Verified code: CFP.
Verified on 12 October 2026. Verified code: CFP.
Use the verified CFP code for 50% off eligible FundedNext Futures base purchases. Before buying a challenge to trade later, understand its inactivity clock: the official policy deactivates accounts after 30 consecutive calendar days without trades, including weekends. The counter increments at 4:01 p.m. Central Time, and an executed trading activity should be verified in the account history rather than inferred from a login.
Checked 4 October 2026. This guide covers the inactivity timeline, evidence to preserve and consequences of a long break. It is separate from the reset-versus-new-purchase cost guide. See the active futures coupon and full FundedNext Futures review.
How the clock works
The official inactivity policy starts counting from purchase if no trade has been placed by that day's 4:01 p.m. CT checkpoint. At least one trade resets the counter. It describes Challenge accounts as breached/deactivated and funded-stage FundedNext Accounts as inactive/deactivated when the limit is reached.
The recovery distinction is important: a Challenge reset can restore access under its reset terms; a FundedNext Account cannot be reset under this policy and requires a new purchase to continue. A new purchase is not a promise that previous progress, profits or funded status carry over.
Calendar days are different from sessions
A trader who thinks in market sessions can undercount a gap. A week away spans seven calendar days even if fewer sessions are available to trade. An illness, holiday or platform problem can also consume calendar time without creating an execution.
Use the actual inactivity indicator rather than calculating a deadline from memory. The public page does not fully explain every after-cutoff purchase scenario or exceptional closure. If the displayed count conflicts with your records, ask support while access remains available.
Read the right dashboard fields
FundedNext's dashboard guide separates CFD and Futures accounts and provides Active, Inactive and Breached filters. Within View Details, Overview includes inactivity status; Calendar shows daily results; History records trading activity. The Reset option appears for a breached Challenge.
A robust check uses these views together:
| View | Question it answers | Common mistake it avoids |
|---|---|---|
| Futures account list | Am I inspecting the correct product and account? | Looking at a CFD account or another challenge |
| Overview | What status and inactivity count does the firm show? | Relying on a private spreadsheet alone |
| History | Was a trade actually recorded, and when? | Treating a submitted but unfilled order as activity |
| Calendar | Which account day contains the result? | Assuming the device's local midnight controls |
| Transactions | Which purchase or reset produced this account? | Confusing a payment record with a trading event |
This is a recordkeeping approach, not a guarantee that any disputed account will be reopened.
A worked break-planning example
Suppose the dashboard currently shows 12 inactive days, and the trader plans to be away for 15 more calendar days. Simple planning arithmetic gives 27 days. That leaves little margin if the return is delayed, the platform is unavailable or there is no suitable market opportunity.
| Planning input | Days |
|---|---|
| Displayed inactive days now | 12 |
| Planned additional absence | 15 |
| Projected count before any new qualifying activity | 27 |
| Extra delay in a stress scenario | 4 |
| Stress-scenario count | 31 |
This illustration is not an exact deactivation forecast. The actual checkpoint, account history and dashboard determine the live count. Its lesson is to plan from the beginning of the entire idle period, rather than only from departure day.
Do not force a trade that violates your strategy merely to maintain access. Check whether the program fits the period you can genuinely trade. Any activity must still respect loss limits, contract caps and prohibited-practice rules.
No completion deadline does not mean no activity requirement
The official Flex page advertises no evaluation time limit and a one-time fee. Those describe completion timing and billing. They do not remove the separate inactivity policy.
For a long-term training plan, track three independent things: money spent on entry, progress toward passing, and days since activity. Strong progress does not stop an inactivity count; an account with little progress is not necessarily about to expire. Treat each metric according to the rule it actually measures.
Flex prices after CFP
The official Flex page displays the following regular prices alongside its own promotional prices. The calculation below uses the regular fee once and the verified CFP 50% offer, without stacking another promotion.
| Flex size | Regular USD | Code | Discount | Rounded saving USD | Calculated final USD |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $50K | $133.99 | CFP | 50% | $66.99 | $67.00 |
| $100K | $264.99 | CFP | 50% | $132.49 | $132.50 |
| $150K | $483.99 | CFP | 50% | $241.99 | $242.00 |
Final fees are rounded half-up to cents; savings are regular fee minus that rounded final amount. Checkout may allocate the half-cent differently. These are one-time base calculations, not tested orders; resets, options, taxes and other charges are separate. No fixed expiry is confirmed for the coupon.
How to use CFP and establish an account record
- Open FundedNext Futures and select the intended model and size.
- Check the published regular fee, options and futures-specific rules.
- Enter CFP before payment and inspect the final eligible base reduction.
- Save the receipt, issued terms and account identifier.
- In the dashboard, select Futures and review the new account's status and inactivity display.
- After genuine trading activity, verify the recorded execution and updated account indicator.
CFP lowers an accepted purchase fee. It does not extend an idle period, restore deactivated profits or waive reward qualification.
