FundedNext permits overnight and weekend holding on its current Stellar evaluation and funded accounts, but a swap-bearing position can consume loss room when financing is posted. The practical check is the instrument, platform, direction, volume and charging day together. Crypto and stock triple-swap days differ on Match-Trader, so copying a calendar from another platform can produce the wrong cost estimate.

Build the swap calendar for the actual platform
The official overnight-holding policy lists Wednesday triple swaps for forex and commodities, and Friday for indices. Crypto and stocks use Friday on MT4, MT5 and cTrader, but Wednesday on Match-Trader. The policy directs MT5 users to the instrument's Specification view for its swap information and says these costs count toward daily loss.
Record the platform beside the symbol rather than keeping a single firm-wide “triple-swap day” reminder. A Wednesday gold position and a Friday index position need different reminders. A crypto position moved between platforms needs its calendar checked again even when the displayed market name is familiar.
A useful private worksheet has these fields:
- Exact account and platform
- Symbol and contract specification
- Buy or sell direction and open volume
- Quoted swap unit and applicable currency
- Ordinary charge or credit, if stated
- Triple-charge day and next expected posting
- Remaining daily and overall loss room
Do not multiply an unlabeled platform figure by lots until the unit is understood. Some specifications express a value through points or another calculation basis. Keep the original value and unit so the platform statement can later be reconciled with the estimate.
Work through a hypothetical financing budget
Assume a verified specification produces an ordinary financing debit of $8 per lot per night for the position under consideration. At 0.75 lots, the ordinary estimate is $6. A triple posting would be $18. These are invented inputs to explain the arithmetic, not current FundedNext symbol rates.
If two other open positions each have a $4 expected debit, the projected combined cost is $26. A trader with $30 of remaining loss room has only $4 left after those assumed charges, before any adverse price movement, spread change or additional trading fee. The position may therefore be unsuitable to retain even when overnight holding is permitted.
A negative number in a cost worksheet should be labeled consistently. For example, either record a $26 expense and subtract it, or record a negative $26 cash adjustment and add it. Mixing both approaches would deduct the same charge twice. Reconcile the actual statement after posting rather than treating the forecast as final.
Check the daily reset separately
FundedNext's reset-time guide places the daily-loss reset at midnight server time, with GMT+3 during its daylight-saving schedule and GMT+2 otherwise. The dashboard countdown is the practical reference for the active account.
A financing calendar and a daily-loss calendar answer different questions. The first estimates when carrying a position may create a charge. The second identifies when the account's daily calculation changes. Record both rather than assuming that a local midnight reminder captures every relevant event.
For example, a trader checking positions at 23:40 server time should review the remaining room for the current day and the effect of keeping the same open exposure after reset. An earlier closed profit should not be casually carried forward as permanent daily-loss protection. The existing static-versus-trailing guide explains the wider loss framework; this calendar is a supplementary operating check.
Compare swap-free as a separate configuration
The swap-free policy describes challenge accounts without overnight swap charges and states a 10% higher price than regular accounts. The Stellar 1-Step guide separately lists a Swap-Free Add-On.
Obtain the actual selected configuration and charge before comparing it with expected carrying costs. CFP coverage of the regular base does not establish the discount treatment of that option. A fair comparison uses your estimated holding frequency and the quoted incremental cost, while keeping the account's other risk requirements in view.
Do not regard swap-free as permission to ignore overnight price gaps. Financing and market movement are different sources of loss. Also avoid assuming the same option, price or product scope for Stellar Instant merely because a challenge help page describes every challenge.
Regular entry fees and the maximum CFP scenario
The official Stellar 2-Step page lists these one-time regular USD fees. Every discounted amount is conditional on the selected eligible base receiving the full 50% rate.
| Plan | Size | Regular base | Code | Discount | Savings | Final base |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stellar 2-Step | $25,000 | $199.99 | CFP | Up to 50%; maximum shown | $99.99 | $100.00 |
| Stellar 2-Step | $50,000 | $299.99 | CFP | Up to 50%; maximum shown | $149.99 | $150.00 |
The payable base is rounded to the nearest cent first; savings equal the regular fee less that rounded result. Swap-free options, other add-ons, tax and payment costs are excluded. Do not apply CFP to an already reduced promotional price or assume stacking.
Choose the model, size, country and platform, inspect optional charges, enter CFP before payment, and check the accepted percentage and full total. Save the configuration with the receipt. No fixed expiry is confirmed.
The FundedNext CFD review provides broader account context. Prop Firm Audit may earn affiliate commissions. Accounts use simulated capital, fees can be lost, and neither a discount nor a financing forecast guarantees a reward.
