Atlas Funded's published refund policy allows an unused-account refund request within seven days of purchase, but approval is discretionary. It says the first placed trade makes the purchase final. If an ordinary Forex/CFD account is the wrong purchase, check its trading history and the request deadline before treating a small test trade as harmless.
Verified code: COMPARE gives the listed 50% off eligible Atlas Forex/CFD base purchase fees. A discounted price does not create a refund entitlement. Official sources and regular fees checked 9 October 2026.

Check whether the account is unused
The official refund policy distinguishes an account that has never been traded from one on which a trade has been placed. It says used accounts are non-refundable and accounts closed for a trading-rule breach do not receive fee refunds.
For an unused purchase, the policy permits a request within seven days. It asks for the order number and gives Atlas discretion over approval. A request being eligible for review is therefore different from a refund being approved.
Before contacting support, confirm the exact account identifier and whether any trade was placed. Do not infer “unused” merely from a zero balance change: a completed flat trade can leave no profit or loss while still being trading activity. If an order's status makes the boundary unclear, describe the actual history and ask for a decision rather than inventing an exemption.
Build the request from a small evidence set
A useful private record contains the order number, purchase date and time, account model, platform, amount actually paid, separate add-ons and account activity. Keep the receipt and any relevant account history together.
State what happened plainly. For example, choosing the wrong platform and never placing a trade is a different factual situation from trading the intended platform and later disliking the result. Avoid using a broad phrase such as “not used” when the platform record shows activity that needs explanation.
The policy directs requests from the email address on the account, with the order number and reason. Use the contact route on the official policy page. There is no need to include a password, private key or full card number in an ordinary refund message.
Save the acknowledgement and decision separately. An acknowledgement establishes that the request was received; it does not establish approval or a date when money will arrive. The policy says approved refunds return to the original payment method, with timing dependent on the bank or provider.
Keep the deadline and account state visible
A request worksheet can have these fields:
| Field | What to record |
|---|---|
| Purchase | Order reference and receipt timestamp |
| Account | Exact model, size, platform and identifier |
| Activity | Whether any trade was placed; relevant history |
| Request | Date sent and official acknowledgement |
| Decision | Approved, declined or still awaiting a response |
| Receipt | Actual returned amount and date, if paid |
This is an editorial recordkeeping suggestion, not an additional Atlas application requirement. It helps prevent a support acknowledgement from being mistaken for returned money.
Do not wait until the last moment to clarify an uncertain deadline. The short policy wording does not fully specify every timestamp or timezone edge case. Ask about the exact purchase rather than assuming that a local calendar date is the controlling cutoff.
An unresolved request is also not a reason to place a trade while waiting. Doing so could change the account fact on which the original request was based. Keep the status accurate in any follow-up.
Separate cancellation from an earned fee return
Atlas also describes a fee-return benefit after funded payouts. The fee-refund help page says the third consecutive paid payout on the same account triggers an Atlas Balance credit of the actual discounted challenge fee, excluding add-ons.
That is a different event from returning an unused purchase to the original payment method. Do not count a possible future platform credit as a refund already received, or assume that having bought an account starts the funded-payout count.
The legal refund policy lists a third funded payout for ordinary 1-Step, 2-Step and 2-Step Pro evaluations, while its wider model table differs from the help page's every-program wording. The help also specifies consecutive paid payouts and credit. Those details should be reconciled with the issued agreement before budgeting an earned return.
For example, an ordinary $25K 2-Step base fee of $160 reduced to $80 with COMPARE creates an $80 purchase record. Under the help page's actual-paid rule, an eligible later fee credit would use that $80 base payment, not the unreduced $160. This is arithmetic illustrating the published method, not a promise of qualification.
Check add-ons before deciding what a refund would cover
The legal policy describes add-ons as non-refundable. Keep their charges separate from the base account fee when reviewing the receipt or asking about an amount.
The purchase walkthrough explains that the order summary contains the chosen account, dollar rules and optional items. Review those before payment. A desired payout-frequency option or split upgrade can change both the total and what the purchase contains.
If an order is wrong, ask about that specific order. Do not buy a replacement first on the assumption that the original will be refunded. The PFA reset comparison covers a separate decision after breach, where a reset or new attempt involves another purchase.
