Traders Launch Commission Budget + Discount Code COMPARE

Traders Launch's official FAQ quotes $0.50 per contract per side, making a fully opened and closed contract $1.00 in commissions. Count contract sides rather than order tickets when estimating costs, and reconcile the actual account statement before treating gross trading profit as progress. Verified code: COMPARE is the owner-attested 30% offer on eligible base evaluation purchases. It does not establish a discount on trading commissions.

Verified on 12 October 2026, based on Yash R's confirmation of the stated coupon offer.

Checked 8 October 2026. The current COMPARE coupon page records the purchase offer. The examples below are arithmetic illustrations using the official FAQ's commission answer, not personal execution results or guaranteed account outcomes.

One ticket can represent several charged contracts

A platform may display one order for five contracts. The commission calculation uses the five contracts on entry and the five contracts on exit, rather than counting two tickets. At the published rate, that is ten contract sides multiplied by $0.50, or $5.00 for the completed position.

Partial exits do not necessarily change that arithmetic. If five contracts are opened together, two are closed first and the remaining three later, the completed sequence still contains five opening and five closing contract sides. A subsequent additional entry creates new charged sides and should be recorded separately.

Completed activityEntry sidesExit sidesCommission at $0.50 per side
One contract, one round trip11$1.00
Five contracts, one round trip55$5.00
Two contracts, ten round trips2020$20.00
Four contracts, twenty round trips8080$80.00

These examples assume every listed position is fully closed. With an open position, the incurred entry commission and a possible future exit cost should not be confused. Use the statement to establish which charges have actually posted.

Convert gross results into a cost-aware record

For an illustrative session with $240 gross trading profit and forty completed contract round trips, commission is $40 and the resulting amount after that commission is $200. Any additional statement charges or execution differences must be considered separately. This simple example does not certify the firm's exact dashboard accounting method.

A practical ledger records gross realised result, posted commission, any other posted fee, and the balance change. Compare the sum with the platform statement. If one display shows $240 and another $200, first establish whether they use different gross/net definitions before assuming a missing payment or incorrect trade.

Do not subtract the same commission twice. Some exports already include it in a net P&L column. Label the source columns explicitly and keep one calculation path. When a figure remains unreconciled, retain the timestamp and transaction reference for official support.

Why costs matter near the evaluation target

The official account cards list a $2,000 target for the Standard $100K route. Consider a purely illustrative ledger with $2,050 gross realised profit and $80 total commissions. If those are the only deductions, net profit is $1,970, leaving $30 to reach a $2,000 net benchmark.

This is a budgeting illustration, not a ruling about which exact field triggers Traders Launch's pass decision. Confirm the account's official progress and pass status. A trader should not declare an evaluation passed because a hand-built gross total crossed the advertised target.

Other evaluation conditions remain separate. The futures rules require at least three trading days and a best day no greater than 40% of total profits, alongside the target and risk limits. Paying commission does not waive those checks. Nor should a trader add unnecessary transactions simply to create activity or reshape statistics.

Compare turnover with the remaining risk allowance

Commission is particularly visible when a strategy makes frequent small trades. Suppose two hypothetical approaches each produce $120 before commission. One completes ten one-contract round trips, leaving $110 after the quoted commission; the other completes sixty, leaving $60. This comparison describes only fees. It does not establish that either approach has better execution, risk or future returns.

The useful question is whether the strategy's realistic results still make sense after all costs and losing trades. A large nominal balance can distract from a much smaller permitted loss allowance. Use the actual remaining room shown for the account rather than dividing fees by the headline account size.

Reducing cost does not justify violating conduct rules. The rules page separately restricts hedging and HFT-style behaviour. The commission rate is a billing fact, not a permission to trade every technically available order pattern.

Reconcile a session in five steps

  1. Export or review the official fills for the intended account and date range.
  2. Count executed contract quantities on both entries and exits.
  3. Compare the resulting commission estimate with posted charges.
  4. Reconcile gross realised result, fees and the actual balance movement.
  5. Check the dashboard's official progress, risk limits and account status.

Take care with positions opened before the selected date range and closed inside it. Counting only complete trades in the current export can omit an entry charge that posted earlier. Likewise, a session crossing midnight may be split by a calendar-date report. Use consistent reporting boundaries rather than changing the formula until totals happen to match.

Keep COMPARE on the purchase line

The Standard $100K 80% reward-share configuration is listed at a $159 one-time base fee. Applying the owner-attested 30% offer gives $47.70 savings and $111.30 before separately charged items. Different profit-share settings have their own prices and should not be substituted into that row.
