Rules compared
| Account | Profit target | EOD drawdown | Starting position size |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard 100K | $2,000 | $1,000 | 2 minis or 20 micros |
| Standard 200K | $4,000 | $2,000 | 4 minis or 40 micros |
| Standard 300K | $6,000 | $3,000 | 6 minis or 60 micros |
| Legacy NYC 100K | $2,000 | $1,000 | 5 micros |
| Legacy NYC 200K | $3,000 | $1,000 | 1 mini or 10 micros |
| Legacy NYC 300K | $5,000 | $2,000 | 2 minis or 20 micros |
Both families use end-of-day drawdown that locks at the starting balance. Standard plans advertise a 22-hour trading session. Legacy NYC trading is limited to 9:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. ET, and Traders Launch says those plans are intended to be phased out, although no retirement date is published.
Which plan has the better target-to-drawdown ratio?
Divide target by drawdown:
- Standard 100K, 200K and 300K: 2.00
- Legacy NYC 100K: 2.00
- Legacy NYC 200K: 3.00
- Legacy NYC 300K: 2.50
The 200K Legacy NYC account is cheaper, but it requires $3 of target profit for every $1 of stated drawdown. Price alone therefore does not measure evaluation difficulty.
Funded-stage points
Traders Launch advertises an 80% share on these plans, no funded consistency rule, daily payout access under its current buffer conditions, no payout cap and no activation fee. The evaluation still uses a 40% consistency rule and at least three trading days.
The account is simulated unless a separate live arrangement says otherwise. Coupon code COMPARE changes purchase cost only; it does not change drawdown, payout review, position limits or consistency.
How to choose
Choose Standard when broader session access and a larger starting position allowance matter more than the lower legacy purchase price. Consider Legacy NYC only if its restricted session fits your schedule and its target-to-drawdown ratio fits your risk plan.
Review the Traders Launch profile and the official Traders Launch futures page before checkout.
Bottom line
Legacy NYC costs less after code COMPARE, while Standard provides broader trading hours and larger starting size. Compare usable drawdown and target—not the headline account balance—and verify the 30% reduction at checkout.
