The5ers Futures Overnight Size + Discount Code AUDIT
Plan Swing overnight exposure at The5ers Futures, distinguish session limits from overnight limits, and use AUDIT for 10% entry savings.

Quick answer
The5ers Futures Swing permits overnight holdings of up to one mini or ten micro contracts on the $25K and $50K sizes. That is a separate overnight cap, not permission to carry the full daytime allocation through the close. Day Trade does not allow overnight positions, and neither program permits weekend holding.
Verified code: AUDIT — 10% off the futures entry fee. The official public $25K table shows $59, producing $5.90 savings and a calculated $53.10 base fee. The coupon does not expand overnight permissions. Coupon Verified on 12 October 2026.
Official sources checked: 6 October 2026. This guide focuses on reducing exposure before the session boundary. It does not substitute the copy-trading account-cap guide or the payout checklist.
Read the overnight limit separately
The dedicated overnight contract FAQ, updated 30 September, states one mini or ten micros for $25K and $50K. The holding-policy FAQ distinguishes Swing from Day Trade and requires closing before the weekend.
Do not interpret “one mini or ten micros” as one mini plus ten micros. Nor should a trader assume every combination of different instruments is authorised merely because a personal spreadsheet converts them to a common unit. For a mixed position, obtain the program’s explicit interpretation rather than inventing a conversion exception.
| Situation | Operational conclusion |
|---|---|
| Swing with one mini | Within the published overnight quantity, subject to all other rules |
| Swing with ten micros | Within the published overnight quantity, subject to all other rules |
| Swing with two minis | Reduce before the relevant cutoff rather than carry both |
| Day Trade with an open position | Close it; Swing permission does not apply |
| Any program approaching Friday close | Close positions before the required weekend boundary |
This table is a planning aid, not approval of a particular order or trading strategy.
The published clock wording needs clarification
The market-hours FAQ lists a 4:00–5:00 PM CT maintenance break, but also uses 4:50 PM CT for reducing or closing positions. The older overnight page refers to 4:50 PM CET while also saying ten minutes before close. Those statements are not a reliable basis for one universal local-time alarm.
The quantity rule is clear; the exact cutoff presentation is inconsistent. Use the current platform session schedule and obtain clarification from the firm for the actual instrument and date. This article deliberately does not translate the conflicting times into an IST deadline or promise that a particular clock minute is safe.
For an operational calendar, record the exchange session, the platform’s time zone, the firm’s confirmed cutoff and the date of that confirmation. Keep early-close and holiday sessions separate. An ordinary weekday alarm should not silently override a special session notice.
A reduction workflow without last-minute assumptions
Imagine an illustrative Swing trader has two mini contracts open during the session. The daytime allocation and overnight cap are different questions. Before the verified cutoff, the trader would need to bring the intended carry within the overnight restriction, rather than assuming that an order submitted at the boundary will fill immediately.
A practical sequence is to review open positions, decide what will be closed, submit the reduction with time to reconcile it, and check the resulting position size. Review pending orders as well: an order that later fills can rebuild exposure after the reduction.
Keep execution and intention separate
A planned reduction is not a completed reduction. The platform may show a working order, a partial fill or a rejection. Write down the final position, not just the order you attempted to send. If connectivity fails, follow the firm’s documented support process; do not assume an offline screen means the position has disappeared.
This same distinction matters when multiple windows or account tabs are open. Confirm the account identifier and program before sending an order. The BlackArrow account-selection guide covers the separate risk of trading the wrong account.
Contract count does not measure all overnight risk
One mini can still experience a substantial gap. The overnight cap is a program boundary, not a statement that the allowed maximum suits every balance or strategy. Record the stop plan, potential gap exposure and remaining account loss room independently.
Reducing position count can lower exposure, but it does not make the remaining trade risk-free. A protective order may execute away from its trigger in a fast or gapping market. The possibility of carrying a position also does not remove the account’s existing drawdown or reward rules.
For a useful journal, separate three entries: the permitted maximum, the quantity actually held, and the exposure you intended to accept. This avoids treating a firm’s ceiling as a target that must be used fully.
Purchase fee and continuing costs
The official futures program page currently exposes the $25K base row below. This is a USD entry-fee calculation, not the trading balance or a guarantee of payout eligibility.
| Plan configuration | Size | Regular price | Code | Discount | Savings | Calculated final price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Published futures $25K base row | $25,000 | $59.00 | AUDIT | 10% | $5.90 | $53.10 |
Use the selected Swing or Day Trade configuration’s displayed fee where it differs. No other size is assigned an invented price here. Trading commissions and separate order charges are outside the entry-fee calculation. The official commission guide explains per-side futures costs; those costs should remain in the trade ledger rather than be confused with the coupon saving.
Apply AUDIT and prepare for the first close
- Choose the futures program, intended style and available account size.
- Read the overnight and weekend restrictions for that style.
- Enter AUDIT before payment and retain the itemised order.
- Confirm the actual instrument cutoff and platform clock before trading.
- Prepare a close/reduction checklist that includes pending orders and final fills.
- Recheck the account after the boundary rather than relying only on a notification.
