The5ers High Stakes Profitable Days: Midnight Equity Rules Explained
Understand The5ers High Stakes 0.5% profitable-day test, midnight balance and equity calculation, phase requirements and AUDIT 10% entry savings.

Quick answer
The5ers High Stakes requires three qualifying profitable days in each evaluation step. A green day qualifies only when its defined result reaches at least 0.5% of the initial account balance. The midnight equity check means closed profits alone may not establish a qualifying day.
Coupon code: AUDIT. PFA lists 10% off The5ers entry fees. See the The5ers coupon page.

The profitable-day calculation
The official profitable-day FAQ uses:
Qualifying result = lower of midnight balance or midnight equity − previous day's balance.
Required result = initial balance × 0.005.
The input called initial balance determines the threshold. The prior day's balance determines the starting point for the daily result. Mixing those inputs can produce a plausible number that measures the wrong thing.
For example, an account that started at $25,000 requires a $125 qualifying result. Its threshold does not become $127.50 merely because the previous closing balance has risen to $25,500.
Thresholds at different starting sizes
The following values are arithmetic applications of the 0.5% definition:
| Initial account balance | Daily qualifying threshold |
|---|---|
| $2,500 | $12.50 |
| $5,000 | $25.00 |
| $10,000 | $50.00 |
| $25,000 | $125.00 |
| $50,000 | $250.00 |
| $100,000 | $500.00 |
These amounts define qualification. They are not a recommended daily profit target or a reason to enter additional trades late in a session.
When a winning closed balance does not qualify
Assume an original $25,000 account and a previous-day balance of $25,000. Here are invented midnight records:
| Record | Midnight balance | Midnight equity | Calculated daily result | Qualifies? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A | $25,160 | $25,090 | $90 | No |
| B | $25,160 | $25,140 | $140 | Yes |
| C | $25,110 | $25,200 | $110 | No |
Record A has $160 of closed balance growth, but the lower equity produces a $90 result. Record C has higher equity than balance, but the lower balance still controls. The calculation consistently uses the lower figure.
The exercise explains why an account dashboard can show a winning trading day without increasing its qualifying-day count.
Track days separately from the profit target
The High Stakes program page lists three profitable days for each evaluation step. A large single-day gain therefore does not replace the required day count.
Use separate fields for stage profit target and qualifying days. After a stage change, start a new stage record instead of treating the first stage's completed days as progress in the second stage.
A compact record needs the phase, date, previous-day balance, midnight balance, midnight equity, calculated result and recorded qualification. Saving those inputs makes a discrepancy easier to explain than a screenshot of total profit alone.
Only use figures from the same account and same day boundary. Mixing a local calendar date with a later platform snapshot can shift the result into the wrong day.
Entry fee after AUDIT
The public High Stakes page currently displays a $19 $2.5K entry fee. Applying the site-listed rate produces:
| Entry shown on the public page | Regular base fee | Code | Discount | Calculated base fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| High Stakes $2.5K | $19.00 | AUDIT | 10% | $17.10 |
Choose High Stakes and the intended size, enter AUDIT in the coupon field, apply it and complete the selected order. The fee reduction is separate from the profitable-day requirement.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
The official definition requires at least 0.5% of initial balance, calculated using the lower of midnight balance and midnight equity minus the previous day's balance.
Only if the calculated result meets the 0.5% threshold. A positive result below that threshold is not a qualifying profitable day.
Yes. Midnight equity enters the calculation, so floating losses can reduce the result below the threshold even when closed balance shows enough profit.
PFA lists AUDIT for 10% off entry fees. Applying that rate to the public $19 High Stakes $2.5K base fee gives a calculated $17.10 base price.
