CFP is listed on PFA for up to 50% off FundedNext CFD purchases. At the maximum eligible rate, a Stellar 2-Step $25K account's $199.99 regular base fee becomes a calculated $100.00. The actual rate can be lower, and using a coupon does not change the funded news-profit calculation.
For the funded CFD accounts covered here, only 40% of profitable trades affected by the specified high-impact news window count, while losses count fully. That adjustment happens before estimating the account's normal performance reward. A strategy can show a profit on its unadjusted ledger and still have no distributable profit after the news calculation.
Official sources checked: 4 October 2026. This guide uses Stellar 2-Step for its pricing and reward-share example. It is separate from FundedNext Futures. See the active PFA CFP terms for offer scope; no fixed expiry has been confirmed.
Which trades enter the adjustment?
The official Stellar 2-Step news guide applies the funded adjustment to trades opened or closed during the five minutes before and after a listed high-impact event. Pending orders and stop-loss/take-profit triggers are included. Challenge phases are excluded from that profit adjustment.
The general CFD permissions page also expressly includes Stellar Instant and says the event must relate to the traded symbol. Thus “news trading allowed” should not be read as “all news profit counts in full.”
A simple timestamp check
For a hypothetical listed event at 14:30, flag the surrounding 14:25–14:35 window for review. An order entered at 13:00 can still be affected if it closes in that window. A pending order placed much earlier can be affected when it executes there.
Use the firm's calendar and platform timestamps. Local wall-clock time can be misleading when the platform and calendar use different offsets. Do not aim for a boundary second; execution delays and partial fills can make a timestamp-based plan unreliable.
Build the ledger before applying the reward share
Keep five fields for every trade: symbol, opening time, closing time, net result and news-window status. Record the event and its relationship to the symbol. Classify affected profitable trades separately from affected losses.
The following is an original hypothetical example, with results already net of the trading costs being modeled:
| Trade group | Unadjusted net result | Amount counted for the estimate |
|---|---|---|
| Unaffected profitable trades | +$2,800 | +$2,800 |
| Unaffected losing trades | −$600 | −$600 |
| Affected profitable news trades | +$1,500 | +$600 |
| Affected losing news trades | −$500 | −$500 |
| Total | +$3,200 | +$2,300 |
The news winners contribute $1,500 × 0.40 = $600. The $500 news loss is not reduced. Total adjusted profit is therefore $2,300, rather than $3,200.
Why netting the news trades first gives the wrong answer
The affected winners and losers net to $1,000 on the raw ledger. Multiplying that net figure by 40% would give $400, but the correct contribution in this example is $600 − $500 = $100. Reducing a loss by the same percentage would overstate eligible profit.
The practical worksheet is: unaffected net result, plus 40% of affected profitable results, minus the full affected losses. Avoid counting those losses twice if your unaffected subtotal already includes them.
The 40% adjustment and the reward share are separate layers
The Stellar 2-Step product page shows an 80% base reward share for the standard configuration. If the example's full $2,300 is otherwise approved and distributable, an 80% share would produce $1,840 before any separate charge or further adjustment. Applying 80% to the raw $3,200 would overstate the estimate by $720.
The calculation does not promise a reward. The trading cycle, verification, applicable loss limits and account agreement still determine eligibility. Optional reward packages can change the share and schedule, so use the package actually purchased.
A positive raw result can become a loss
Consider $2,000 of net losses from all non-winning-news activity and $3,000 of affected news winners. The raw total is +$1,000. After counting only $1,200 of those winners, adjusted profit is −$800.
That example illustrates why the order of operations matters. The detailed news policy describes cycle-end adjustment and special next-cycle treatment when the adjustment pushes the account below its starting balance. Do not assume a general reset entitlement for ordinary trading losses; follow the dashboard and account-specific policy.
Partial closes require whole-order awareness
The detailed policy says that if part of an order is closed in the relevant window, the entire order is affected. A journal that labels each partial close independently can understate the exposure to adjustment.
For example, a profitable order with one portion closed before the window and another portion closed inside it should be flagged as a whole order for policy review. Retain the order identifier and all partial-close timestamps. Do not assume the first portion is automatically exempt just because its execution time was earlier.
The same policy distinguishes related high-impact releases from unrelated or lower-impact events. Apply the firm's actual event-to-symbol mapping rather than treating every announcement anywhere as a reason to reduce profit.
Current entry-price examples with CFP
The official Stellar 2-Step page lists the following regular one-time base fees. All amounts are USD. The final and savings columns are maximum-50% scenarios only, not guaranteed quotes.
| Plan | Size | Regular price | Code | Discount scope | Savings at maximum | Final fee at maximum |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stellar 2-Step CFD | $25,000 | $199.99 | CFP | Up to 50% | $99.99 | $100.00 |
| Stellar 2-Step CFD | $50,000 | $299.99 | CFP | Up to 50% | $149.99 | $150.00 |
| Stellar 2-Step CFD | $100,000 | $549.99 | CFP | Up to 50% | $274.99 | $275.00 |
At the maximum rate, final fee = regular fee × 0.50, rounded to cents with half-cents rounded up. Savings equal regular fee less the rounded final amount. For a smaller eligible percentage, replace 50% with the rate actually applied. Add-ons, taxes, payment conversion and other charges remain separate. No public sale or second coupon is stacked in this table.

How to apply CFP without confusing fee and reward calculations
- Open the official FundedNext CFD product page and select the intended Stellar model and size.
- Choose the platform and reward package, checking regional eligibility and add-on costs.
- Read the funded news terms as well as the evaluation rules.
- Enter CFP before payment.
- Note the actual eligible discount percentage and complete order total. Use the table only if the maximum 50% rate applies.
- Keep the receipt and agreement. Before trading, create the news-event ledger separately from the purchase budget.
