Breakout Prop Leverage and Margin + Discount Code COMPARE

Verified code: COMPARE.

Verified on 12 October 2026. Verified code: COMPARE.

Breakout Prop discount code COMPARE is verified for a 5% reduction on eligible base evaluation fees. The standard $10K Pro fee is $65, giving a calculated $61.75 after COMPARE, saving $3.25. Leverage is assigned by instrument, and a symbol's notional cap is a separate limit. Neither tells you how much account loss is acceptable.

Checked: 4 October 2026. This guide covers standard Classic, Pro and Turbo on Breakout Prop Terminal. Spark has separate specifications. Coupon prices are calculations using the verified code; no personal trading test is claimed.

Standard entry fees with COMPARE

The live pricing selector displayed these $10K fees for the standard 80% trader-share package. The optional 90% package is separately priced and excluded below.

PlanAccount sizeRegular feeCodeDiscountSavingsCalculated final fee

1-Step Turbo$10,000$40.00COMPARE5%$2.00$38.00

The calculation is the regular fee × 0.95, with no second promotion stacked. Taxes or separately displayed charges remain outside this table. The PFA coupon page supplies no confirmed fixed expiry date. The evaluation is a one-time purchase, not ownership of the nominal account allocation.

Leverage, notional cap and loss budget are three different limits

Leverage describes how much exposure a given amount of margin can support. A notional cap restricts the total permitted exposure to a symbol. The daily and overall loss rules restrict how far equity may fall. A trade can fit one and fail another.

Breakout Prop's leverage FAQ says leverage is automatically applied by instrument and can change. Its position-limit FAQ directs traders to the current Symbols page for per-instrument caps.

Standard-plan symbolPublished leveragePublished maximum total symbol size
BTCUSD10x$1,000,000
ETHUSD5x$1,000,000
SOLUSD5x$500,000
BONKUSD2x$25,000

These are examples from the official standard Symbols table, not promised capacity on every account. Available margin, existing exposure and account-level constraints can be tighter. Do not copy the Spark table's higher non-crypto leverage into a standard evaluation.

A margin estimate starts with exposure divided by leverage

For straightforward planning, estimated initial margin is notional exposure divided by leverage. The terminal's actual margin display controls the order; this arithmetic does not invent a maintenance-margin or liquidation policy.

Hypothetical proposed notionalLeverage assumptionSimple margin estimate
$12,000 BTC exposure10x$1,200
$12,000 ETH exposure5x$2,400
$12,000 BONK exposure2x$6,000

The same notional requires different margin, yet a 1% adverse price move on each produces approximately $120 of price loss before fees. The lower margin requirement on BTC does not reduce that dollar sensitivity.

Likewise, choosing a smaller actual position can reduce effective leverage even when the instrument's maximum leverage is fixed. If a $10K account takes $12K exposure, the notional-to-account-equity ratio starts around 1.2 times. The symbol's 10x specification is a ceiling in the product design, not an instruction to use ten times the account value.

A symbol cap can bind before a margin estimate

Suppose a hypothetical $50K account considers $30K of BONK exposure. Dividing by 2x gives a $15K simple margin estimate, which may look affordable before accounting for other positions. But the published standard BONK cap is $25K. A larger account balance does not waive that instrument ceiling.

Existing exposure also matters. If the applicable maximum total symbol size is $25K and $18K is already open, the arithmetic difference is $7K before mark changes and other constraints. That difference is not a guarantee that an additional $7K order will be accepted. Read the live total and any rejection message instead of treating a stale worksheet as the authority.

Sizing from loss room gives a different answer

Consider a hypothetical personal risk budget of $150 for one idea and a planned adverse price move of 1.5%. Ignoring costs, the corresponding notional is:

$150 ÷ 0.015 = $10,000.

Now allow $12 for estimated trading costs and execution uncertainty. Only $138 remains for the price move, producing:

$138 ÷ 0.015 = $9,200.

This is an educational example, not a recommended risk level. The $150 ceiling must itself fit inside the account's actual remaining daily and overall room, with other positions included. A stop can execute worse than planned, so a calculation is not protection against a breach.

The standard pricing cards show 3% daily loss for Classic, Pro and Turbo, with overall static allowances of 6%, 5% and 3%. A nominal $10K Turbo label therefore does not mean $10K can be lost. The initial overall allowance is $300, and the separate daily boundary also applies.

Costs and multiple positions use the same equity

The evaluation fee FAQ lists a 0.04% charge on buy and sell notional. On an unchanged $9,200 position, that gives $3.68 at entry and $3.68 at exit, or $7.36 before spread, slippage and holding charges.

Suppose two other open trades each have a planned $80 price loss. Adding a new $150-risk idea produces $310 of combined planned exposure before unforeseen effects. Evaluating each trade in isolation can therefore produce a total that exceeds a small account's available room.

The official Symbols page also lists financing for open positions and different deduction schedules for Breakout Prop Terminal and legacy DXtrade. Keep the platform and plan attached to every saved specification. An old daily-schedule description should not silently replace the current terminal schedule.

What to check when an order is rejected

First read the terminal's stated reason. Then compare the instrument, proposed notional, current exposure, available margin and current account status. A rejection is not evidence that the displayed leverage is wrong, and increasing leverage elsewhere cannot cure a symbol cap.

Do not split an oversized proposal into repeated orders to try to evade a limit. Total exposure remains the relevant question. If a permitted size is still rejected and the reason is unclear, preserve the displayed message and ask support to explain that account's constraint.
