Blue Guardian Funded News Map + Promo Code CFP

For Blue Guardian funded CFD accounts, map the news event to every affected instrument before checking the five-minute window on either side. A USD/FOMC restriction can reach metals, US indices and crypto as well as currency pairs. An order accepted by the platform does not establish that its profit will be eligible.

Verified code: CFP gives 25% off eligible Blue Guardian Forex/CFD base-account fees. Current coupon scope. Official rules and selector checked on 10 October 2026. This article does not import the separate Blue Guardian Futures news policy.

Verified on 12 October 2026. Verified code: CFP.

Identify the account stage first

The 1 Step Standard rulebook allows challenge-stage news trading but restricts funded opening and closing around high-impact releases. The Instant Standard guide also restricts news trading and expressly identifies purchases after 13 November 2025. Use the exact purchased model and stage.

A trader moving from evaluation to funding should therefore update the operating checklist before the first funded session. A method used during a challenge does not establish funded permission. Keep the account label beside the calendar so a copier, terminal tab or saved chart does not quietly inherit the wrong policy.

Match event categories to symbols

The official funded rules include an affected-instrument table. Selected examples are condensed below; use the complete table for your actual symbols.

Event categoryForex examplesOther listed markets
USD/FOMCEURUSD, USDJPY, GBPUSDGold, silver, US indices, BTCUSD and ETHUSD
EUREURUSD, EURGBP, EURJPYGER40
GBPGBPUSD, EURGBP, GBPJPYUK100
JPYUSDJPY, EURJPY, GBPJPYJPN225

The practical point is cross-market coverage. A trader with only an index position can still be affected by the relevant event. Conversely, the existence of one event should not be turned into an invented blanket rule for every market. Check the listed mappings and ask Blue Guardian about an unfamiliar platform symbol or ambiguous event category.

Use the instrument's actual identity when platform names differ. A suffix or alias can make the terminal label look different from the help-center label without changing the underlying exposure. Preserve both names in the worksheet rather than assuming an unrecognised string is exempt.

Turn the calendar into an execution check

The rulebooks specify five minutes before and five minutes after high-impact releases, and separately mention FOMC speeches, statements and events. They also describe removing profits earned in the window or significantly influenced by the news. A timestamp outside the ten-minute span is therefore not an unconditional profit guarantee.

For a hypothetical release at 14:30 in the chosen calendar's displayed timezone, mark the restriction from 14:25 through 14:35 in that same timezone. Verify the platform conversion before comparing executions. Avoid treating an exact boundary second as a safe harbour when execution time, clock alignment or the event classification remains uncertain.

Our suggested event record contains the event name, category, calendar timezone, planned release time, mapped symbols, affected account IDs and relevant execution timestamps. This can stay short. Its value comes from matching actual positions and orders to a specific event instead of using a generic reminder saying “news today.”

Review more than the visible market order

Before the event, inspect open positions, entry orders, protective exits, trade-manager settings and any same-owner copier workflow. A pending instruction can produce an execution even when the trader does not click at that moment. Do not assume automatic execution is exempt merely because its order was created earlier.

If the public wording does not settle how a particular protective-order scenario is assessed, ask the firm before relying on it. Removing risk protection solely to avoid an administrative restriction can create a different problem; account loss limits still need to be respected.

For example, an account list might contain EURGBP, UK100 and BTCUSD. A GBP event calls for examining the GBP-linked pair and UK index. A separate USD/FOMC event calls for checking the crypto mapping. Keeping the two events on different rows helps prevent both missed restrictions and unnecessarily broad assumptions.

Reconcile affected profit before a payout

Keep the original trading statement and any adjustment notice. If a profit removal occurs, compare its execution IDs, symbols and event references with the saved event record. Ask for the exact calculation where the adjustment cannot be reconciled. Do not delete rows, relabel execution times or assume the initial dashboard profit is the final eligible amount.

The payout guide describes a review process and separate payment conditions. News compliance is one part of that review. A correct event worksheet does not establish that the account also meets its days, consistency, buffer or verification requirements.
