Atlas Forex 2-Step uses different day-count tests in evaluation and funded trading: current help requires three trading days in each phase, then five qualifying profitable days per funded payout cycle. Passing the first target does not carry its profit or days into a fresh second-phase account.
Checked against official sources: 6 October 2026. The purpose of this guide is a phase-by-phase ledger. It covers regular 2-Step, not 2-Step Pro, Access or a purchased minimum-day upgrade.
Purchase fees and coupon calculation
| Plan | Account size | Regular fee USD | Code | Discount | Savings USD | Final base fee USD |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2-Step | $10,000 | $79.00 | COMPARE | 50% | $39.50 | $39.50 |
| 2-Step | $25,000 | $160.00 | COMPARE | 50% | $80.00 | $80.00 |
| 2-Step | $50,000 | $240.00 | COMPARE | 50% | $120.00 | $120.00 |
Apply 50% once to the regular base fee. Optional upgrades, resets, taxes and payment charges are separate; no stacking or discount on an extra is assumed. See the current coupon terms.
Prices are the regular base fees in the official Forex selector and its pricing data. The $25K calculation is $160 less $80, leaving $80. A coupon changes the fee, not how a trading day is counted.
Start a new ledger at each phase
The 2-Step program guide publishes targets of 8% and 5%. Phase two starts from a fresh balance of the same size after phase one passes. On a $25,000 example, the phase-one balance target is $27,000; phase two's is $26,250. It is not $28,250, and the first phase's $2,000 profit is not a funded reward.
Use separate tabs or records for phase one, phase two and funded. Include the account identifier even when the displayed size is identical. That prevents an old balance screenshot from being mistaken for progress in the new stage.
Calendar days and trading days are different
The trading-day guide counts a UTC day when at least one trade closes. Opening a position alone is insufficient. Multiple closes within one UTC day still create one day, rather than a day for every ticket.
Imagine a position opened late Monday UTC and closed on Tuesday. The close belongs in Tuesday's ledger. If three other trades also close Tuesday, they do not turn Tuesday into four days. This timestamp distinction is particularly important for traders whose local date has already changed.
A useful record has UTC date, first close, last close, net closed result and stage. Keep your local timezone in a separate column for convenience; do not replace the firm's reference clock with it. Importing raw broker history without checking its timezone is a common way to overstate progress.
Funded days require a profit threshold
On the ordinary 2-Step funded account, current help requires each qualifying day to earn at least 0.5% of the relevant starting balance. The test uses the net closed result, not just the largest winning trade. For a first-cycle $25K account the threshold is $125.
| Illustrative day | Net closed result | Reaches $125? |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | $160 | Yes |
| Tuesday | $110 | No |
| Wednesday | -$70 | No |
| Thursday | $125 | Yes |
| Friday | $190 | Yes |
This five-day calendar contains three qualifying days, not five. The sum is $515, but a profitable cycle total does not replace the missing day count. A day with a $200 winner and a $100 loser produces only $100 net and would fail the $125 threshold in this example.
Do not force additional positions simply to make a day count. Trading requirements remain constraints on a strategy, not reasons to take a trade with no valid setup. The ledger's job is accurate reporting, not creating a target for impulsive risk.
Reconcile the count after a payout
The same day-count guide says the count restarts after payouts. On regular models that re-anchor, the relevant starting balance also changes. Therefore, carrying yesterday's threshold forward indefinitely can become incorrect.
For illustration, a re-anchored $25,400 balance gives 0.5% of $127. The difference from $125 is small, but a $126 day would meet one test and miss the other. Read the current dashboard threshold at the start of the new cycle and attach it to that cycle's record.
This article focuses on counting. The Atlas Forex review covers the wider drawdown, restrictions and source discrepancies. A reset or stage transition can also change the applicable record; do not silently merge histories.
Day completion is only one payout condition
The payout eligibility guide requires additional conditions, including an active compliant funded account, the payout window, enough profit and completed identity checks. Five qualifying days do not guarantee instant payment.
Help states a 14-day first and subsequent cycle for this model, while broader legal terms use different generic defaults. The precise order agreement needs to settle a conflicting date or share. Distinguish becoming eligible, submitting a request, approval and receipt in your tracker rather than labeling all four events payout day.
A final pre-request review should reconcile the stage, current cycle, UTC days, net results and dashboard count. If one differs, keep the trade IDs and ask for a targeted explanation. That is more useful than placing an extra trade to compensate for an unexplained mismatch.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
No. Regular 2-Step requires three days in each phase; phase two begins on a fresh account of the same size.
Current Atlas help counts the UTC day on which a trade closes, not merely the day it opens.
For the initial funded cycle, 0.5% of $25,000 is $125 of net closed daily profit. Re-anchoring can change later-cycle thresholds.
The trading-day guide says losing days do not add to the count; they do not reset it. Payouts restart the cycle count.
The regular 2-Step base fee is $160. Verified COMPARE at 50% gives $80 savings and an $80 calculated base fee.
