Blue Guardian Futures Contract Limits and Funded Scaling

Blue Guardian Futures uses flat contract limits for Standard and Direct, while funded Express and Reserve accounts scale with end-of-day profit. Recheck the account model and stage before placing or copying a trade: an evaluation maximum does not necessarily carry over to funded trading.

CFP: up to 45% off all Blue Guardian Futures account purchases. Verified on 12 October 2026 by Yash R.

Rules reviewed: 10 October 2026. The official contract-limit and funded-scaling guide provides the detailed limits below. This article covers Futures, not Blue Guardian CFD accounts.

Contract-limit system at a glance

ModelEvaluation limitFunded structure
StandardFlat by account sizeSame flat limit
DirectNot an evaluation routeFull flat limit immediately
ExpressFull evaluation limitReduced starting limit, then EOD scaling
ReserveFull evaluation limitReduced starting limit, then EOD scaling

Blue Guardian Futures defines 1 mini as 10 micros. Mixed positions are permitted when their combined equivalent stays within the account limit.

Express evaluation limits by account size

Express evaluation accounts publish these full-size maximums:

Account sizeMinisMicros
$25K110
$50K440
$100K880
$150K12120

For comparison, Reserve evaluations use 2 minis or 20 micros on $25K, then 4/40, 8/80 and 12/120 on the larger sizes. This Reserve $25K allowance must not be copied to an Express evaluation.

Passing does not mean the evaluation maximum carries directly into the funded account. Both Reserve and Express move to the funded scaling table.

Funded starting limits

Account sizeStarting minisStarting micros
$25K110
$50K220
$100K330
$150K330

The official help center says scaling is recalculated at end of day from the closing balance. Intraday unrealized profit alone does not permanently unlock the next tier.

Funded scaling triggers

Profit trigger held through EOD$25K$50K$100K$150K
Starting tier1 / 102 / 203 / 303 / 30
+$1,5002 / 203 / 304 / 404 / 40
+$2,000—4 / 405 / 505 / 50
+$3,000——8 / 808 / 80
+$4,500———12 / 120

Each cell shows minis / micros.

$100K example

A $100K Express trader can use up to eight minis during evaluation. After passing, the funded account starts at three minis. If the closing balance holds at least $1,500 in profit, the limit becomes four minis. At +$2,000 it becomes five, and at +$3,000 it reaches eight.

If the end-of-day balance later drops below a trigger, Blue Guardian Futures says the tier may be reduced.

Mixed mini and micro positions

The conversion is:

1 mini = 10 micros

On a four-mini limit, examples include:

  • 4 minis
  • 40 micros
  • 2 minis plus 20 micros
  • 1 mini plus 30 micros

The limit applies to simultaneous open positions. Working orders can still create accidental over-sizing if several entries fill together, so order quantity should be reconciled before submission.

What happens above the limit

The official policy says orders exceeding the contract limit are automatically rejected. A rejection should prompt these checks:

  1. Confirm the current funded tier, not the evaluation tier.
  2. Add all simultaneous positions.
  3. Convert minis and micros to a single equivalent.
  4. Review working entry orders.
  5. Check whether an EOD balance decline reduced the tier.
  6. Verify the correct account was selected in the platform.

Do not repeatedly resubmit a rejected order without fixing the cause.

Keep evaluation, funded and Live sizing separate

The Express rules set a 6% evaluation target and 40% evaluation consistency. Funded Express has no consistency rule, but funded contract scaling still applies. Passing the evaluation does not preserve its full position allowance.

A later Live transition uses a separate assigned combined-drawdown and position-limit structure. Do not carry an Express evaluation or funded tier into Live without checking the issued limits. Position permission also does not establish available risk: check the account's remaining loss room before sizing any trade.

How Standard and Direct differ from Express

Standard and Direct accounts use the same published maximums:

Account sizeMaximum minisMaximum micros
$25K110
$50K440
$100K880
$150K12120

Standard keeps these limits through evaluation and funded trading. Direct begins at the full listed limit because it starts in the funded environment.

A maximum position is not a recommended size. Traders should still calculate risk from stop distance, tick value, commissions and remaining drawdown.

All-account CFP offer with model-specific fee examples

Price configuration reviewed on 12 October 2026: The official Futures page lists Reserve with DLL on and selectable evaluation-consistency settings. The 50% consistency configuration used in these examples is not a universal default: the current marketing selector marks the 40% variant as default, differing from the earlier checkout observation. Keep the chosen consistency setting with its matching price; maximum-discount figures remain conditional.

Regular fees were checked on 10 October 2026 in the official checkout for the labeled Futures models and sizes on Tradovate, one account and an empty coupon field. The 45% columns are a maximum-discount calculation, not a guaranteed payable quote for every configuration: regular fee × 0.45 gives savings; regular fee × 0.55 gives the calculated fee. CFP applies across Standard, Reserve, Express and Direct account purchases; use the actual accepted discount and final total for the selected order. Do not stack it on another promotion. Separate data, optional extras, reset or reactivation fees, taxes, currency conversion and payment charges are excluded unless expressly included.

CFP applies across all Blue Guardian Futures account types. These rows compare current verified configurations, not equivalent account stages. Standard and Express purchases start an evaluation; Direct starts in the simulated funded environment. Reserve also starts an evaluation. Its $128 row uses the $1,200 daily loss limit and selected 50% challenge consistency, with no extra option selected. Selecting 40% consistency produced a separately displayed $16 reduction to $112; that adjusted configuration is not used in the coupon arithmetic because the coupon treatment of the separate option adjustment was not tested. See the current Futures CFP offer. The coupon changes the eligible purchase fee; it cannot increase contract limits, unlock a tier or alter payout rules.

Keep a separate size map for each account

A flat Standard or Direct limit is simpler to track. Express and Reserve funded accounts require an end-of-day tier check because permitted size can move up or down. Save the current account model, stage, maximum minis or micros, closing balance and active tier together.

Traders using a copier should set a separate quantity multiplier for every follower. Copying an eight-mini $100K Express evaluation trade into a newly funded $100K Express account would exceed its three-mini starting limit. Reconcile live positions and working orders independently after every copied change.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Express and Reserve funded accounts use end-of-day scaling. Standard and Direct use the fixed limits in the official contract-limit guide. Their maximum quantity must still fit the account’s remaining risk allowance.
