Blue Guardian Futures lists included CME Level 1 data for DeepCharts, a combined $5 Level 1 addition, and separate optional Level 2 packages. Choose by exchange and depth, then budget data apart from the account purchase.

What is the difference between an exchange and a data level?
An exchange identifies a market; a data level describes the information received. Buying access to another exchange and adding more order-book detail answer different questions.
CME Group identifies four exchanges: CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX. Consequently, a package labeled CME should not automatically be read as every exchange within CME Group.
The dxFeed glossary describes Level 1 as top-of-book quotes, while Level 2 refers to a price-level order book. It also distinguishes entitlements, which control permitted data access, from authentication, which establishes identity.
For an original planning example, imagine a trader who needs only a chart and current quote for one selected market. A second trader explicitly uses multiple book levels in a depth-based process. Those are different data requirements even when both use the same account size. Start with the information needed for the process, rather than assuming a more expensive package improves trading results.
Which DeepCharts data amounts does Blue Guardian Futures publish?
The official Futures platform guide lists the following amounts, checked on 28 October 2026.
| DeepCharts data item | Published amount | Coverage label |
|---|---|---|
| Default Level 1 | Included | CME |
| Additional Level 1 bundle | $5.00 | CBOT, COMEX and NYMEX together |
| Individual exchange Level 2 | $12.10 each | CME, CBOT, COMEX or NYMEX |
| CME Group Level 2 | $36.50 | Group package |
The $5 item bundles the three additional Level 1 exchanges. The data-price section does not specify a billing interval. Confirm charge periods, renewal behavior and exact entitlements before treating these amounts as an ongoing budget.
Keep a screenshot of the option description and the order breakdown. A name such as “data upgrade” is less useful later than a record identifying exchange, level, amount and payment period.
When is the group Level 2 package cheaper than individual packages?
At the published amounts, four individual Level 2 exchange packages total $48.40, compared with the listed $36.50 group price. That is an $11.90 arithmetic difference, provided the group option supplies the same required coverage.
Three individual packages total $36.30, which is $0.20 below the group amount. The group option is therefore not automatically the lowest displayed price for every exchange count.
| Number of individually priced L2 exchanges | Calculation | Combined listed amount | Difference versus $36.50 group amount |
|---|---|---|---|
| One | $12.10 × 1 | $12.10 | $24.40 lower |
| Two | $12.10 × 2 | $24.20 | $12.30 lower |
| Three | $12.10 × 3 | $36.30 | $0.20 lower |
| Four | $12.10 × 4 | $48.40 | $11.90 higher |
These are package-price comparisons, not verified checkout totals. Compare the same charging period and included access before acting on the difference. Do not add the $5 Level 1 bundle to every Level 2 example automatically: the published amount alone does not settle whether another selection is required for a particular order.
Use a worksheet listing exchanges used, information needed and the matching option. Mark unused coverage separately so the reason for an upgrade remains visible.
Does CFP reduce these data charges?
PFA records Blue Guardian Futures coupon code CFP for up to 45% off account purchases, covering Standard, Reserve, Express and Direct. Its coupon record states that Yash R verified the code on 1 November 2026.
That maximum is account-configuration specific. It does not establish a discount on data packages, resets or other separate charges. Read the current CFP terms and account pricing for the documented scope.
| Budget item | How to record it |
|---|---|
| Account purchase | Selected model, size, platform, options and accepted CFP reduction |
| Data selection | Exact exchange package, data level and displayed charge period |
| Other order items | Separate optional services, taxes or payment charges actually shown |
| Complete payment | Final total after all accepted adjustments |
If the regular account base is P and the accepted coupon fraction is r, the discounted account base is P × (1 − r). Data belongs on its own line unless the actual order explicitly discounts it too. This formula avoids transferring a purchase promotion to an unrelated service.
How do I apply CFP while keeping the budget clear?
- Open the official Blue Guardian purchase flow and select Futures.
- Choose the model, size, platform and account options.
- Enter CFP and inspect the accepted account reduction.
- Record data options separately, including their charging period.
- Review the complete total and retain the receipt and selected terms.
The Futures fees guide provides wider context for separating entry costs from later services.
How do I connect DeepCharts without buying an unnecessary upgrade?
First distinguish a connection problem from missing access. The official setup instructions direct users through the dashboard's Downloads area into DeepCharts, using the supplied credentials, then connecting DXFeed from the web platform. A green connection indicator confirms the feed connection.
A connection indicator and an exchange entitlement are different checks. The dxFeed glossary's distinction helps explain why a successful login does not, by itself, identify every data package associated with an account.
Use this diagnostic worksheet before changing a purchase:
| Observation | First information to record | Next check |
|---|---|---|
| Credentials rejected | Correct platform and account identity | Supplied credential details |
| Feed disconnected | Connection state and time | DXFeed connection setup |
| One selected market is missing | Exact symbol, exchange and package | Access attached to that account |
| Quotes appear but expected book detail is absent | Selected data level and tool | Required depth entitlement |
| Order controls remain unavailable | Account and platform state | Account permissions through official support |
This is a suggested troubleshooting sequence, rather than a statement that every symptom has one cause. Keep existing order and position status visible while investigating. For the separate mechanics of linked exit orders, see the DeepCharts OCO guide.
What information should I send support about a data issue?
Send a concise description identifying the account, platform version, package, symbol and observed behavior. Include the time and timezone so the event can be matched to the correct session.
The official Futures introduction directs account-specific questions to live chat or email and recommends the registered account email. It also describes the account purchase as one-time, without monthly account renewals or a further funded activation charge. Those account-fee statements do not determine the billing terms of optional data.
A useful support request asks a specific question: “Does this account have the exchange and level shown on my receipt?” That is easier to investigate than assuming a new purchase is necessary. Share order references and relevant screenshots through the firm's official channel; keep passwords and identity documents out of public community posts.
What should I confirm before paying for a data upgrade?
Confirm the exchange, level, charge interval, package overlap and account to which access will be attached. Ask how renewal or cancellation works if the order creates recurring access.
The economical option is the one matching the intended data requirement and verified order terms. A discounted challenge fee, a data entitlement and the account's trading rules remain separate parts of the decision.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
No. CME Group comprises CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX. A CME-labeled entitlement should be checked separately from a group-wide package.
Separate lines show which charge receives a coupon, which service is purchased and which payment terms apply. They also make later receipts easier to reconcile.
First put them on a matching time basis and confirm renewal terms. A smaller displayed amount alone does not establish a lower total cost.
Three individually listed $12.10 packages total $36.30, which is $0.20 below the $36.50 group amount. Compare matching coverage and charge periods.
A connection and an entitlement are different concepts. Confirm the exact exchange and data level attached to the selected account.
No data discount is established by PFA's account-purchase offer. Keep data separate unless the actual order explicitly applies a reduction to that item.
PFA's Blue Guardian Futures coupon record states that Yash R verified CFP on 1 November 2026 for the listed up to 45% account-purchase offer.
A data selection does not establish a change to the account's risk or position rules. Use the issued model rules and the Futures review for those conditions.
