Quick answer
Slippage is the difference between an intended execution price and the recorded fill. It can occur on entry or exit and can improve or worsen the result. On FundedNext CFD, measure both sides of the transaction before estimating net risk. CFP is the listed up-to-50% coupon for the account purchase fee.
Coupon verification recorded on 13 October 2026. Code: CFP. Listed offer: up to 50% off FundedNext CFD base account fees. Verification covers the code and advertised offer in Prop Firm Audit's current active coupon record.
What FundedNext's execution guidance describes
The official slippage guide explains that available price and volume affect fills, especially around volatility, thin liquidity and market gaps.
A stop price is an instruction threshold, not a guarantee of an exact fill. A chart touching a price is also not complete evidence of the bid/ask available for the required transaction.
Separate intended entry, actual entry, intended exit and actual exit in the trade record.
Calculate entry slippage with a new example
Assume a hypothetical one-lot EURUSD buy order intended at 1.10500 fills at 1.10512.
| Entry comparison | Amount |
|---|---|
| Price difference | 0.00012 |
| Conventional pip difference | 1.2 pips |
| At an assumed $10 per pip | $12 |
For a buy, that higher entry price is unfavorable, all else equal. A fill below the intended buy price would have the opposite effect.
The example is an arithmetic illustration. It is not a measured FundedNext fill or a claim about typical execution.
Calculate the exit effect too
Suppose the intended stop exit is 1.10300, but the actual exit is 1.10280. That adds two pips of adverse exit difference, or $20 at the same assumed quantity.
Using the intended entry and exit gives a 20-pip planned price loss. Using the actual 1.10512 entry and 1.10280 exit gives 23.2 pips, or $232 before commission and other charges.
| Loss component | Illustrative amount |
|---|---|
| Planned price loss | $200 |
| Entry difference | $12 |
| Exit difference | $20 |
| Recorded price loss | $232 |
Costs should be added only if they are not already included in the net result being used.
Separate spread, slippage and chart differences
Spread is the difference between bid and ask. Slippage compares the relevant requested price with the actual fill. A chart from another feed can add a third difference.
For a useful review, save the platform quote side, order type, quantity, request time, fill time, price and any error message. Record the time zone as well as the visible timestamp.
Do not describe a screenshot from a different chart provider as proof of the executable price on the account. The FundedNext chart-feed guide explains this problem separately.
Plan loss room around realized execution
Use a reserve for costs and execution differences when comparing a position with the active loss boundary. Increasing a stop's distance after entry can increase both planned loss and the chance of consuming account room.
The FundedNext CFD review gives account-model context. Actual issued objectives remain the operational reference.
Apply CFP to the purchase
CFP is listed for up to 50% off CFD base fees. For a quoted base fee F and confirmed percentage d, calculate F × (1 − d). The maximum 50% scenario uses F × 0.50, with cents rounded for the order.
Select a CFD account on FundedNext, enter CFP before payment and retain the revised summary. The coupon page documents the offer. A purchase discount does not change slippage or guarantee a requested fill.
