LucidDaily requires profit above a protected buffer before a payout can be requested. The minimum request is $500, so merely reaching the buffer is not enough. Use the buffer balance plus the intended request to calculate a starting balance requirement, then check all other account conditions.
Prop Firm Audit records AUDIT for 40% off LucidDaily purchases. That discount reduces a covered purchase fee; it does not reduce the payout buffer. Official rules reviewed September 18, 2026. This article covers the simulated futures program.
Buffer balance versus withdrawable profit
Lucid lists buffer balances of $26,100, $52,100, $103,100 and $154,600 for its four account sizes. Money inside the buffer cannot be requested. A positive net trading result since the previous payout is also required. Source: LucidDaily payout policy.
Keep three amounts separate: the starting account label, the protected balance and the amount above that balance. A 50K label does not mean a trader can withdraw any balance above $50,000.
First-request calculator
The following arithmetic adds a $500 request to each published buffer. It is a planning threshold, not a promise of approval.
| Account size | Protected buffer balance | Balance supporting $500 above buffer | Profit above starting size |
|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $26,100 | $26,600 | $1,600 |
| 50K | $52,100 | $52,600 | $2,600 |
| 100K | $103,100 | $103,600 | $3,600 |
| 150K | $154,600 | $155,100 | $5,100 |
Amount above buffer = current balance − buffer balance
If the result is negative, treat available excess as zero. Do not confuse the amount needed to reach the buffer with the additional amount needed for a minimum request.
Worked 50K example
Assume a 50K account has a balance of $52,450. Subtracting its $52,100 buffer leaves $350. The account has profit, but this arithmetic does not support a $500 request.
At $52,900, the excess is $800. Requesting $500 would leave $52,400 if the account debit equals the request and there are no other balance changes. That is $300 above the protected buffer.
| Balance before request | Excess above $52,100 | Hypothetical request | Remaining balance | Remaining excess |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $52,450 | $350 | None in this example | $52,450 | $350 |
| $52,900 | $800 | $500 | $52,400 | $300 |
| $53,200 | $1,100 | $700 | $52,500 | $400 |

A request is not the same as cash received
Lucid publishes a 90% trader share. For a hypothetical $500 gross approved payout subject to that split, the trader's share would be $450 before any separate payment adjustments. Check how the dashboard labels the request and deduction fields instead of treating gross and net amounts as interchangeable.
Requests cannot be edited or canceled after submission. Lucid also warns that trading into the buffer before processing may cause a request to be denied. Those conditions make the final balance check important. See the official payout instructions.
Use AUDIT without mixing purchase savings and payout money
The recorded Lucid offer assigns 40% to Daily, while Flex, Pro and Direct have a separate 30% offer.
LucidDaily calculated purchase price = covered price × 0.60
| Hypothetical LucidDaily purchase price | AUDIT saving at 40% | Calculated amount paid |
|---|---|---|
| $100 | $40 | $60 |
| $150 | $60 | $90 |
| $200 | $80 | $120 |
These are calculator inputs, not freshly verified account quotes. Select the actual size, platform and configuration, enter AUDIT, and confirm the reduction before paying. Checkout acceptance was not tested for this article.
A $60 purchase saving is money not spent on the purchase. It is not $60 of trading profit, does not increase the account balance and cannot be counted toward the $500 minimum request.
Check the configuration before committing
LucidDaily lets buyers choose evaluation EOD or intraday drawdown and whether to include a daily loss limit. All Daily funded accounts use intraday drawdown, regardless of the evaluation choice. The settings cannot be changed on an active account. Source: LucidDaily customization.
Before buying, write down the configuration, accepted coupon price and buffer for the selected size. Before withdrawing, record the current balance, requested amount, expected debit and remaining room. Keeping those two worksheets separate prevents a discounted entry fee from obscuring the later payout requirements.
