FundedNext Futures Market Data: Level 1 vs Level 2 and CFP
Separate FundedNext Futures chart data, optional Level 2 subscriptions and professional Live exchange fees before budgeting a Challenge purchase with CFP.

FundedNext Futures traders can receive real-time charts with an active Level 1 subscription. Level 2 adds order-book depth; it does not make the same feed faster or repair an inactive entitlement. Start by checking the account stage, signed agreements and exchange access, then decide whether deeper data serves a specific task.
This guide separates three decisions: activating a Futures Challenge, purchasing optional depth data, and budgeting professional data after an actual Live Trading Program transition. For wider account rules, use the FundedNext Futures review.
Official platform and fee sources were checked on 28 October 2026. PFA's separate CFP coupon record records verification by Yash R on 1 November 2026.
What is the difference between Level 1 and Level 2 data?
Level 1 shows top-of-book prices; Level 2 adds the quantities resting across additional price levels. Choose the information your workflow uses, rather than treating a higher number as a speed upgrade.
Tradovate's data-level explanation supports this comparison:
| Decision | Level 1 | Level 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Price information | Last trade, best bid and best ask | The same feed plus deeper resting orders |
| Common use | Quotes, charts and a standard order ticket | Depth of Market and some Order Flow+ tools |
| Reason to select it | The required information is already available | A defined process uses additional depth |
| Chart-delay question | Check whether the entitlement is active | Buying depth does not itself solve inactive data |
FundedNext's Level 1 and Level 2 guide specifically says properly subscribed Level 1 charts are real time. A useful pre-purchase question is: which additional field will I read, and which decision will it inform? If that answer is unclear, diagnose the present feed before adding another charge.
How do I activate data after buying a Futures Challenge?
Complete the initial Tradovate setup on desktop web, using the credentials supplied through the FundedNext Futures dashboard. The official first-login guide places agreements and subscriber certification before trading access.
- Open the purchased Futures Challenge in FundedNext and view its platform credentials.
- Launch Tradovate from that dashboard and sign in through desktop web.
- Complete the requested contact details and read the subscriber certification.
- Follow the applicable certification process, sign the subscriber agreements and accept the platform licence.
- Use the simulation environment specified for the Challenge.
- After data assignment, sign out and back in, then check the account and instrument shown.
The Challenge guide shows non-professional certification. That declaration should describe the subscriber's actual circumstances; ask the provider to resolve a classification question before signing. Keep the account ID, agreement completion and active entitlements in a private setup record. Save passwords only through an appropriate password manager, outside a support ticket or public screenshot.
Does missing data explain every rejected order?
No. Agreement problems, quantity limits and account restrictions can produce different rejections. Read the platform's actual reason before changing a subscription or buying another Challenge.
FundedNext's trade-rejection guide distinguishes these checks:
| What you observe | First evidence to inspect | Useful next action |
|---|---|---|
| A new account lacks real-time access | Subscriber agreement and certification status | Complete setup or ask Tradovate about a recorded selection |
| A quantity-related rejection | Open positions and the account's contract allowance | Reconcile the permitted quantity |
| Liquidation-only access | Account status in the FundedNext dashboard | Establish the applicable restriction |
| Rejection around a closure | Instrument hours and official holiday notices | Confirm that trading is available |
For support, record the account, symbol, time, exact message and relevant order reference. These details separate a data-entitlement issue from an account-permission issue. Mask private information before sharing evidence. A moving chart alone does not establish permission to submit every proposed order.
Who sells and manages optional Level 2 subscriptions?
Tradovate handles optional Level 2 activation, billing and subscription management. FundedNext's data subscription guide directs traders to Tradovate for these services, including billing disputes.
Before subscribing, write down the exchange, data level, subscriber class, monthly amount and renewal control shown in the account. After payment, retain the receipt and confirm the entitlement appears active. This simple record makes a later bill easier to reconcile: a Challenge receipt and a data-subscription receipt represent separate purchases.
What changes when the account actually enters the Live Trading Program?
FundedNext's Live data-fee policy says traders entering that program are classified as professional for data fees. Monthly exchange subscriptions are arranged through Tradovate.
Apply that policy to the actual Live transition. A Challenge login and a selected Live account are different administrative states. The official Road to Live guide covers the separate selection and account-treatment questions.
How much can exchange selection change the reference budget?
The official NinjaTrader account-fee page lists professional CME Group data at $156 per exchange per month, checked on 28 October 2026. Using FundedNext's exchange examples gives this reference arithmetic:
| Instrument set | Exchanges in this example | Count | Monthly reference calculation |
|---|---|---|---|
| NQ and ES | CME | 1 | 1 × $156 = $156 |
| NQ, ES and GC | CME and COMEX | 2 | 2 × $156 = $312 |
| NQ, ES, GC and CL | CME, COMEX and NYMEX | 3 | 3 × $156 = $468 |
These are professional-data reference calculations, not a quote for a simulated Challenge or a confirmation of the reader's invoice. Check the issued account classification and the actual subscription order. Keeping two instruments on one exchange separate from two exchange subscriptions prevents a basic budgeting error.
How should I handle renewal and cancellation?
Use Tradovate's renewal controls and retain confirmation. Its subscription-management policy says data fees are charged for the full month, subscriptions cannot be stopped midway through it, and ending the next charge requires cancelling renewal.
For example, consider a hypothetical trader changing exchanges late in a month. A newly selected feed and cancellation of the old feed's renewal are two separate actions. Record each subscription, the displayed charge and the effective renewal status. The date a trader stops using a chart is not evidence that its renewal has been cancelled.
What does CFP cover when data costs are separate?
CFP is PFA's recorded FundedNext Futures discount code for up to 50% off selected Challenge purchases, verified by Yash R on 1 November 2026. Use the current CFP offer page for account-specific coverage.
| Purchase | How to check the saving |
|---|---|
| Selected Futures Challenge | Apply CFP before payment and read the accepted total |
| Flex Challenge | Match the purchase count to the partner-offer policy |
| Separate Tradovate data subscription | Review its own subscription price and billing terms |
The official Flex offer policy states 47% for the first two official or partner-code purchases, then 40% from the third. Rapid pricing depends on the selected purchase; Direct and new Legacy coverage are not established in PFA's record. The maximum headline is therefore not a flat rate for every model.
Choose the account and options, apply CFP, review the accepted Challenge fee, and keep any data subscription in a separate budget line. PFA may earn a referral commission through its links or code. This guide reviews published documentation and arithmetic; it does not report a personal checkout or trading test.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Tradovate describes Level 2 as additional order-book information rather than a faster feed. FundedNext says an active Level 1 subscription already supports real-time charts.
FundedNext instructs traders to complete the first login and agreement signing on Tradovate desktop web. Its setup guide says that agreement-signing process is not supported on mobile.
FundedNext identifies both NQ and ES with CME. In its exchange examples, GC uses COMEX and CL uses NYMEX. Check the instruments and entitlements displayed in the issued account.
The professional-data rule is stated for the actual FundedNext Live Trading Program transition. Establish the account stage from the issued notice rather than treating a Challenge purchase or pass as proof of that transition.
Manage renewal directly in Tradovate and retain confirmation. Its subscription policy requires cancellation of renewal to prevent the next charge; simply leaving a feed unused does not document cancellation.
PFA lists CFP for selected FundedNext Futures Challenge purchases. Tradovate manages the separate Level 2 subscription, with its own billing and refund terms.
PFA records CFP as verified by Yash R on 1 November 2026. The platform and fee sources in this guide were separately checked on 28 October 2026.
