Lucid may consider a refund for an account that has never been traded, but approval is discretionary. Its published policy excludes traded accounts, even if only one trade was placed. Check the account and receipt before placing a test trade when the purchase configuration appears wrong.
Verified code: AUDIT gives 40% off eligible LucidDaily base fees and 30% off Pro, Flex and Direct.

Identify the first-trade boundary
The official refund and liability policy distinguishes unused accounts from accounts with any trading activity. It also excludes eligibility following violations or disqualification and reserves discretion for exceptional circumstances. This is a summary of the firm's published position, not a conclusion about any statutory rights that may apply in a trader's jurisdiction.
For an unused purchase, record the order number, program, account size, chosen platform and risk settings. Then compare them with the account actually delivered. A wrong platform choice, mistaken configuration and delayed provisioning are different issues; explain the actual problem without labeling every issue a refund entitlement.
A useful support request states whether any order executed, when the mismatch was noticed and which remedy is being requested. If the account has not been traded, keep it that way while seeking clarification. A trader who submits a small exploratory trade may move into a different category under the policy regardless of whether that trade earns or loses money.
Keep three records separate
| Record | What to retain | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Purchase | Receipt and selected settings | What was ordered and paid |
| Account activity | Original execution history | Whether trading actually occurred |
| Support | Request and response timestamps | What the firm agreed or declined |
An empty chart is weak evidence of an unused account. Check the account history and any connected copier rather than relying on what one screen currently shows. Preserve original files; do not edit a statement to omit an accidental execution. This checklist is an editorial way to organize evidence, not an extra Lucid rule or a guarantee of approval.
A refund, a reset and a replacement answer different questions
The simulated account fee guide describes paid evaluation resets returning the account to its initial conditions. It says these resets are separate purchases, with no automatic monthly restart. A reset restores an eligible evaluation; it does not reverse the original payment.
Consider a trader who bought Pro with an unintended option but has not traded. Asking about correction or refund before using the account preserves a clearer factual record. A different trader has already breached an evaluation. That trader should inspect the available reset terms and cost, without assuming the unused-account refund discussion applies.
Do not buy another account solely because a support request has not yet been answered. First establish whether the original account will remain open, whether a correction is possible and whether any promised credit has conditions. Otherwise two purchases can remain chargeable while the trader expected one to replace the other.
Technical problems need an incident record
Lucid's liability policy also addresses individual connection, platform, copier and third-party software problems, along with slippage. It does not promise compensation for those incidents. Save the account ID, instrument, timestamp and time zone, error message and relevant execution history when asking the firm to investigate.
Describe an observed failure rather than inferring its cause from a losing trade. A local internet interruption and an exchange-wide problem require different evidence. Do not promise that a screenshot will establish reimbursement. Payment disputes and legal rights are outside this operational guide; never misrepresent an authorized transaction as fraud.
Entry price and verified code
See the current PFA coupon terms. AUDIT applies at 40% on Daily and 30% on Pro, Flex and Direct. Current numeric base prices for the exact configurations could not be independently verified from the accessible official selector, so this guide uses formulas rather than a payable quote. Select the account size and options before substituting the confirmed base fee P.
| Plan | Account size | Regular base price | Code | Discount | Savings | Calculated final base |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LucidDaily | Selected size | Confirm P on the official order | AUDIT | 40% | P × 0.40 | P × 0.60 |
| LucidPro, LucidFlex or LucidDirect | Selected size | Confirm P on the official order | AUDIT | 30% | P × 0.30 | P × 0.70 |
Use the official account selector to obtain the selected fee. Paid no-DLL options, resets, tax and other separate charges are outside these formulas. No Black or Maxx discount is established here. Do not stack another promotion or assume a fixed expiry.
Before paying
Select the exact plan, size, platform and risk options on the official site. Enter AUDIT before payment and compare the accepted reduction with the correct row. If the order differs, ask the firm to explain that configuration before buying. Keep the receipt and the rules issued for the account. A discounted fee does not change qualification or withdrawal conditions.
