What the news restriction means

The Trading Pit’s trading-rules page specifically identifies 100K and 200K CFD accounts. A trader should not assume that a rule displayed for another size or for Futures Prime applies to these accounts.

Before a scheduled event:

  1. Check the provider’s economic calendar.
  2. Identify affected instruments.
  3. Convert the event to platform/server time.
  4. Close or avoid affected exposure within the current restricted window.
  5. Review pending orders that could create a position.
  6. Save the rule version and calendar record.

Permission to scalp does not cancel the news restriction. The Trading Pit states that scalping is allowed in Prime CFD Challenges while HFT remains prohibited.

How 50% consistency works

A 50% consistency rule compares the largest profitable day with total profit in the applicable reward period.

Minimum total profit = largest profitable day ÷ 0.50

Largest profitable dayMinimum total profit at 50%
$500$1,000
$1,000$2,000
$2,000$4,000
$3,000$6,000

If the best day is $2,000 and total profit is $3,000, concentration is 66.67%. Total profit would need to reach $4,000 for the best day to equal 50%.

Use the live dashboard because the firm’s reward review and account-generation rules control the result.

Purchase date matters

The current reward policy states that the 50% rule applies to one-phase 100K and 200K accounts created after July 5, 2026. Older accounts or other configurations may use different terms.

Save:

  • Purchase date.
  • Product and phase.
  • Agreement version.
  • Account size.
  • Dashboard consistency value.
  • Support confirmation for unclear cases.

Risk-per-trade rules remain separate

The Trading Pit also publishes risk-per-trade-idea and margin-per-trade-idea controls for Prime CFD accounts. Several positions with the same market thesis can be treated as one trade idea.

A consistency result does not replace those controls. Position size must satisfy loss limits, trade-idea risk, margin usage and news restrictions together.

Apply COMPARE

  1. Open The Trading Pit CFD storefront.
  2. Select Prime and the exact account size.
  3. Confirm whether the account is one-phase or two-phase.
  4. Enter COMPARE.
  5. Verify the displayed reduction, up to 20%.
  6. Save the final checkout and agreement.
  7. Do not apply CFD rules or discounts to the Futures storefront.

“Up to 20%” is a maximum. Plan, size, add-ons or campaign conditions can change the actual reduction.

Pre-trade checklist

  • Is this a 100K or 200K CFD account?
  • Is the account one-phase?
  • Was it created after July 5, 2026?
  • Is a high-impact event approaching?
  • Are any pending orders exposed?
  • What is the current best-day percentage?
  • Are trade-idea risk and margin within limits?

Bottom line

Trading Pit CFD Prime 100K and 200K accounts require product-specific planning. News trading is restricted during both phases, and newer one-phase accounts use 50% consistency for rewards. Confirm the account generation before relying on any rule summary.
