Funded Futures Family No Daily Loss Limit: Rules, Risk and COMPARE Coupon

Funded Futures Family (FFF) advertises no daily loss limit on its Velocity, Premier+ and Prime evaluations and simulated funded accounts. Maximum drawdown still applies, including the risk created by trailing thresholds and withdrawals. FFF's live Professional Stage is a separate program that does include a daily loss limit.

The Funded Futures Family coupon code is COMPARE: 80% off Velocity, 40% off the first five Premier+ uses, then 30%, and 30% off Prime. The detailed tables below show the regular monthly fee and calculated initial payment for every listed size and configuration.

Verified on 12 October 2026. Verified code: COMPARE.

Updated: 2 October 2026. Author: Yash R. Rules and published base-fee tables were reviewed against official FFF pages and its Help Center. Coupon percentages come from the Compare Futures Prop offer recorded by Prop Firm Audit. All prices are in US dollars.

Funded Futures Family no daily loss limit: the direct answer

A daily loss limit (DLL) is a separate limit on losses within the firm's defined trading day. Maximum drawdown is the account's broader loss boundary. Having no DLL means there is no additional daily threshold on the plans covered here; the account must still remain inside its maximum-loss rules.

The advertised account size is simulated buying power, rather than a cash balance the trader owns or can withdraw. For example, the Velocity $50,000 account begins with a $2,250 maximum drawdown allowance. Its initial loss threshold is $47,750 before any upward trailing movement.

QuestionAnswer for the plans covered here
Does Velocity have a daily loss limit? No separate DLL in evaluation or simulated funding
Does Premier+ have a daily loss limit? No separate DLL; Intraday and EOD drawdown choices remain
Does Prime have a daily loss limit? No separate DLL; it uses EOD drawdown
Does no DLL remove maximum loss? No; the active drawdown threshold remains controlling
Does no DLL remove consistency rules? No; consistency depends on the plan and account stage
Is the live Professional Stage also free of DLL?No; its published risk framework includes a DLL
Does COMPARE change the trading rules? It reduces the stated purchase fee; it does not expand the account's risk allowance

The Premier first-five-use rate is a redemption condition. Select the matching 40% or 30% row using the rate shown for your purchase; five uses does not mean five months of automatically discounted subscription billing.

Final initial fee = regular monthly base fee × (1 − discount percentage). The calculations apply COMPARE once to the regular fee. They do not stack another promotion or apply the base discount to a paid add-on. No fixed COMPARE expiry date has been supplied, so the article date is not an expiry date.

For example, a Velocity $50K evaluation at $125 has a $100 reduction at 80% off and a calculated initial fee of $25. Premier+ Standard Intraday $50K at $119 becomes $71.40 at 40% off or $83.30 at 30% off. Prime Included $50K at $179 becomes $125.30 at 30% off.

Regular fees are the figures displayed in the official Velocity, Premier+ and Prime plan guides read on 2 October 2026; those guides date their fee tables to August or September 2026. The selected order determines the charge when purchasing.

Billing, activation and the real purchase cost

FFF's billing-cycle policy says the evaluation subscription begins on registration and renews monthly on that billing cycle. Passing stops the subscription automatically. A failed evaluation continues billing unless cancelled through the dashboard; a reset does not create a new billing date.

The same policy states there is no activation fee or monthly funded-account fee after passing. A zero activation fee still requires the account to be activated: the Velocity, Premier+ and Prime evaluation guides specify a seven-day activation window after a pass.

Separate resets, paid options and payment-provider charges belong in the purchase budget. The coupon tables calculate the base entry charge. An 80% cheaper evaluation is an 80% fee saving, not an 80% reduction in the profit target, drawdown pressure or probability of failure.

A useful planning calculation is:

Total evaluation spending = initial payment + any renewal payments + purchased resets + paid options.

If an evaluation has to be purchased again, that extra fee is a new cost. Keeping a personal record of fees makes the difference between an inexpensive first order and an expensive series of attempts visible.

Velocity rules: intraday trailing drawdown and payout milestones

Velocity uses intraday trailing drawdown in both evaluation and simulated funding. Its standard evaluation requires at least three trading days and 40% consistency.

Velocity sizeEvaluation profit targetMaximum drawdownHeadline maximum position
$25,000$2,500$1,2503 minis or 30 micros
$50,000$4,000$2,2505 minis or 50 micros
$100,000$7,000$3,25010 minis or 100 micros
$150,000$10,000$4,75015 minis or 150 micros

Funded contract access scales with profit; the headline maximum is not the starting funded allowance. The official guide's first funded tier lists 1 / 3 / 4 / 5 minis on the four sizes. Use the active account's contract limit before submitting an order.

Standard funded payout requests need three qualifying days of at least $200, the size-specific new realized profit requirement and 40% consistency. The Daily Payout Add-On removes the funded day and consistency requirements, while retaining profit requirements and using different payout caps.

Velocity sizeNew realized profit required per payout cycleStandard request capDaily Add-On request cap
$25,000$1,500$750$600
$50,000$3,000$1,250$1,000
$100,000$6,000$2,250$1,500
$150,000$9,000$3,250$2,500

Daily Add-On requests are limited to one per day. The published simulated-funded split is 90% to the trader and 10% to FFF.

Sources: Velocity evaluation, Velocity drawdown, Velocity plan specifications and scaling, and Velocity payout requirements.

Worked example: giving back an open profit on Velocity $50K

This is an illustration of the published formula, rather than a trade recommendation.

StepAccount equityHighest equity so farTrailing thresholdRemaining equity cushion
Start$50,000$50,000$47,750$2,250
Open trade reaches a new high$50,900$50,900$48,650$2,250
Open gain reverses$49,300$50,900$48,650$650

The $900 open gain raised the threshold by $900. When equity later dropped to $49,300, the threshold did not fall back to $47,750. From that point, a further $650 reduction would reach the displayed boundary.

Use the threshold itself as the boundary rather than relying on small wording differences between “below” and “at” in public descriptions. Leave room above it for commissions and execution movement. An order intended to exit before the threshold can still fill at a worse price in a fast market.

Premier+ rules: drawdown choice and the September 2026 update

Premier+ offers two evaluation choices: Standard and FastPass, each with Intraday or End-of-Day (EOD) drawdown.

The official plan guide distinguishes 50% Standard evaluation consistency and at least two trading days from no FastPass evaluation consistency and a possible one-day pass. Its general Help Center evaluation page uses broader “no consistency” wording, so the purchased configuration must identify Standard or FastPass explicitly.

For funded accounts purchased on or after 9 September 2026, the official funded and payout pages specify 40% consistency. Earlier accounts retain their original funded terms. The evaluation and funded stage therefore must be checked separately.

Premier+ sizeEvaluation profit targetIntraday maximum drawdownEOD maximum drawdownCurrent advertised mini cap for purchases from 9 September 2026
$25,000$1,500$1,000$7502
$50,000$3,000$2,000$1,5004
$100,000$6,000$3,000$2,5006
$150,000$9,000$4,500$4,00010

The official plan page says these newer accounts use flat caps without funded scaling, while the funded Help Center table still marks scaling “Yes.” This source disagreement should be resolved against the account's issued rules and dashboard before choosing position size. The table above reports the current advertised caps, rather than treating old 3 / 5 / 10 / 15-mini figures as current new-purchase limits.

Premier+ EOD drawdown locks at the starting account balance. The intraday version follows equity highs. Its payout policy also says the drawdown is brought to base account size when the first payout is requested.

Funded requests require five qualifying $200-profit days, the applicable consistency rule and other payout conditions. There is no separate payout buffer; requests are capped at 50% of profit, with size caps of $1,000 / $2,000 / $2,500 / $3,000. After payout one, at least $1 in new net profit since the prior payout is required. The simulated-funded split is 90/10.

Sources: Premier+ plan guide, Premier+ evaluation, Premier+ funded account, Premier+ drawdown, and Premier+ payout requirements.

Worked example: Premier+ $50K Intraday versus EOD

Before either threshold locks, the $50K Intraday account starts with a $48,000 threshold: $50,000 minus $2,000. The $50K EOD account starts at $48,500: $50,000 minus $1,500.

Suppose equity briefly reaches $51,000, then finishes the session at $50,300:

  • Intraday: the $51,000 equity high raises the threshold to $49,000.
  • EOD: the open high does not set the trailing reference. A new $50,300 highest closing balance produces a $48,800 threshold, below the $50,000 lock level.

This example shows both sides of the choice. EOD initially has $500 less loss allowance, but an unrealized high does not pull its threshold upward. Compare the dollar limit and the update method together.

Prime rules: EOD drawdown, position options and a payout buffer

Prime uses EOD drawdown. The evaluation has no consistency requirement and can be passed in one qualifying trading day when the target and all rules are met.

Prime sizeEvaluation targetMaximum drawdownIncluded maximum positionPrime Max maximum position
$25,000$1,250$1,0002 minis or 20 micros3 minis or 30 micros
$50,000$3,000$2,0004 minis or 40 micros5 minis or 50 micros
$100,000$6,000$3,0006 minis or 60 micros10 minis or 100 micros
$150,000$9,000$4,50010 minis or 100 micros15 minis or 150 micros

These are model maximums. Prime's funded stage uses a scaling plan, so the dashboard's current allowance also matters.

Its drawdown trails the highest closing balance, then locks at the starting account balance once the specified trail level is cleared. For Prime $50K, the published initial trail balance is $52,000 and the locked loss threshold is $50,000.

Funded payout conditions include three trading days between requests, qualifying days of at least $200, 40% cycle consistency and the following size-specific limits. The buffer must remain after a withdrawal.

Prime sizeNew profit target per cycleRequired buffer balanceFirst payout capLater payout cap
$25,000$300$26,100$1,000$1,500
$50,000$500$52,100$2,000$2,500
$100,000$750$103,100$3,000$3,500
$150,000$1,000$154,600$3,500$4,000

The payout buffer is different from the locked maximum-loss threshold. On Prime $50K, $52,100 is the published payout buffer, while $50,000 is the locked drawdown floor. Replacing one with the other would overstate withdrawable profit.

How EOD and intraday drawdown change risk

FeatureIntraday trailingEOD trailing
Reference used to raise the thresholdHighest account equity, including open profitHighest recorded session-closing balance
Can a temporary open gain raise the threshold?YesIt does not set a new EOD reference
Does a losing session lower a raised threshold?NoNo
Relevant plans in this guideVelocity and Premier+ IntradayPrime and Premier+ EOD
Static lock described by the relevant guidesDo not assume an EOD lock applies to an intraday accountPrime and Premier+ EOD lock at their published base-balance floor

EOD describes how the loss floor is recalculated. It should not be treated as permission to spend the account's loss allowance during the day. FFF's public EOD pages use closing-balance wording that does not fully explain every platform's liquidation timing. Keep equity above the active dashboard threshold throughout trading and use the account agreement for the exact breach mechanism.

That distinction becomes practical when a position has an unrealized loss. The loss may not raise an EOD high-water mark, yet it still consumes real account equity. If the market moves faster than an exit order, planning to recover by the close provides no dependable protection.

Withdrawals reduce the remaining drawdown cushion

The official Velocity, Premier+ and Prime drawdown guides state that a payout does not reset the loss threshold downward. A withdrawal reduces the balance available above that threshold.

Consider a simplified account with $53,000 balance and a $50,000 active floor. If a $1,000 account debit is approved, the balance becomes $52,000 and the remaining cushion changes from $3,000 to $2,000. This illustrates the effect of an account debit; it does not assert payout approval for a particular plan.

Prime adds a separate buffer restriction. On a Prime $50K account with $54,000 balance, only $1,900 sits above the $52,100 buffer. Although the published first-payout cap is $2,000, withdrawing that full amount would leave $52,000, below the buffer. The buffer and payout cap must both be satisfied, together with consistency, profit and day conditions.

An approved request limit is also different from the money received after the profit split and any provider charge. The simulated-funded 90/10 split means the trader's stated share is 90%; it does not turn the displayed account size into cash available for withdrawal.

Consistency rules: calculate the ratio before requesting a payout

Consistency measures the concentration of profit in the largest winning day.

Consistency percentage = largest winning day's realized profit ÷ total realized profit for the relevant calculation period × 100.

Under a 40% rule, a hypothetical $1,200 best day requires at least $3,000 total profit for the ratio to be 40%. With $2,000 total profit, that same day represents 60%. The additional $1,000 is a mathematical amount needed to reach the ratio, not a recommendation to trade until a specific target is achieved.

The Velocity consistency policy resets the calculation after each approved payout. Prime and new Premier+ funded purchases also use payout-cycle calculations under their payout policies. A condition described as applying for the lifetime of an account can remain in force while its calculation period resets; those statements are not interchangeable.

A large winning day may leave the account within maximum loss while delaying a payout request. Conversely, staying within consistency does not prevent a drawdown breach. Both tests need to be met.

Straight-to-Funded, Accelerate, Base and the live-stage exception

The no-DLL statement must be tied to the exact program and stage.

  • Standard Straight-to-Funded (S2F): immediate simulated funding, no separate DLL, 25% consistency and seven qualifying days of at least $200 for payout progress. Its funded account guide lists a scaling plan.
  • S2F Accelerate: the $50K program lists no DLL, $2,000 intraday trailing drawdown, 25% lifetime consistency and five $200 winning days. Its payout buffer is $52,100, with first and second request caps of $1,250 and a third-and-later cap of $1,500.
  • Base $2K: the evaluation lists no DLL, 40% consistency and EOD drawdown. The funded stage changes to intraday drawdown, removes consistency and retains a $4,000 post-withdrawal buffer.
  • Live Professional Stage: FFF's published framework includes a DLL governed by its scaling plan, personalized maximum drawdown and End-of-Position drawdown. Its stated split is 80% trader / 20% FFF, different from the simulated-funded 90/10 terms. Advancement is subject to risk review.

No COMPARE discount has been supplied for these programs in the offer used here. The Velocity percentage therefore should not be applied to their purchase fees.

Build a personal daily stop around the active loss floor

A personal stop is a trader's own rule. The figures in this section are illustrative budgeting choices, not FFF requirements or a prescribed strategy.

First record current equity, the active loss threshold and any pending withdrawal. Then calculate:

Remaining cushion = current account equity − active maximum-loss threshold.

Suppose equity is $50,000, the floor is $48,600 and the trader reserves $100 for execution costs. That leaves $1,300 for planning. Choosing 15% of that adjusted cushion as a session budget gives $195. Choosing $60 per planned trade would allow three full $60 losses before reaching $180, leaving $15 inside that session budget. Actual fills and commissions can change those numbers.

This approach uses the remaining loss allowance. A generic “1% of a $50K account” position budget would be $500, which could consume much of a small remaining cushion in one trade.

Recalculate when the account changes

  1. Check the dashboard floor before trading.
  2. Recalculate after an intraday equity high on a trailing account.
  3. Recalculate after the EOD threshold updates.
  4. Recalculate after a payout debit.
  5. Check funded scaling and total open contracts across positions.
  6. Stop when the chosen session budget is consumed.

Holding correlated positions can concentrate the risk. Two index-futures trades responding to the same move should be considered together when planning the account's possible loss. A low evaluation fee does not make a larger combined exposure easier to absorb.

News trading, automation and payout processing

FFF's news trading policy permits trading through news, including Tier 1 events, without a news-specific flattening window. This permission does not suspend maximum loss or remove slippage risk.

Its bot and algorithmic trading policy prohibits bot and algorithmic trading. The micro-scalping policy requires more than 50% of trades and more than 50% of profits to come from positions held longer than ten seconds. Merely staying inside drawdown does not satisfy these separate conduct requirements.

The official payout-methods guide describes EOD approvals, Rise onboarding and identity checks. Its estimated delivery periods are 1–3 business days for bank transfers and same day to 24 hours for crypto after the required steps. The day of a payout request does not count toward the next minimum-day requirement.

Use that detailed payment policy when planning cash flow. Promotional references to instant approval are not a guaranteed receipt time for every request.

How to apply COMPARE and choose the matching account

  1. Open Funded Futures Family's official website and choose Velocity, Premier+ or Prime.
  2. Select $25K, $50K, $100K or $150K.
  3. For Premier+, choose Standard or FastPass and Intraday or EOD. For Prime, choose Included or Max.
  4. Review the evaluation rules, funded rules, current contract cap and separate options.
  5. Enter COMPARE in the coupon or promo-code field before payment.
  6. Compare the applied rate and base fee with the matching table row. For Premier+, use the first-five-use or later-use row that matches the order.
  7. Review the complete total and renewal terms, then retain the receipt and account agreement.

The fee discount and the account model are two separate decisions. Velocity has the lowest listed COMPARE entry price but its drawdown follows open equity highs. Premier+ offers a choice of drawdown and evaluation path. Prime uses EOD drawdown and a defined payout buffer. Choose using the loss model, payout conditions and permitted size as well as the initial fee.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Velocity, Premier+ and Prime evaluations and simulated funded accounts advertise no separate daily loss limit. Maximum drawdown still applies. The live Professional Stage has its own daily loss limit under its published risk framework.
