GOAT CFD 1-Step Daily Reset Risk + Coupon Code AUDIT

Verified code: AUDIT gives 50% off all GOAT Funded Trader accounts. Verified on 12 October 2026, based on Yash R’s confirmation.

AUDIT is PFA's active 50% discount code for GOAT Funded Trader Forex/CFD base purchases. A $50K 1-Step GOAT account has a $314 regular fee and a calculated $157.00 fee after the code, saving $157.00. The trading issue to understand first is the daily reset: for new purchases, the firm takes the higher of balance or equity at its stated reset and applies a 3% loss allowance to that reference.

Floating profit at reset can raise tomorrow's loss floor above the original account balance. A position can then give back profit and reach the daily boundary even while the account remains profitable overall. This guide works through that specific risk rather than treating 3% as a fixed cash allowance forever.

Official rules and public selector checked: 4 October 2026. This is the CFD 1-Step model, not GOAT Funded Futures or an Instant account. PFA coupon terms list no confirmed fixed expiry.

Which daily-loss rule applies to a new 1-Step purchase?

The official 1-Step guide specifies 3% daily loss for accounts purchased from 1 August 2026. Older purchases can retain 4%. The calculation uses the higher balance/equity value at the firm's stated 5 PM EST reset. The overall limit remains 6% static, and the evaluation target is 10%.

The help page still contains an older 4% heading and example. Its dated note says to substitute 3% using the same method for newer purchases. Use the purchase-specific agreement and dashboard; do not copy the old percentage from the example.

Calculation worksheet

For a new account, record:

  1. Initial account balance, which determines the static overall floor.
  2. Balance at the daily reset.
  3. Equity at the same reset, including open positions.
  4. The higher of those two reset readings.
  5. Daily floor = higher reset reading × 0.97.
  6. Remaining room = current equity minus the higher applicable loss floor.

The last step matters because the daily and overall rules operate together. Leaving a margin above the dashboard limit is prudent: slippage, spreads and financing costs can consume the final dollars before an order closes.

Three reset examples on a $100K account

These are hypothetical calculations, not historical results or suggested risk targets. The static overall floor is $94,000 in each example.

Reset conditionBalanceEquityHigher reference3% of referenceNext daily floor
Flat at starting balance$100,000$100,000$100,000$3,000$97,000
Open profitable position$102,000$106,000$106,000$3,180$102,820
Open losing position$102,000$100,500$102,000$3,060$98,940

A profitable account can still breach the daily rule

In the second row, equity later falling to $104,000 leaves $1,180 above the daily floor. The displayed balance of $102,000 does not create a fresh $3,000 budget. If the floating profit disappears and equity returns to $102,000, it is already below the calculated daily floor.

This is the practical reason to review a position before the reset. A trader looking only at the original $100,000 or the closed balance could miss the change in the next session's boundary.

An open loss already uses part of tomorrow's room

In the third row, current equity of $100,500 is only $1,560 above the $98,940 floor. The nominal $3,060 daily allowance is measured from the reset reference, not added on top of the current equity after an existing loss. Record both the allowance and the remaining room in the trading journal.

Why 2-Step Standard calculations should stay separate

The 2-Step Standard guide uses a 5% daily percentage and a 10% static overall limit. Applying the same $106,000 reference to that model gives a $100,700 daily floor. The numerical method may look similar, but substituting another model's rate would overstate the 1-Step account's allowed loss.

The extra evaluation phase is also meaningful. Standard has 10% and 5% targets; 1-Step has one 10% target. A discount cannot make these risk structures interchangeable. Compare the GOAT Funded Trader firm guide before choosing a model.

Current 1-Step base fees with AUDIT

Regular prices were observed in the official account selector with 1-Step GOAT selected. All amounts below are USD. The selector's separate public promotion is not stacked with AUDIT.

Build a reset check that is useful during trading

Keep one row per account with the reset timestamp, balance, equity, daily floor and overall floor. Reconcile those readings against the dashboard before opening another position. Use the firm's displayed clock rather than assuming your local midnight matches its trading day; the payout eligibility clock is separately shown in UTC.

A useful alert is based on remaining equity room, not just closed losses for the day. For example, if remaining room is $1,180, a planned $1,000 stop leaves little margin for costs. Reducing exposure or waiting for a cleaner setup can be more sensible than treating the firm boundary as a daily spending target.

Passing also requires qualifying trading days. New funded accounts have their own day requirements, risk review and reward conditions. The current payout guide states a 3% processing fee after the applicable split and adjustments. A lower entry fee does not increase cash rewards or waive those conditions.
