedule lists a 4:10 p.m. Eastern close and 6 p.m. Eastern reopening; its UTC and regional conversions should not be treated as permanent year-round offsets.

Begin with the firm session
The current hours page says open positions automatically close at the firm’s session end and that this automatic closure alone is not a breach. It also notes holiday exceptions and seasonal local-time changes.
That does not promise an exit price or remove the financial effect of a losing close. A trader should still know when exposure will end. Automatic closure is a backstop described by the firm, not a substitute for checking the final execution and resulting account balance.
An instrument can have a shorter session
The instrument list distinguishes general exchange schedules from AquaFutures’ own 5 p.m.–3:10 p.m. Central trading window. Products with shorter sessions cannot be assumed tradable merely because the firm session is open.
Build a schedule row for each instrument actually used. Include the full contract symbol, exchange schedule, firm cutoff, any holiday exception and the local display time. The effective opportunity to trade exists only when both the instrument and the firm permit it.
| Check | Example question |
|---|---|
| Instrument session | Is this specific futures contract open now? |
| Firm cutoff | Will Aqua close exposure before the exchange closes? |
| Holiday notice | Is an early close in effect today? |
| Platform clock | Is this timestamp Eastern, Central, UTC or local? |
| Contract month | Am I looking at the active tradable contract? |
Use this as an operational checklist, not a universal exchange timetable. Do not transfer an index future’s nearly full-day schedule to every agricultural or livestock contract.
Avoid a fixed UTC reminder through a clock change
The hours page includes both UTC and regional examples. Some examples do not convert consistently under every seasonal offset. Preserve the named market time zone, such as America/New_York, in a calendar rather than hard-coding one UTC conversion for the whole year.
For illustration, a 4:10 p.m. New York time converts differently when New York changes between daylight and standard time. Other countries may change clocks on different weekends or not at all. Recheck the actual dashboard schedule and latest firm notice around those dates; do not infer the coming winter schedule solely from a summer UTC example.
A practical calendar event can say “check session cutoff” rather than “trade closes at my fixed local time.” Add the instrument and account model to the note. An earlier personal warning gives time to inspect orders and resolve a connection issue before the boundary.
Diagnose a rejected order before retrying
The official rejected-trade guide identifies market hours, holidays, contract limits, permissions and connection status as different possible causes. Read the actual rejection reason first. A market closure will not be fixed by repeatedly sending the same order.
Save the account number, instrument, exact timestamp and screenshot of the rejection when seeking support. Keep the screenshot private and avoid sharing passwords, tokens or payment details. If the account is in a restricted or liquidation state, resolve that state instead of assuming the clock is the only issue.
Close the loop after the session
After a planned or automatic close, verify that the position is flat and inspect working orders. Record the realized result and check the updated dashboard. Do not assume a flat chart on one device confirms every linked account or copier follower is flat.
The Daily account rules separately define daily-loss and overall-drawdown behavior. A session closure described as non-breaching does not waive those account limits. Keep time-based closure, daily-loss pause and maximum-loss breach as distinct events in a trading journal.

Before paying
Select the exact plan, size, platform and risk options on the official site. Enter COMPARE before payment and compare the accepted reduction with the correct row. If the order differs, ask the firm to explain that configuration before buying. Keep the receipt and the rules issued for the account. FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Not by itself. The firm publishes an earlier general cutoff, and an individual instrument or holiday can shorten availability further.
The hours page says that automatic closure at the firm session end alone is not a rule violation. Resulting losses and other account limits still matter.
Do not assume that. Named U.S. market times and local daylight-saving changes can alter UTC or local conversions. Confirm the current schedule.
