Crypto Fund Trader Review
Crypto Fund Trader Review 2026: Complete Rules, Drawdown and Payout Guide
Crypto Fund Trader began with crypto specialization but now offers a broad CFD-style simulated universe. Its large crypto menu and exchange-linked platform are differentiators; its Break account's 40% best-day rule is a key funded-stage condition.
Audit basis: Current official public rules checked 27 August 2026. This is an independent document review. Prop Firm Audit did not purchase this account, test execution or submit a payout. Marketing totals and testimonials are not treated as independently verified evidence.

Account Types Compared
| Program | Target | Daily limit | Maximum loss | Minimum days | Funded/payout condition |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Phase | Current plan target | Model-specific | Model-specific | No general evaluation minimum | Funded reward conditions |
| 2-Phase | Commonly 8% then 5% | Model-specific | Model-specific | No general evaluation minimum | Conventional staged route |

How the Program Works
All public accounts are simulated. The trader meets the selected targets and loss rules, then becomes eligible for performance rewards on the final-stage account. Bybit integration expands crypto execution choices but does not turn the challenge into an exchange deposit.
Drawdown Rules
The FAQ states that breaches are tested on equity. Daily maximum loss is set from the account balance at approximately 00:05 UTC, while the overall floor follows the plan. Floating crypto volatility can therefore breach the account before a candle closes.
Payout and Profit-Split Rules
The firm advertises fast processing and up to a 90% share. The Break Final Stage requires the best trading day to remain at or below 40% of total profit before a payout. Minimums, methods and any add-on share must be checked in the current dashboard.
Trading Permissions and Prohibited Conduct
Crypto markets run continuously, but weekend and news permissions still depend on platform maintenance and the program. EAs and automation must comply with the prohibited-practices policy. Cross-user copying, arbitrage based on delayed feeds and exploitation of simulated fills can be rejected.
Platforms and Trading Conditions
MT5 and Match-Trader provide multi-asset CFDs, while the Bybit-linked environment expands crypto pairs. Leverage is much lower on crypto than Forex and can differ by coin.
Advantages
- Unusually broad crypto instrument selection.
- Multiple platforms including crypto-focused infrastructure.
- No general minimum trading days on evaluations.
- Public equity-drawdown explanation.
- Multi-asset access beyond crypto.
Disadvantages and Important Risks
- Program-specific numbers are not summarized by one universal rule.
- Crypto volatility makes equity limits demanding.
- Break accounts use a 40% payout consistency rule.
- Up-to split may require configuration.
- Firm payout statistics are self-reported.
Trust Review
The firm publishes FAQs, terms and an explicit simulated-trading disclosure. Its operation since 2022 and platform integrations support a positive score, while performance and payout totals remain company claims unless independently verified.
Public documentation improves transparency but cannot guarantee a payout. The exact account agreement, KYC result, country eligibility and platform records control each decision.
Best For
Best for crypto-focused traders who want more pairs than a normal Forex prop firm. Lower-volatility Forex traders may not need the complexity.
Final Verdict
Crypto Fund Trader is a credible specialist with genuine instrument breadth. The main risk is applying a Forex risk model to 24/7 crypto equity swings.
