A failed Funded Futures Family evaluation does not automatically stop the subscription. FFF says the account resets at the next billing cycle and billing continues unless it is manually cancelled; resetting also does not move the original renewal date. Keep the subscription clock visible

FFF’s billing-cycle guide states that the subscription starts when the account is registered and renews monthly from that date. A reset leaves that schedule in place. Passing stops the subscription automatically, and the guide describes no activation or monthly funded-account fee.

For a failed evaluation, however, the same page says the subscription continues until cancellation through the dashboard’s Accounts table, in the actions section. These are the central rules to record before the first purchase.

Use the date and time shown in the actual dashboard or invoice. “Monthly” should not be converted into an invented 30-day rule, and an article should not guess the provider’s timezone or exact payment-processing cutoff. Where the next charge timestamp is unclear, resolve it before the renewal becomes imminent.

Track three statuses independently

The trading account, subscription and payment method can each show a different state. A breached trading account may coexist with an active subscription. A successful cancellation request may need a confirmation page or email. Removing a shortcut, logging out or choosing not to trade is not evidence that billing has ended.

The template is intended to prevent a common administrative error: assuming that one event has automatically changed every other part of the account. Store an account ID rather than private payment-card information in your own tracking sheet.

A reset close to renewal needs two cost lines

Suppose an evaluation was registered on the fifth of a month and the trader considers a paid reset on the twenty-eighth. The reset does not create a new full month under the cited policy. The next subscription date stays tied to the existing billing cycle unless the trader passes or cancels.

Before choosing, list the reset charge and the upcoming renewal separately. Ask what the renewal will do to the account, what access the reset provides now and whether the account will remain active through the billing boundary. This example does not assume that a reset price receives COMPARE or that any unused amount is credited.

If the objective is to stop spending, a reset is not the same action as cancellation. If the objective is to continue the evaluation, cancellation may affect access in a way that should be checked before submitting it. The public billing page does not establish every effective-date or refund detail, so do not invent those outcomes.

Calculate the initial fee separately from future bills

The official Velocity page publishes the monthly base reference fees below. The table applies the current PFA COMPARE rate only to the initial eligible base evaluation charge. It excludes the Daily Payout Add-On and any separately priced service.

These are USD calculations against the regular reference, not a verified checkout quote. Other public offers can have different use counts or cover resets; their conditions do not automatically attach to COMPARE. Premier and Prime also have their own listed rates rather than a universal 80% reduction.

For a budget, use: initial payment + actual renewal charges + actual resets + separately charged options. Leave an unknown renewal rate as unknown until the invoice or order terms establish it. Multiplying $15.80 by an assumed number of future months would wrongly imply that the first discount repeats.

Make the continue-or-cancel decision before the deadline

A useful personal review asks how much more you are prepared to spend, how much evaluation work remains and whether the reason for the previous failure has changed. The amount already paid is a past cost. It does not make another renewal worthwhile by itself.

Set a reminder before the next known renewal with enough time to resolve questions through official support. This article does not prescribe a provider-specific notice period. Your reminder is an administrative safeguard, not proof of a cancellation deadline in the contract.

If you decide to cancel, use the official dashboard workflow described by FFF and retain the resulting confirmation. Check that it identifies the intended subscription, particularly when multiple evaluations are open. A cancellation on one account should not be treated as cancellation of every account unless the service explicitly confirms that scope.

Verify passing and cancellation outcomes

The published guide says passing stops the subscription automatically. After passing, verify that the account has completed the required transition and that the subscription status reflects it. A profit target touched intraday, a pending review or a screenshot of a profitable trade is not the same evidence as the confirmed pass state.

If a charge occurs unexpectedly, collect the original invoice, renewal date, account status and cancellation or pass confirmation. Contact official support with those references and request an explanation. Do not describe a refund as guaranteed: refund eligibility is a separate question governed by the applicable terms and facts.
