Orion Funded Review
Orion Funded is a UAE-based simulated Forex/CFD provider founded in 2023. Its lineup ranges from no-target Orion Zero to a three-phase Select challenge. The main comparison issue is not only target count; it is the type of drawdown attached to each program.
Orion Funded program targets
| Program | Phase targets | Minimum trading days |
|---|---|---|
| Orion Zero | None | None |
| Orion Nova | 4% | None |
| Orion Standard | 6% / 6% | 4 separate days |
| Orion Swing | 8% / 5% | 4 separate days |
| Orion Select | 5% / 5% / 5% | Current product/FAQ should be reconciled; help center lists 4 for Select |
An older/current Select sales page has also promoted no mandatory minimum days. Because that conflicts with the broader current FAQ, traders should obtain confirmation for the specific account generation.
Three drawdown types
Orion documents static, balance-trailing and equity-trailing maximum loss. Static remains anchored to starting balance. Balance-trailing rises only when closed balance establishes a high. Equity-trailing can rise from open, unrealised profit and is the most demanding.
Daily loss uses the greater of the previous day's closing balance or closing equity and resets at midnight UTC. Floating positions can therefore affect both the baseline and breach calculation.
The referenced Select 3-Step uses 5% daily and 5% total loss in each phase, with unlimited duration. Because both are equal, the cumulative floor is usually the binding risk constraint.
Rewards and refund
Orion Trader Accounts have no ongoing profit target. The standard share is 80%, with biweekly reward access. The company advertises processing within 48 hours on certain pages; this audit treats that as a service claim, not guaranteed elapsed time. The Select sales page promotes fee refund after the required reward milestone, subject to terms.
Platforms and trading rules
MT5 and Match-Trader are supported. Eligible EAs, news trading and holdings depend on the program. Copying other people, account sharing, latency arbitrage, coordinated hedging and exploiting platform errors are prohibited. Accounts are explicitly demo accounts with fictitious funds.
Strengths
- Multiple target structures, including no-target and low-target paths.
- Clear help center for profit targets and drawdown concepts.
- 80% standard split and biweekly cycle.
- MT5 and Match-Trader availability.
- Dashboard displays risk metrics in real time.
Limitations
- Five programs and three drawdown types increase selection complexity.
- Select minimum-day statements conflict across official pages.
- Equity-trailing plans can react to unrealised highs.
- “48-hour payout” remains conditional on approval and payment rails.
- Operating history is shorter than long-established competitors.
Verdict
Orion's range is useful, especially for traders who select drawdown type intentionally. The score is held below top-tier firms by the shorter record and a documentation conflict around Select activity days.
Editorial methodology and important limitation
This is an independent, document-based audit of Orion Funded, based on first-party pages available on 27 August 2026. We did not open or fund an account, trade, receive an allocation or request a payment. Company-hosted totals, testimonials and speed statements are identified as claims rather than independent proof. Terms, regional entities and product generations can change, so verify the current agreement.
