TradeifyFX permits trade-management EAs and self-created automated EAs, but it prohibits purchased or shared autonomous bots and third-party signal execution. Self-built algo users must be able to explain the strategy and may be asked for source code. Verified code: AUDIT provides 50% off eligible base account fees.

Classify the tool by what it actually does
The current TradeifyFX FAQ distinguishes software that assists a trader's own entry decision from software that independently decides to enter. A commercial tool can qualify as an allowed trade manager, while a commercial autonomous strategy is prohibited. Price, branding and the word EA alone do not decide the category.
| Tool or workflow | Current documented treatment |
|---|---|
| Trade manager assisting your chosen trade | Allowed, including purchased managers |
| Automated EA you created yourself | Allowed subject to explaining its strategy and possible source review |
| Off-the-shelf or shared autonomous EA | Prohibited |
| Third-party signals executed automatically | Prohibited |
| Copier between your own TradeifyFX accounts | Permitted, subject to other rules |
A source-file request is a meaningful condition. Renaming someone else's bot or changing a few inputs does not establish that you created its strategy. Where authorship or a hybrid tool's behavior is uncertain, describe it accurately to official support before enabling it.
Three practical classification examples
In the first hypothetical setup, a trader decides to buy, places a stop on the chart and clicks an execution button. The tool calculates position size and later manages a trailing stop. That resembles the documented trade-manager category because the trader chose the entry.
In the second, a downloaded package watches moving averages and opens a trade whenever they cross. The trader installed it and selected its risk setting, but the package makes entry decisions by itself. Those setup clicks do not convert a third-party algo into a manual trade manager.
In the third, the trader wrote the entry logic and can explain its assumptions, risk controls and exit behavior. That fits the conditional self-created category in the current policy. It still must comply with execution and conduct restrictions; authorship alone does not approve every strategy it can run.
These are classification examples, not approval of any named product. Keep a description of what triggers an entry, what can change an open trade, and who wrote the decision logic. A simple feature list is often more useful than a vendor's marketing label.
Allowed management features can still create restricted actions
The official Trade Pilot guide describes a manager supplied by TradeifyFX that requires the trader's click to open a position. Its management features can act afterward, including break-even, trailing and partial-profit operations.
For funded and Live accounts, those actions remain subject to the news rule. The guide warns that automatic management can modify or close a position while the trader is away. A permitted tool therefore needs an event-aware operating routine. The fact that an instruction came from software does not make it outside the account's restrictions.
Before a restricted window, inspect open positions, pending entries and active management features together. Do not disable protection and leave unmanaged exposure simply to avoid an automated modification. Plan a compliant session in advance, using the firm's current event calendar and account-specific instructions.
Check behavior after an update
A software update can change defaults, order types or sizing inputs. Record the version used and inspect its behavior in a suitable non-funded test environment before relying on it. This is an operational recommendation rather than a TradeifyFX certification process.
Test scenarios should include a rejected order, partial fill, reconnection and a restarted terminal. The intended trade size and the eventual filled size can differ. A log should preserve both, rather than assuming the tool's displayed preview proves what happened on the account.
Own-account copying does not remove each account's controls
The trading-rules overview permits copiers between a trader's own TradeifyFX accounts. It prohibits unrelated-user copying, third-party management and cross-account opposing exposure used to manufacture performance.
Copying a compliant entry from one account does not establish that the receiving account has the same balance, loss room or stage. A Daily evaluation and a funded account can have different restrictions. Review each receiver independently before allowing it to accept orders.
For a hypothetical pair of accounts, one might have $600 of remaining risk room while the other has $220. Copying an order with an estimated $300 loss equally to both would fit the first planning figure and exceed the second. This arithmetic does not prescribe a safe amount; it shows why a fixed-size copier can create asymmetric risk.
Be ready to explain the strategy in your own words
The official KYT and fair-play guide says self-built algo users may need to walk through the logic. Users of ordinary trade managers need to explain their trading decisions rather than the manager's code.
Keep a concise strategy record: the conditions that justify entry, the reasons for exit, how position size is chosen, and what causes the system to stop. Preserve the actual source and configuration privately. Do not place account passwords, authentication tokens or unrelated personal data in a support explanation.
An invitation to review is not itself evidence of wrongdoing. Answer the specific request through the verified official channel, and distinguish code authorship from a claim of guaranteed profitability. Backtests, simulated results and personal expectations do not establish future rewards.
Base purchase costs after AUDIT
The official price guide supplies these regular USD fees. PFA's AUDIT coupon applies a single 50% reduction.
| Plan | Size | Regular fee | Code | Discount | Savings | Calculated base fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Classic | $5,000 | $55.00 | AUDIT | 50% | $27.50 | $27.50 |
| Daily | $10,000 | $89.00 | AUDIT | 50% | $44.50 | $44.50 |
| Direct | $10,000 | $119.00 | AUDIT | 50% | $59.50 | $59.50 |
These are one-time base purchases. Paid upgrades, external software, trading charges, swaps and tax are separate. No stacking or new checkout test is claimed. Avoid using the internally conflicting Direct $25K price on that source page as a settled quote.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions

Purchased trade managers are allowed under the current FAQ when they help size, place or manage trades you decide to take. Purchased autonomous entry strategies remain prohibited.
The current rules permit own-account copiers. Each account must still satisfy its own risk, stage and conduct rules; unrelated-user copying and cross-account hedging are prohibited.
No. Its automatic management actions can still close or modify positions during a restricted window. The tool does not create a news-rule exemption.
The regular $89 Daily $10K fee becomes a calculated $44.50 after the PFA 50% AUDIT offer, before separate charges.
