Quick answer
Spark's real-world-asset trading fee is quoted in basis points per side, while its overnight swap is quoted as a percentage. Those units are different. Calculate the charge on position notional, count the entry and exit separately, and keep COMPARE's account purchase discount outside the trading-cost calculation.
Coupon verification recorded on 13 October 2026. Code: COMPARE. Listed offer: 5% off the recorded Classic, Pro and Turbo evaluation fees. Verification covers Prop Firm Audit's current active coupon record; it does not establish Spark coverage.
Read the published fee units carefully
The official Spark fees page lists 0.04 basis points per side for real-world assets, a 0.013% daily swap fee on those assets, and 4 basis points per side for crypto.
One basis point equals 0.01%, or 0.0001 as a decimal multiplier. Therefore:
| Published rate | Percentage | Decimal multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| 0.04 basis points | 0.0004% | 0.000004 |
| 4 basis points | 0.04% | 0.0004 |
| 0.013% | 0.013% | 0.00013 |
Writing 0.04 basis points as 0.04% would overstate the real-world-asset per-side rate by a factor of 100.
Work through a round-trip example
Assume, only for illustration, that both entry and exit have $100,000 of notional value.
| Instrument category | Entry fee | Exit fee | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spark real-world asset | $0.40 | $0.40 | $0.80 |
| Spark crypto | $40 | $40 | $80 |
If exit notional differs from entry notional, calculate each side using its actual amount. A constant-notional illustration should not be mistaken for the final trading statement.
These calculations exclude spread, execution differences and overnight financing. A low explicit transaction fee does not establish the complete cost of the position.
Include an overnight swap charge separately
A simple application of the published 0.013% rate to $100,000 produces $13 for one daily charge. The account's exact financing basis and posting treatment determine the amount actually recorded.
Use a separate ledger column for swap. That prevents it from disappearing inside a commission estimate or being deducted twice from a net P&L field.
For example, if a hypothetical real-world-asset round trip makes $80 of gross price profit and incurs the $0.80 illustration plus one $13 financing charge, the result is $66.20 before spread and execution effects. A position closed before the financing event has a different cost profile.
Build the cost estimate before choosing size
Start with the position's dollar notional, not the nominal account size. Doubling the notional doubles a percentage-based fee estimate; changing leverage alters required margin but does not automatically halve the fee.
Reconcile actual cash movements after closing. Save the asset, entry notional, exit notional, charged commission and financing entries. This creates a reusable estimate for the same instrument rather than assuming crypto and index trades cost the same.
See the Spark exposure guide for the separate notional and margin calculation.
Where COMPARE fits
COMPARE is recorded for 5% off standard Classic, Pro and Turbo evaluation base fees. A Turbo $10,000 account has a published $40 regular base fee; the single-discount calculation is $38.
That purchase saving is separate from Spark transaction charges. The current coupon record does not establish Spark fee coverage or a commission discount.
Select the intended standard account on Breakout, enter COMPARE before payment and retain the order. Read the coupon page and Breakout review for the recorded offer and product context.
