Code: COMPARE

Atlas Futures Standard's daily loss trigger is a temporary lockout, but its overall drawdown remains a hard account boundary. A loss can trigger both. Current help says the daily lockout closes positions and lasts until the next 4:45 PM New York reset; it does not rescue an account that also breaks its trailing floor.

Official sources checked: 6 October 2026. This guide separates those two controls on Standard. Atlas Apex, Direct and Forex have different rules.

Purchase fees and coupon calculation

PlanAccount sizeRegular fee USDCodeDiscountSavings USDFinal base fee USD
Standard$25,000$89.00COMPARE50%$44.50$44.50
Standard$50,000$139.00COMPARE50%$69.50$69.50
Standard$100,000$219.00COMPARE50%$109.50$109.50

Apply 50% once to the regular base fee. Optional upgrades, resets, taxes and payment charges are separate; no stacking or discount on an extra is assumed. See the current coupon terms.

The official futures selector and pricing data list these regular one-time fees. Standard $50K is $139, giving $69.50 savings and a $69.50 base fee with COMPARE. Optional services and trading charges are outside the calculation.

Identify the two reference points

The daily-loss guide describes Standard's 2% daily trigger relative to equity at the start of the trading day. It is a daily operating control. The drawdown guide instead uses the highest end-of-day balance less the program's dollar drawdown allowance, monitored against equity while positions remain open.

The day can begin with one distance to the daily trigger and a smaller distance to the hard floor. Looking only at the displayed daily allowance would then overstate the room available before account failure.

A $50K example where the hard floor comes first

Use the current help allowance of $2,500 for Standard $50K. Suppose a previous high end-of-day balance was $51,500, producing a $49,000 floor. A later session begins at $49,700. The remaining distance to that floor is only $700.

Two percent of $49,700 is $994. A trader who interprets the daily lockout as permission to lose $994 could cross the $49,000 hard floor first. This arithmetic uses the guide's start-of-day-equity wording; the dashboard's exact trigger is the operational reference.

ReferenceIllustrative amount
Session starting equity$49,700
Hard floor$49,000
Distance to hard floor$700
2% of starting equity$994

The lesson is not that $700 is a safe planned loss. Costs, slippage and open-position marks can move equity unexpectedly. The lesson is to track the tighter constraint and leave additional room rather than assuming the soft control always triggers first.

What changes at reset, and what does not

A daily reset can release the temporary lockout when the account remains valid. It does not erase realized losses, lower a trailing floor or reopen a breached account. Keep account state and daily trading availability in separate fields.

The EOD mechanism also differs from intraday trailing. A temporary open profit does not itself raise the EOD reference, while a new high closed balance at the designated reset can. Nevertheless, equity is monitored during trading. EOD describes when the reference is updated, not a license to ignore intraday losses.

In a private session log, record the start equity, daily trigger, current floor, live equity and account status. Before assuming the next session is available, check that the status is active rather than merely waiting for the clock.

Funded withdrawals add another boundary change

Current futures drawdown documentation says funded Standard's floor stops at the original starting balance, and the first payout request locks it there. This can materially reduce room if a payout is requested before the natural trail has reached that level.

Treat the first request as a separate planning event. Record the prospective account deduction and resulting equity before submitting. A successful daily session does not establish that the post-request account can withstand the same position size tomorrow.

Passing and payouts are separate from staying active

The Standard model page specifies evaluation target and day requirements, then separate funded consistency and qualifying-day tests. Avoid treating a daily lockout as an extension to a payout entitlement or as proof that all other requirements were met.

For the full model comparison and current discrepancies, see our Atlas Futures review. The official marketing selector and help differ on some size-specific drawdown figures, payout timing and platform availability. This guide explicitly uses help-center risk mechanics; the agreement and dashboard for the selected purchase must resolve any conflicting figure.

Build a practical pre-session check

First confirm the exact model and size, then copy both displayed loss references into the session record. Reconcile them after the daily reset and after a payout request. If the expected floor differs from the dashboard, stop planning from the old value and obtain a written explanation tied to the account identifier.

The purpose is to prevent a simple category error: a temporary trading lock is a status, while an overall breach ends the program account. A discounted purchase does not soften either condition. No loss limit should be treated as a recommended amount to risk.

Apply COMPARE to the selected account

  1. Open the official purchase selector linked above.
  2. Choose the exact market, model and size described in this guide.
  3. Read the issued rules, regional eligibility and separately priced options.
  4. Enter COMPARE before payment.
  5. Review the 50% base-fee reduction and the full order total.
  6. Retain the receipt and the account agreement for that configuration.
