A Breakout Prop Pro $50K limit entry can create an open position before the whole order fills. The current terminal FAQ says filled units become exposed immediately, while the unfilled remainder stays pending; attached protection applies to the filled position. Check both states rather than waiting for the original order to show fully filled.
For October 2026, this account has a $6,000 evaluation target, a $2,500 static loss allowance and a separate 3% daily limit. Its $280 standard fee becomes a calculated $266 with COMPARE at 5% off. This guide focuses on the entry-to-position handover, including conflicting official documentation.

Pro $50K price with the verified COMPARE code
The official pricing page lists this one-time USD fee with the standard 80% trader share.
| Plan | Account size | Regular price (USD) | Coupon code | Discount | Savings (USD) | Final price after discount (USD) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Step Pro | $50,000 | $280.00 | COMPARE | 5% | $14.00 | $266.00 |
The final column is the calculated eligible base fee: $280 × 0.95. Confirm the accepted discount and complete checkout total. Taxes, payment costs and optional extras are outside this calculation. No promotion stacking or fixed expiry is assumed.
The optional 90% share package adds 20%: $56 extra, or $336 before a coupon. Its upgrade coverage is unconfirmed here. A coupon changes the purchase price; it does not make pending orders protected or enlarge loss limits. See the current PFA coupon terms.
The account rules in dollars
| Rule | Pro $50K details |
|---|---|
| Evaluation | One phase; $50,000 simulated starting balance |
| Profit target | 12%, or $6,000 |
| Maximum overall loss | 5%, or $2,500; static equity floor $47,500 |
| Initial daily allowance | 3%, or $1,500; initial daily floor $48,500 |
| Later daily calculation | Closed balance at 00:30 UTC multiplied by 0.97 |
| Breach measurement | Equity, including unrealized P/L and costs |
| Completion time | No minimum days or maximum evaluation deadline |
| Inactivity | Agreements suspend access after 90 consecutive calendar days without transactions; support reactivation is required |
The Pro evaluation FAQ supplies the target and static limit. The daily-loss FAQ bases resets on closed balance, excluding open positions. Equity can still breach while those positions remain open. The time-limit FAQ and evaluation agreement address completion and inactivity separately.
For example, after a $52,000 closed-balance reset, the daily floor is $50,440. At equity of $50,700, only $260 remains above that daily boundary, despite $3,200 above the static floor. This is an arithmetic illustration, not a suggested loss budget. Additional entry fills would need to be evaluated against both limits.
What happens when only part of the entry fills?
The current partial-fill FAQ describes immediate position exposure for executed units and a still-working unfilled remainder. It specifically limits attached TP/SL coverage to the filled position.
Consider a hypothetical buy limit for 6 ETH at $2,000. Two ETH fill and four remain pending. These invented numbers explain order accounting; they are not a market quote or trade recommendation.
| Item to reconcile | Hypothetical state |
|---|---|
| Original request | 6 ETH; $12,000 planned entry notional |
| Confirmed executions | 2 ETH; $4,000 filled entry notional |
| Remaining order | 4 ETH; $8,000 potential additional entry notional |
| Position currently requiring inspection | The 2 filled ETH |
| Protection assumption to avoid | Treating an attachment on 2 ETH as proof of protection for all 6 ETH |
The pending quantity has no filled-position P/L yet. It can nevertheless change the account's exposure if another execution arrives. A useful entry review therefore records two separate questions: what is exposed now, and what can still become exposed without another instruction?
After any further fill, reconcile the new position quantity and its displayed protection again. If changing the entry plan, verify the remaining order's actual status before submitting a replacement. An intended cancellation and a confirmed cancellation are different records. This is an editorial checking process, not a promise about every terminal attachment or cancellation behavior.
Which quote qualifies a limit entry?
Under the current bid/ask FAQ, a buy limit is price-eligible when its limit is at or above the ask; a sell limit is price-eligible when its limit is at or below the bid. Available size still determines how much can execute.
For an illustrative $1,998 bid and $2,002 ask, a $2,000 buy limit does not meet the ask. A $2,000 sell limit does not meet the bid. A chart touching $2,000 alone does not establish execution for either order. The unfilled-order FAQ points to spread and available liquidity as separate reasons for nonexecution.
The task is to reconcile price side, available size and actual executions. Moving a limit to chase a fill changes the original decision and can change its costs. A missing fill is not automatically a terminal fault.
The official documents conflict on partial fills
The live Program Rules still contain an Unfilled Limit Orders section saying partial fills are not offered. The newer dedicated terminal FAQ expressly describes them. This guide uses that specific operational FAQ for the behavior above while making the contradiction visible.
If your account behaves differently, preserve the order ID, terminal, instrument, timestamps and confirmed fills, then ask official support which behavior applies. Do not assume that all legacy accounts or every order type has identical handling. The platform transition notice says new purchases have used the firm's own terminal since 9 July 2026, with legacy DXtrade accounts continuing separately.
Costs, funded access and pre-purchase checks
The evaluation commission FAQ specifies 0.04% per side of executed notional. In the hypothetical first fill above, $4,000 × 0.0004 is $1.60 entry commission. If all six units fill at the same price, total entry commission is $4.80. Closing costs, spread and slippage remain additional.
The current Symbols page lists instrument-specific leverage and size limits. Standard financing is 0.033% of notional daily, deducted every four hours on the current terminal. Check current instrument information; the $50K account label alone does not determine permissible exposure.
News and weekend holding are permitted under the news FAQ and weekend FAQ. Execution risk and prohibited-practice rules still apply. Account breaches end the attempt; there is no free reset.
After passing, funded approval requires KYC, a separate agreement and approval. Standard payouts use an 80% share, a $50 post-split minimum and USDC on Ethereum. Requests require no open positions and an unbreached account; the payout FAQ allows requests on demand but states approval can take 12–24 hours. No delivery time is guaranteed.
Before paying, check regional eligibility, the selected account's agreement and refund terms. Then select Pro $50K in the official purchase flow, choose the intended share package, enter COMPARE, apply it, and verify the $14 base saving before payment. Save the final order and applicable rules.
For wider context, read the Breakout Prop review. For reducing an already established position, use the separate partial-exit guide.
Disclosure: PFA may earn a commission from qualifying referrals or code use. This is educational document-based analysis, not personal trading advice. Nominal balances are simulated program capacity, not cash transferred to the trader. Evaluation fees can be lost; neither a coupon nor an order-management process guarantees passing or a payout.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. The current dedicated terminal FAQ says executed units become an open position immediately, while the unfilled remainder remains pending. Protection attached to that position covers the filled quantity; inspect it again after subsequent fills.
The regular standard fee is $280. Verified code COMPARE at 5% saves $14, giving a calculated $266 base fee. Confirm checkout acceptance and separate taxes, payment costs or optional upgrades.
The evaluation target is $6,000. The static overall floor is $47,500, with a $2,500 loss allowance. The initial daily floor is $48,500; subsequent daily floors use 97% of closed balance at 00:30 UTC.
A buy limit must meet the ask and a sell limit must meet the bid. Available liquidity also matters. A chart touch alone does not establish either price qualification or sufficient size for execution.
The current dedicated terminal FAQ describes partial fills, while the live Program Rules still contain an older no-partial-fills statement. Confirm the behavior for your specific account with official support rather than assuming the conflict is resolved.
Upgrade coverage is not established here. The regular upgrade is $56 extra, bringing the package to $336 before any coupon. The $266 calculation covers the standard 80% package base only.
