At these references, Max costs $28 more after the coupon. It increases position capacity rather than the $3,000 loss allowance.
Account and funded requirements
| Item | Prime $100K |
|---|---|
| Evaluation target | $6,000 |
| Maximum-loss allowance | $3,000 |
| Drawdown | EOD trailing |
| Evaluation consistency | None |
| Included maximum position | 6 minis / 60 micros |
| Max maximum position | 10 minis / 100 micros |
| Funded minimum cycle profit | $750 |
| Funded buffer balance | $103,100 |
The funded payout guide also requires three trading days between requests, with qualifying days at $200 or more, and 40% consistency. The buffer must remain in the account rather than being withdrawn.
Why a $750 target does not unlock the first withdrawal alone
If the account grows from $100,000 to $100,750, it has achieved $750 profit but remains below the $103,100 buffer. There is no amount above that threshold to withdraw.
At $104,100 balance, there is $1,000 above the buffer. That is different from the full $4,100 profit shown above the initial account balance. The request must respect the protected amount alongside the account's remaining conditions.
Suppose the best day is $1,800 and total cycle profit is $4,100. The ratio is 43.90%, above 40%. Keeping the best day unchanged requires at least $4,500 total cycle profit for a 40% ratio.
Payout caps and retained account room
The official guide lists a $3,000 first-request cap and $3,500 later cap on the $100K account. Those caps do not override the buffer, cycle-profit or consistency checks.
For a hypothetical compliant account with $1,000 withdrawable above the buffer, the first cap does not turn that amount into $3,000. An approved $1,000 gross allocation at the published 90% share corresponds to $900 before payment-provider costs.
After a payout, track the new cycle separately. A previous best day should not be mixed with a new cycle, and the remaining buffer should not be counted as fresh cycle profit.
Included or Max: decide from required risk
More maximum contracts can be useful for a strategy that needs capacity. It can also make oversizing easier. Both versions retain the same headline target and loss allowance in the plan table.
If a position's planned stop exposure is $300, it consumes 10% of the initial $3,000 loss allowance. Increasing contracts until exposure becomes $900 consumes 30%, whether the order is permitted by the Included or Max capacity limit.
Compare capacity with a representative stop distance, expected slippage and the current floor. The cheaper version may already provide more capacity than the strategy needs.
Monthly budgeting and one-day completion
Prime's evaluation has no consistency percentage and can be passed in one trading day when all requirements are met. That is an allowed route, not a completion prediction. A slower evaluation may incur renewal charges.
Obtain the actual COMPARE renewal terms and record the next billing date. Do not assume that a discounted initial fee repeats indefinitely or that a paid reset changes the billing schedule without checking the current agreement.
Prime deserves comparison when EOD trailing and a flexible evaluation appeal to the trader. Its funded buffer and repeated cycle requirements should carry equal weight with the entry discount.
