Axi Select Edge Score and Funding Stages Explained (2026)

Axi Select does not use the usual “pay for a challenge, hit a target, receive a simulated funded account” structure. Traders begin with their own live Axi trading account, build an Edge Score, and can qualify for an Axi-funded Allocation Account whose trades mirror their activity at a stage-specific multiplier.

The path runs from Pre-Seed through six allocation stages: Seed, Incubation, Acceleration, Pro, Pro 500 and Pro M. Maximum published allocation reaches $1 million at Pro M, with an 80% performance-fee share.

This guide explains the current official pathway checked on August 28, 2026. Axi Select availability, leverage and product access depend on the trader's country and contracting Axi entity. How Axi Select Works

Axi Select connects two distinct accounts:

1. Axi Select trading account: the trader's own live account containing personal funds.
2. Allocation Account: an Axi-funded account that mirrors eligible trades at a multiplier determined by stage and starting equity.

The Allocation Account cannot be withdrawn from directly. When it generates eligible profit, Axi calculates a Performance Fee and transfers it to the trader's Axi Select trading account.

This distinction matters. Personal funds in the live account are exposed to normal leveraged-CFD trading risk. Axi's allocation increases the scale of mirrored trades, but it does not make the trader's own account risk-free.

What Is the Axi Select Edge Score?

The Edge Score is Axi's dynamic measure of trading quality. The current dashboard evaluates four broad areas:

• Skill: ability to generate return while managing drawdown;
• Risk: how effectively trading risk is controlled;
• Consistency: stability of performance and behaviour;
• Experience: whether the activity sample is credible enough to assess.

Axi says the score updates in real time. The dashboard highlights three behaviours currently influencing the result and offers personalised improvement insights.

The “maximum Edge Score gain” shown beside an insight is not guaranteed. It indicates a possible upper limit from addressing that behaviour, and separate gains are not cumulative.

Pre-Seed Entry Requirements

Every new participant begins in Pre-Seed. There is no allocation during this stage and no maximum time limit.

To qualify for Seed, a new trader must:

• complete at least 20 unique closed trades;
• achieve an Edge Score of at least 50;
• maintain at least $500 in the Axi Select trading account.

Hedged positions are excluded from the 20-trade qualification count. If the score remains below 50 after 20 trades, the trader can continue trading until the required score is achieved.

Existing eligible Axi clients may use their current Axi data, but historical activity from another broker cannot be imported. A participant can hold only one Axi Select account at a time.

Axi Select Stage Comparison

The official public pathway currently lists:

Capital figures refer to Axi's allocation in addition to the trader's qualifying funds. The exact amount depends on equity and the stage multiplier rather than the stage ceiling alone.

A trader must satisfy all applicable criteria before pressing the progression control in the Client Portal. Reaching the profit target without the required Edge Score, days, trades or equity does not complete a stage.

Seed Stage

Seed is the first stage with an Allocation Account.

Requirements include:

• at least $500 equity;
• Edge Score of 50;
• up to a 10x multiplier;
• maximum allocation of $5,000;
• 7% profit target;
• at least 30 stage days;
• at least 20 trades;
• 7% Maximum Loss.

Seed does not pay a Performance Fee under the current pathway. It is the first monitored allocation stage and establishes whether the trader can sustain the required behaviour while trades are mirrored.

A withdrawal in Seed can reset the Allocation Account and remove stage profit, so traders should read the current withdrawal cases before moving personal funds.

Incubation Stage

Incubation raises minimum equity to $1,000 and Edge Score to 60.

Current benefits and criteria include:

• up to 10x multiplier;
• maximum $20,000 allocation;
• 40% Performance Fee share;
• 7% allocation profit target;
• at least 60 days;
• at least 40 trades;
• 7% Maximum Loss.

Profit sharing begins at Incubation. Axi normally calculates eligible performance at month-end and transfers the trader's share at the start of the next calendar month.

Acceleration Stage

Acceleration requires:

• minimum $2,000 equity;
• Edge Score of at least 70;
• up to 25x multiplier;
• maximum $100,000 allocation;
• 50% Performance Fee share;
• 7% target;
• at least 60 days;
• at least 50 trades;
• 7% Maximum Loss.

This is the largest jump in multiplier from the previous stage. A larger allocation magnifies both mirrored profit and loss, so the 7% Allocation Account limit remains important even when the personal-account trade appears modest.

Pro Stage

Pro raises the performance threshold substantially:

• minimum $5,000 equity;
• Edge Score of 90;
• up to 40x multiplier;
• maximum $200,000 allocation;
• 60% share;
• 7% target;
• at least 60 days;
• at least 50 trades;
• 7% Maximum Loss.

A key risk change is that Pro does not provide Quarantine. Exceeding Maximum Loss removes the participant from the programme, requiring a restart from Seed if eligible.

Pro 500 Stage

Pro 500 requires:

• minimum $10,000 equity;
• Edge Score of 90;
• up to 50x multiplier;
• maximum $500,000 allocation;
• 70% share;
• 7% target;
• at least 60 days;
• at least 50 trades;
• 7% Maximum Loss.

As with Pro, there is no Quarantine buffer. The published maximum allocation is a ceiling; actual funding depends on the equity and multiplier fixed when the stage begins.

Pro M Stage

Pro M is the highest published stage:

• minimum $20,000 equity;
• Edge Score of 90;
• up to 50x multiplier;
• maximum $1 million allocation;
• 80% Performance Fee share;
• 10% Maximum Loss;
• no further progression target, day count or trade count shown.

The higher 10% loss allowance does not create a Quarantine. Breaching the limit at Pro M can remove the trader from the programme.

How the 7% Maximum Loss Works

Axi measures Maximum Loss in real time on the Allocation Account. It includes unrealized P/L from open positions, so an account can trigger the limit before a trade is closed.

For Seed through Pro 500:

Maximum Loss amount = 7% of initial Allocation Account funds at the start of the stage

For Pro M, the amount is 10%.

The reference point is not current balance and does not trail the highest balance. Additional personal deposits during a stage do not widen the existing Allocation Account loss allowance.

Example: if an Allocation Account begins a stage at $100,000, the 7% limit is $7,000. If open and closed losses bring Allocation Account equity to the applicable boundary, programme consequences may apply even if the position later recovers.

Because trades are mirrored at a multiplier, traders should judge risk from both accounts. A loss that is manageable in the personal account can be much larger in the Allocation Account.

Quarantine Explained

Quarantine is a seven-calendar-day hold used after a Maximum Loss event in Incubation or Acceleration.

When triggered:

• Allocation Account positions are closed;
• new allocation access is paused;
• the account cannot be used until the hold ends and re-entry criteria are met;
• the required Edge Score and equity must be restored before access resumes.

The first and second occurrences can allow return to the previous stage after seven days if criteria are met. A third occurrence in Incubation or Acceleration can return the trader to Seed.

Quarantine does not apply to Seed, Pro, Pro 500 or Pro M. A Maximum Loss event in those stages causes immediate programme removal under the current official guidance.

This exception is easy to miss because a general Axi Select page may describe Quarantine broadly. Stage-specific Help Centre rules should control expectations.

Monthly Performance Fees

Eligible performance fees are normally transferred at the beginning of the next calendar month, provided:

• the Allocation Account is profitable;
• all Allocation Account positions are closed at month-end;
• the participant remains compliant.

If positions remain open, no payment is made at that time and the Allocation Account remains unchanged.

Axi's official example uses a $10,000 Incubation allocation that ends at $11,000. With a 40% share, the trader receives $400, after which the Allocation Account resets to its base balance.

The allocation itself cannot be withdrawn. Performance Fees are credited to the trader's personal Axi Select trading account, and withdrawals occur from that account.

Withdrawal Timing Can Affect Profit Share

Axi updated its withdrawal guidance on August 28, 2026. It says that a withdrawal after the trader has placed the first trade of a new month can forfeit all Performance Fee entitlement for that current month.

A withdrawal can also reduce qualifying equity, recalculate the multiplier and shrink future allocation.

Before withdrawing, verify:

• whether the previous month's Performance Fee has been credited;
• whether a trade has already been placed in the new month;
• minimum equity for the current stage;
• the reduced allocation implied by remaining funds;
• Return to Source rules for deposited money.

This is one of the most important operational differences between Axi Select and a normal challenge model: personal-account deposits and withdrawals directly interact with programme eligibility.

Leverage and Platforms

Axi Select uses Axi's live trading environment and supports the programme through its eligible MetaTrader setup and Client Portal.

Current official guidance says leverage is flexible in Pre-Seed and Seed, subject to regional availability. From Incubation onward, leverage is fixed at 100:1.

Higher leverage increases exposure capacity, not the amount a strategy should risk. Edge Score and Maximum Loss are designed to measure whether that capacity is managed consistently.

How to Improve the Edge Score Responsibly

Axi does not publish a simple fixed formula that guarantees a specific score. The dashboard's real-time insights are more useful than trying to game one metric.

Practical priorities are:

Improve Skill Without Forcing Return

Use setups with a tested positive expectancy and avoid raising risk merely to reach the 7% stage target faster.

Control Risk Across Correlated Positions

Several currency pairs can express the same underlying exposure. Edge Score and Maximum Loss can deteriorate even when each individual ticket looks small.

Keep Behaviour Consistent

Sudden changes in size, frequency or strategy make performance harder to evaluate and can damage the consistency component.

Build a Credible Sample

The Experience factor rewards enough meaningful activity to judge performance. Opening artificial trades only to increase the count is not a substitute for a repeatable strategy.

Use the Dashboard Insights

The Edge Score page identifies three behaviours currently affecting the score. Treat estimated score improvement as directional guidance, not a promise.

Axi Select vs a Traditional Prop Challenge

Axi Select differs in several ways:

• the trader uses personal funds in a live broker account;
• qualification is based on actual activity and Edge Score;
• there is no single purchased evaluation account;
• progression has minimum equity and long stage-duration requirements;
• allocations mirror the trader's positions;
• performance fees are monthly;
• personal withdrawals can change allocation and profit-share eligibility.

This can suit traders who already want to trade a live Axi account and build a long-term record. It may not suit someone seeking a short evaluation with no personal-market exposure.

Key Risks and Caveats

Axi Select is a leveraged CFD programme, not guaranteed income. The trader's personal capital can lose value.

Also remember:

• programme availability varies by jurisdiction and Axi entity;
• the pathway table is subject to change;
• Edge Score can move in real time;
• allocation ceilings are not automatically granted;
• floating losses count toward Maximum Loss;
• Pro stages have no Quarantine;
• open month-end positions can delay Performance Fees;

Axi Select offers a structured progression path based on live trading history rather than a one-off evaluation. Its strongest feature is transparent stage progression from a $5,000 Seed allocation to a potential $1 million Pro M allocation. Its main complexities are the Edge Score, minimum equity commitments, 30-to-60-day stage durations, real-time Allocation Account loss limits and withdrawal timing.

Traders considering the programme should focus first on whether they are comfortable risking personal capital in a live CFD account.
