Lucid Trading Hedging Account Map + Coupon Code AUDIT

Lucid's published hedging examples distinguish the account boundary. Check where each position sits before combining strategies. Build an account-by-account position map before combining strategies. Verified code: AUDIT gives 40% off eligible LucidDaily base fees and 30% off LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDirect. That purchase discount does not grant additional trading permissions.

Verified on 12 October 2026. Verified code: AUDIT.

Start with the account boundary

The official hedging policy prohibits opposing identical contracts. Its examples permit mini/micro combinations and different contracts within one account, while prohibiting cross-account opposing mini/micro or correlated positions. The wider prohibition includes different users and firms. Equity indices, metals and energies are named correlation groups.

Do not interpret a permitted example as an exemption from position limits, drawdown or the rest of the account agreement. The specific policy wording should be checked for the actual setup before trading.

Make the position map readable

A useful private map has one row for each open position, with account reference, firm, programme, instrument, contract month, direction, quantity and strategy owner. Include working entry orders separately. A pending order may create a conflicting exposure when it fills, even if the current positions look straightforward.

Map fieldWhat it helps you notice
Account referenceWhether two legs really belong to the same account
Firm and programmeExposure that a single dashboard cannot show
Instrument and monthSimilar symbols or a stale contract selection
Direction and quantityOpposing exposure and unintended size
Working entry ordersA position that could appear after the next fill
Strategy or copierWhich process can change that exposure

This is an editorial control template, not a new reporting obligation imposed by Lucid. Use account nicknames or partial references if a screenshot might be shared; credentials have no place in it.

Three practical checks before an order

Imagine a trader uses one account for a discretionary index strategy and another for a systematic strategy. The first question is whether both can produce opposite exposure at the same time. Reviewing each strategy in isolation would miss that interaction. A shared position view makes it visible before the second entry is submitted.

Next, consider a trader who changes a workspace from a mini to its micro version. Check the active account as well as the symbol. A saved template can retain the old account selection. The same symbol change can therefore have a different policy consequence depending on where the order is routed.

Finally, consider a trader who closes one leg but leaves a working entry order behind. The map should show the remaining order until cancellation is confirmed. Clicking a close button does not prove that every route capable of opening another position has stopped. Check acknowledgements and the server-reported position state rather than relying only on the chart.

Supervise copiers and independent strategies together

Lucid's Other Trading Activities guide permits automated systems and trade copiers, while making traders responsible for errors and unintended outcomes. Its permission to use software does not resolve whether the combined exposure complies with another rule.

Before enabling a second strategy, document which account it can trade and whether another strategy can also act there. Review what happens after a rejected order, partial fill or reconnection. An execution difference can leave one follower holding a position after another account has exited.

These operational questions are useful even with manual trading. A mobile order and a desktop order can conflict if they are managed without one common inventory. The relevant control is a reliable view of the whole setup, rather than simply choosing more sophisticated software. See the automation control guide for the separate software checklist.

If the map shows an unresolved conflict

Pause additional entries and establish the actual position and order state. Preserve the account references, timestamps and instrument details needed to explain the event. If the policy is unclear for a proposed combination, ask official support before using it. A support question should describe the account boundary and instruments precisely, rather than asking whether hedging is generally allowed.

The official hedging page describes a notice and balance adjustment when accounts are flagged, while remaining drawdown does not reset. Repeated violations can cause breaches and restrictions. Do not budget on a warning being guaranteed or treat a reset as a new loss allowance. An explanation of an accidental event is useful evidence, not a promise that consequences will be waived.

Keep AUDIT savings separate from exposure

The current Lucid account selector separates base fees and paid options. The coupon page records the following base-only examples in USD:

Plan / account size / configurationRegular base price (USD)CodeDiscountSavings (USD)Final base price before options (USD)
LucidPro $25K, before options$108.00AUDIT30%$32.40$75.60
LucidDaily $25K Intraday, before options$79.00AUDIT40%$31.60$47.40

Paid no-DLL options, resets, platform/data services and taxes are separate unless expressly included. The purchase is one-time; no stacking or fixed expiry is assumed. A larger nominal account balance is not an equivalent amount of usable loss capacity.

  1. Choose the programme and exact options on Lucid's official site.
  2. Review the account agreement and proposed multi-account setup.
  3. Apply AUDIT and check the applicable base-fee reduction.
  4. Inspect all separate charges before payment.
  5. Keep the selected rules and order confirmation together.

Trading fees can be lost, simulated balances are not cash owned by the trader, and neither a discount nor a compliant checklist guarantees qualification or payouts.
