Verified code: COMPARE gives 80% off Velocity, 40% off the first five Premier+ uses and 30% afterward, plus 30% off Prime. These Funded Futures Family discounts are plan-specific. A $125 Velocity $50K monthly base fee calculates to a $25 initial payment at the 80% rate.

Before choosing a plan for event trading, read its own news conditions. The current general policy permits news trading unless the particular account or plan imposes a restriction. There is no single flattening window that should be copied across every Funded Futures Family account.
Official policies and published price references checked: 10 October 2026. This guide focuses on establishing permission and reviewing order exposure around a release.
Start with the exact account's news rule
The official news policy says account-specific restrictions control. Where an account has no news restriction, trading through Tier 1 events is permitted without an additional news-specific flattening requirement. Where a restriction exists, its timing and position conditions must be followed.
Save the model name, account stage, issued rules and policy date before building a calendar. An evaluation, simulated funded account and later professional arrangement should not inherit one another's permission merely because the login belongs to the same trader.
For a useful question to support, identify the account and event, then ask whether entries, exits, existing positions and working orders have different conditions. A broad question about whether news is allowed can leave the particular operation unresolved.
Separate the event clock from the session clock
The permitted-hours policy currently lists a daily close at 4:45 p.m. EST and reopening at 6 p.m. EST, with automatic closure if positions remain open. That daily schedule is separate from any account-specific event restriction.
Preserve the published time-zone label and confirm the platform's operational clock, particularly around daylight-saving changes and holiday notices. Do not turn the general permission to trade news into permission to trade while the account or instrument is closed.
Keep these fields together for each relevant event:
| Check | Evidence to record |
|---|---|
| Release | Name, date and official scheduled time |
| Account permission | Exact model, stage and applicable news wording |
| Platform clock | Displayed zone and the equivalent event time |
| Exposure | Positions and working orders before the release |
| Resolution | Final fills, cancellations and any support clarification |
This is an editorial preparation checklist. It does not introduce a new firm-defined buffer or promise that a release will occur at the expected time.
Permission does not fix the execution price
The news policy warns that volatile releases can bring gaps, slippage, data delays and irregular fills. Funded Futures Family places responsibility for those execution conditions on the trader under its published notice.
A concrete example shows why the planned stop and realized loss can differ. CME's Micro E-mini specifications value one outright Micro E-mini S&P 500 tick at $1.25. Assuming the chosen account permits the position, ten contracts with a planned twenty-tick adverse move represent $250 before commissions: 10 × 20 × $1.25.
If the actual exit is four ticks worse, the additional loss is $50. The price-movement loss becomes $300 before commissions, a 20% increase over the original $250 estimate. This is a hypothetical execution example using the real contract tick value, not a forecast of typical slippage or a recommendation to trade ten contracts.
The difference matters even if every entry was permitted. Compare the actual account's remaining loss room and active position ceiling with the complete scenario. A coupon saving cannot absorb a simulated rule breach or guarantee a favorable exit.
Record the order state before the release
A useful snapshot includes every open position and still-working entry, stop and target. Record the order quantity and status rather than looking only at chart drawings. If the account has a restriction, check how its wording applies to each item before the restricted period begins.
After a cancellation or modification, look for an acknowledgment. When the platform's result is uncertain, reconcile fills and positions before issuing another instruction. Repeating an order because the screen seems slow can create additional exposure if the first instruction was accepted.
Following the event, save the actual fill prices and any relevant timestamps. This creates a clear incident record if the displayed result differs from expectations. Keep credentials and payment details out of screenshots sent to support.
General conduct rules still apply
The fair-play policy prohibits exploiting errors, pricing discrepancies and platform delays, as well as manipulation of risk or payout systems. News permission does not authorize a method that depends on those behaviors.
If the trading method relies on stale prices or an execution anomaly, obtain clarification before using it. Ordinary volatility risk and deliberately exploiting a platform defect require different assessments. For automation questions, consult the separate Funded Futures Family bot and copying guide.
Initial purchase prices with COMPARE
The current official Velocity, Premier+ and Prime guides publish these regular monthly base fees. Their price tables are dated August or September 2026 and were rechecked on 10 October; the accepted order determines today's charge.
| Plan | Size | Regular price | Code | Discount | Savings | Final price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Velocity base, initial monthly payment | $50,000 | $125.00 | COMPARE | 80% | $100.00 | $25.00 |
| Premier+ Standard Intraday, first five uses | $50,000 | $119.00 | COMPARE | 40% | $47.60 | $71.40 |
| Premier+ Standard Intraday, later uses | $50,000 | $119.00 | COMPARE | 30% | $35.70 | $83.30 |
| Prime Included, initial monthly payment | $50,000 | $179.00 | COMPARE | 30% | $53.70 | $125.30 |
Amounts are USD initial base payments. Do not apply Velocity's 80% rate to Premier+ or Prime. Renewals, resets, paid add-ons and other separate charges are not discounted in this table. The first-five-use condition is preserved without assuming that changing size restarts the allowance. No COMPARE rate is established here for other account families.
Apply the offer after checking the plan
- Open the official Funded Futures Family site and select Velocity, Premier+ or Prime.
- Match the size, drawdown method and options, and read that account's trading rules.
- Enter COMPARE and verify the applicable plan rate and Premier+ usage tier.
- Review today's payment, renewal amount and separate charges before paying; keep the order and issued terms.
The current COMPARE offer and Funded Futures Family review provide wider context. Prop Firm Audit may earn commission from qualifying referrals. Program fees can be lost, accounts are simulated at these stages, and no checklist or discount guarantees a payout.
