GOAT Funded Trader now expressly permits copying between your own evaluation and funded accounts in either direction. Its official policy makes the change effective October 6, 2026 and includes earlier purchases. Third-party signals remain prohibited, so account ownership and the origin of trading decisions still matter.

Draw the source-to-follower map first
The official Using Signals policy permits same-owner GOAT account copying, including evaluation-to-evaluation and evaluation-to-funded in either direction. It continues to prohibit copying other people, signal services and trading groups, and requires independent decisions by the account holder. This guide concerns the Forex/CFD business and does not export that policy to GOAT Funded Futures.
A useful setup map has one source account and every receiving account on the same page. For each, identify the owner, provider, market, model, stage, platform and intended size method. The diagram can be a plain list; what matters is making every connection explicit before software is enabled.
| Proposed connection | Policy question to resolve |
|---|---|
| Your GOAT evaluation to your GOAT funded account | Within the newly explicit same-owner stage permission; check other model rules |
| Your GOAT funded account to your GOAT evaluation | Same ownership and independent decisions remain essential |
| A trading group’s signal to your own accounts | Same ownership of receivers does not make the outside signal permitted |
| A GOAT account to another provider | This policy alone does not establish the other provider’s permission |
For an external provider, obtain that provider’s own rules. Do not turn a same-owner GOAT permission into a universal cross-firm authorization. The source and destination each have conditions that need to be satisfied.
Owning the follower is not the same as originating the decision
Imagine a trader owns two receiving accounts but copies an entry from a paid signal channel. The ownership column is correct, while the signal-origin column is still a problem. Conversely, a trader independently decides an entry and uses software to transmit it to another permitted same-owner account; that is the type of distinction the official policy makes important.
Document the strategy and who controls it. Do not buy an account-management service on the assumption that the software’s “copy” label places it within this permission. A service can perform the same technical action while relying on someone else’s trading decisions.
If an arrangement is unclear, describe the actual flow to support. “Can I use a copier?” is less informative than explaining which account creates the decision, who owns it, where the orders go and who can change them. Provide account identifiers through official support channels without sending login credentials.
Equal lots can produce unequal account risk
A copier makes order distribution convenient, but account sizes, contract specifications and available loss room can differ. The source order’s quantity is not automatically suitable for every receiver.
Here is a hypothetical monetary-risk example using an invented instrument value of $10 per point per lot and a 20-point stop. One lot represents $200 before costs. That is 0.4% of a $50,000 nominal account and 0.8% of a $25,000 account. The same order has doubled the percentage exposure on the smaller account.
| Hypothetical receiving balance | One-lot planned loss | Percentage of nominal balance |
|---|---|---|
| $50,000 | $200 | 0.4% |
| $25,000 | $200 | 0.8% |
| $10,000 | $200 | 2.0% |
These are arithmetic illustrations, not GOAT instrument specifications or recommended risk levels. Use actual symbol values and each account’s current loss room. Different fills, commissions or existing positions can make the results diverge even when software submits the same instruction.
Keep the receiving model’s rules in view
The official 2-Step Standard guide and 1-Step guide are separate model sources. Check the one attached to each receiving account. Copying permission does not harmonize their targets, loss controls, qualifying days, reward limits or trading restrictions.
A practical configuration record includes the model, size multiplier, maximum intended exposure, permitted symbols and how protective orders are handled. Inspect whether a stop modification or partial close actually reaches each account. A source position can look correct while a follower has missed an update.
Use an appropriate practice environment to understand the copier’s failure behavior before relying on it for a paid program. Check disconnections, rejected orders, minimum lot rounding and symbol-name differences. Do not deliberately risk breaching a purchased account as a software test.
Reconcile executions, not just final balances
At the end of a session, compare ticket timestamps, size, entry and exit fills and rejected messages. A total balance comparison can conceal why two accounts differ. Keep enough detail to distinguish a normal fill difference from an order that never arrived.
If one account becomes ineligible, breaches or changes credentials, review the mapping before the next trade. Remove assumptions about which login is still active. This is ordinary operational hygiene, not a method to evade restrictions or continue trading after a firm has withdrawn access.
For the separate question of rewards after compliant trading, see the PFA GOAT payout guide. Payout review remains a distinct stage even when the copier arrangement is permitted.
AUDIT belongs in the acquisition-cost calculation
The official product selector was checked, but its current selected-model fee was not reliably identified in this retrieval. The following figures are hypothetical base fees, not current quotes for a particular plan.
| Hypothetical regular base USD | AUDIT saving at 50% | Calculated base USD |
|---|---|---|
| $100.00 | $50.00 | $50.00 |
| $250.00 | $125.00 | $125.00 |
| $500.00 | $250.00 | $250.00 |
Use base × 0.50 after obtaining the real order’s fee. Copier licenses, VPS costs, taxes and optional account upgrades are separate. A lower entry cost does not establish that the planned software or account combination is suitable. Confirm the map and rules first, then compare the payable amount.
Redeem the offer after checking the account

- Read the rules for that exact configuration and confirm regional eligibility before purchasing.
- Enter the applicable code before payment. Use one promotion; do not assume it stacks with a displayed sale.
- Check the base fee, applied saving, optional extras, tax and full order total. Later activation, reset or renewal charges are separate unless explicitly included.
- Save the receipt, account terms and any written clarification relevant to your setup.
