Lucid Trading currently allows news trading on LucidFlex, LucidPro and LucidDirect, but LucidDaily funded accounts prohibit trading around red-folder events. LucidDaily traders must be flat from one minute before until one minute after the restricted release. Prop Firm Audit records code AUDIT with different discounts by plan.

The plan name and stage matter. Do not transfer LucidFlex rules to LucidDaily.

What “allowed” does not guarantee

Permission to trade news does not guarantee:

  • A fill at the displayed price
  • Normal spreads or liquidity
  • Protection from slippage
  • Immunity from velocity logic
  • A payout if another rule is broken

Fast markets can cause gaps, partial fills and rejected orders. Position size should reflect that execution risk.

LucidDaily event checklist

  1. Identify red-folder releases in the account’s recognized calendar.
  2. Convert event time to the platform timezone.
  3. Stop opening new positions early enough to exit safely.
  4. Be flat at least one minute before the event.
  5. Cancel working entry orders.
  6. Wait until at least one minute after the event before trading.
  7. Confirm the account dashboard has no special notice.

Do not rely solely on automatic liquidation.

Flex, Pro and Direct planning

Although news trading is allowed, traders should still:

  • Reduce size when volatility expands
  • Allow for slippage beyond the stop trigger
  • Check contract-specific liquidity
  • Avoid sizing directly against the loss threshold
  • Confirm platform stability
  • Record the event and fills

These plans generally use EOD loss structures, but intraday equity can still breach an active hard threshold.

AUDIT by plan

PlanRecorded AUDIT offer
LucidDaily40% off
LucidFlex30% off
LucidPro30% off
LucidDirect30% off

Apply the percentage for the selected plan. A 40% LucidDaily offer does not establish a 40% discount for Flex, Pro or Direct. Confirm the final checkout total.

The coupon changes price only. It does not remove the news window or protect against execution losses.

Review the Lucid Trading audit and the official Lucid knowledge base.

Bottom line

LucidFlex, LucidPro and LucidDirect currently allow news trading. LucidDaily funded accounts have a strict red-folder flat window. Use AUDIT for 40% off Daily or 30% off Flex, Pro and Direct after checkout confirmation.
