Verified code: AUDIT gives 50% off all GOAT Funded Futures accounts. Verified on 12 October 2026, based on Yash R’s confirmation.
Quick answer: GOAT Funded Futures applies a two-minute high-impact-news buffer to funded accounts and to Daily Payouts evaluations. EOD, Flex and 1-Day-Pass evaluations have no news restriction. Overnight and weekend holding are prohibited across all six account families. The exact session cutoff needs a separate check, especially for Instant Lite.
Official rules and prices checked: 10 October 2026.
Current Prop Firm Audit offer: code AUDIT gives 50% off all GoatFunded Futures accounts. Confirm the reduction in the checkout total before paying.
Futures rules, not CFD rules
GoatFunded Futures is a futures product. Traders deal with exchange-traded contracts, tick values, scheduled session breaks and contract expirations. A rule learned from a Goat Funded Trader CFD account should not be transferred to the futures program.
The firm's official drawdown and trading-rules collection groups its news, overnight, holding-time, reset and copy-trading guidance. Check the individual article linked from the account dashboard because plan and stage can matter.
Match the news rule to the account stage
The dedicated official news policy, updated 8 September 2026, supplies the current plan-by-stage distinction:
| Account or stage | Scheduled high-impact-news rule |
|---|---|
| EOD, Flex and 1-Day-Pass evaluation | No news restriction |
| Daily Payouts evaluation | Two-minute buffer before and after the release |
| EOD, Flex, 1-Day-Pass, Instant Classic and Daily funded | Two-minute buffer before and after the release |
| Instant Lite | Two-minute buffer under its own specifications |
The Instant Lite specifications confirm its news restriction separately. During a restricted window, opening positions, closing positions and triggering pending orders are prohibited. An existing position opened before the pre-news window may be held through the event. The dedicated policy says profits generated by executions inside the restricted interval are deducted at payout review.
Turn the release time into an operating window
For an illustrative 8:30 a.m. announcement, mark 8:28 through 8:32 in the same time zone as the calendar. Plan any discretionary exit before the pre-news window, or wait until the post-news window has passed. Holding permission does not make closing inside the restricted interval permissible.
Check working orders and bracket orders as well as the visible position. A pending order can trigger even if the trader does not click during the release. Do not remove protective controls solely to keep a trade open through news; decide ahead of time whether the position can be managed within the rules and the account's risk limits.
An older general strategies page describes broader news permission. Use the dedicated current news policy and the account's issued terms rather than assuming that older wording overrides a plan-specific restriction.
Overnight and weekend positions
The official overnight policy prohibits overnight and weekend positions across EOD, 1-Day-Pass, Flex, Instant Classic, Instant Lite and Daily. This applies before a later live-account transition as well.
The general flat-time guide says automatic flattening occurs at 15:55 CT, five minutes before the session ends. EOD, 1-Day-Pass, Flex, Classic and Daily plan pages agree with that time.
Instant Lite source conflict: its plan page instead says 4:45 PM EST, while the newer general guide includes every account type at 15:55 CT. These are not equivalent stated times. Confirm the current cutoff in the issued account rules or with official support before trading Lite near the close. Do not silently convert one time into the other or assume the later reading is safe.
Use an earlier personal flattening deadline after resolving the applicable cutoff. Automatic liquidation is a backstop; a remaining small contract or working order still creates avoidable operational risk.
Flat-position checklist
- Close every open position before the applicable cutoff.
- Cancel stops, targets and entry orders.
- Check every connected platform and account.
- Refresh the positions panel.
- Save a timestamped screenshot if the platform's status is unclear.
Do not rely only on a chart that looks flat. A working order can remain active after a position closes.
Why the last minutes are risky
Liquidity and spreads can change around settlement, market pauses and important announcements. A market exit placed at the last possible moment may fill worse than expected or fail during a connection interruption.
A safer personal procedure is to choose an internal cutoff earlier than the firm's hard cutoff. The gap provides time to cancel orders, reconnect a platform or contact support.
Minimum holding and unrealistic trading
The rules collection also links policies on minimum holding time and unrealistic practices. GoatFunded Futures' tick-scalping guidance should be reviewed by traders using very short holding periods.
A strategy can be technically profitable yet inconsistent with the firm's execution expectations. Before using automation or rapid entries, confirm:
- minimum holding requirements;
- restrictions on exploiting delayed prices;
- order frequency and cancellation behavior;
- copy-trading and signal rules;
- whether the same method is permitted after moving to live trading.
EOD purchase price with AUDIT
Purchase prices checked: 10 October 2026. The official EOD specifications show the regular references and promotional prices used below. All amounts are USD one-time account purchase fees. Savings = regular price × 0.50; final price = regular price − savings. Apply the discount once to the regular price; do not halve an already-discounted sale price.
| Account type | Account size | Regular price (USD) | Code | Discount | Savings (USD) | Final price (USD) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| EOD | $50,000 | $138.00 | AUDIT | 50% | $69.00 | $69.00 |
| EOD | $100,000 | $264.00 | AUDIT | 50% | $132.00 | $132.00 |
| EOD | $150,000 | $370.00 | AUDIT | 50% | $185.00 | $185.00 |
AUDIT gives 50% off all accounts. See the complete GOAT Futures price table for the other account families. Separate resets, upgrades and taxes are not included.
How to use code AUDIT
At checkout:
- Verify that the product is GoatFunded Futures.
- Select the intended plan and account size.
- Enter AUDIT.
- Confirm the 50% reduction on the regular base fee, without halving a displayed sale price again; check separate charges.
- Save the receipt and current terms.
The code changes purchase cost only. It does not widen a news buffer, extend an overnight cutoff or alter drawdown.
See the GoatFunded Futures review for the site record. For a broader operational checklist, read futures trading session cutoffs.
A daily operating routine
Before the session
Record the account model and phase, then apply the matching news rule. Check the economic calendar's time zone, mark restricted windows and verify the account's current flat time. Resolve any Lite cutoff discrepancy before the session. Confirm the contract month and platform connection.
During the session
Use alerts ahead of scheduled releases. Reduce or close exposure early enough to avoid rushed decisions. Monitor all linked orders, especially bracket orders after partial fills.
At the close
Flatten, cancel and verify before the applicable session cutoff on evaluation and funded accounts. A later live transition also has its own agreement; do not treat simulation as permission for overnight positions.
Bottom line
Plan and phase determine the news rule. Daily evaluation and funded trading have a restricted release window; the other evaluations are unrestricted, while funded accounts retain the buffer. Overnight and weekend holding are prohibited across the plans. Resolve the conflicting Lite flat-time wording before relying on a cutoff.
Code AUDIT gives 50% off all GOAT Funded Futures account purchase fees. It does not change any trading restriction.
