Atlas Funded Forex Protector + Coupon Code COMPARE

Atlas Funded Forex Protector can trigger even when net floating loss is below 2%: its current help page also totals the losing open positions and uses the larger loss measure. A winning position elsewhere cannot be relied on to offset the exposure. This guide explains that account-book calculation and what to record before and after a trigger.

Code: COMPARE

Verified on 12 October 2026. Verified code: COMPARE.

Verified code: COMPARE gives 50% off eligible Atlas Forex/CFD base purchase fees. The discount affects buying the account, not Protector. Rules and prices were checked on 7 October 2026. Futures platform rules are different and are outside this guide.

The funded open-loss test

The official Protector guide sets the threshold at 2% of the initial account balance. Compare the magnitude of net floating loss with the sum of losses on currently losing positions. Closed trades do not enter this particular test. It applies to funded accounts rather than evaluations.

On the first trigger, positions close and the account's profit share becomes 50% permanently, including when a higher-share add-on was purchased. A second distinct trigger breaches the account. The rule re-arms after exposure falls below the threshold, so one episode is not counted twice. These are the current help-center terms, not a firsthand enforcement test.

Why a profitable hedge can still leave excessive exposure

Consider a hypothetical $50,000 funded account, whose 2% reference is $1,000. Three positions show the following marks at the same instant:

Open positionFloating result
Position A-$620
Position B-$430
Position C+$300
Net floating result-$750
Total losing positions$1,050

The book's net loss is $750, but its losing positions total $1,050. The larger loss amount has crossed the $1,000 reference. Looking only at the equity-versus-balance difference would miss this example.

The illustration is deliberately instrument-neutral. It does not recommend a hedge or imply that any particular hedging arrangement is permitted. Atlas's terms separately restrict cross-account hedging, unapproved automation and excessive risk. A correct arithmetic worksheet cannot authorize a prohibited strategy.

Check the whole book at one timestamp

A screenshot of Position A at one time and Position B several minutes later cannot reconstruct the simultaneous exposure. For a useful record, preserve the platform time, account identifier, balance, equity and each open position's marked result together. Otherwise, a discrepancy may be a timing problem rather than a calculation problem.

Open losses also change while an order is being closed. A planned stop is a risk-control instruction, not proof that the final fill will occur at the exact assumed price. Spreads, slippage and commissions can make an operating cushion important. Do not treat the formal threshold as a recommended risk budget.

Initial balance is a different reference from current equity

Suppose the same account has grown to $54,000. A worksheet that calculates 2% of that amount produces $1,080, whereas 2% of the original $50,000 remains $1,000. Using the wrong denominator creates an $80 discrepancy before any market movement occurs.

Label the reference explicitly in the journal. Avoid a generic field named account size that automatically updates to the latest balance. Retain the original program balance separately from current balance and equity. Those three values often serve different rules.

The opposite mistake can occur after losses: using a reduced balance might produce a more conservative personal limit, but it is still a different calculation from the published rule. Personal risk limits can be tighter; their purpose and source should be clear.

A remaining maximum-loss cushion does not switch Protector off

The maximum-drawdown guide describes overall floors by program. The daily-loss guide describes a separate daily equity reference where applicable. These are account boundaries with different inputs. A funded trader may encounter an open-position control while still well above an overall floor.

A practical pre-session record therefore has separate fields for the current overall floor, any daily floor and open-loss exposure. Green status in one column should never automatically turn the other two green. For withdrawal-specific arithmetic on Pro, see the existing fixed-floor withdrawal guide.

Margin adds another independent constraint. Atlas's funded margin guide describes an 80% usage trigger that closes positions and deducts profits on profitable closures. Margin usage is not the same quantity as floating loss, so substituting one platform number for the other will not work.

What to do with a trigger record

After a trigger, preserve the closure timestamps, account status and displayed profit share. Reconcile which event occurred before assuming that a trading lock, loss breach and Protector event are interchangeable. They have different consequences and may arise close together.

There is a material documentation conflict: the older trading-rules page describes the first Protector reduction for a payout cycle, while the current dedicated help page says it lasts for the account's life. This guide uses the dedicated help wording and flags the difference. Obtain written confirmation tied to the purchased account if that distinction affects a decision.

Do not immediately buy a replacement to chase a lost reward. First identify whether the problem was aggregation, sizing, execution or an incorrect rule assumption. Another discounted account repeats the same exposure problem if the method remains unchanged.

A small, verified purchase-fee comparison

These regular USD base fees come from the official public pricing data, retrieved on the check date. They are ordinary new-account examples, without extras.

PlanAccount sizeRegular price USDCodeDiscountSavings USDFinal base price USD

1-Step Pro$25K$213.00COMPARE50%$106.50$106.50

Each calculation applies 50% once. These prices do not measure the probability of passing or receiving rewards. The funded risk-control fit deserves its own decision before choosing the lowest entry fee.

Check the purchase separately

Verified code: COMPARE gives 50% off eligible Atlas Funded Forex/CFD base purchase fees. This is the publisher-confirmed offer in the market-specific coupon record. It is not a claim that we bought an account or tested the code at checkout today. No fixed expiry has been confirmed.

  1. Open the official Forex/CFD selector and confirm the market, program, size and platform.
  2. Check regional eligibility and the rules attached to that exact order.
  3. Enter COMPARE before payment. The code is COMPARE, without 50 appended.
  4. Check the eligible base reduction and the full order total. Keep add-ons, bundles, resets, tax and payment charges separate. No stacking or discount on those extras is assumed.
  5. Save the receipt and issued rules, and resolve a price or policy mismatch before buying.

The full Atlas Funded Forex/CFD review gives wider model context. A coupon changes the entry fee; it does not create additional loss room or remove compliance review.
