FundingPips Flex Inactivity Clock + Coupon Code AUDIT

Quick answer

FundingPips 2 Step Flex has no deadline for completing either evaluation phase, but it still closes an account after 30 consecutive calendar days without a completed trade. A position must be opened and fully closed to count. Simply holding a position open, logging in or watching the dashboard does not satisfy the published completed-trade requirement.

Verified code: AUDIT — 10% off all FundingPips accounts. The current offer is 10%, not the former 20%. The discount changes the account purchase fee, not the inactivity rule or evaluation requirements.

Verified on 12 October 2026. Verified code: AUDIT.

Official rules checked: 6 October 2026. This article addresses the activity clock rather than the Standard reset-window guide.

Separate a target deadline from an activity deadline

The current 2 Step Flex guide says both evaluation phases have unlimited completion time, subject to continued rule compliance and activity. Before any trade has been placed, the clock starts at account creation. After trading, it starts on the day after the most recent fully closed trade. An open trade does not pause or reset that clock.

Those conditions allow a trader to progress over a longer period without making the account an indefinite storage space. A holiday, illness or planned break should therefore be reviewed against the activity requirement before the trader steps away.

Build a ledger around completed trades

A useful activity ledger needs a small number of fields: account identifier, current phase, creation date, last fully closed trade time, server time zone and dashboard status. Keep a separate list of positions still open. That separation prevents an open-ticket timestamp from being mistaken for proof of completed activity.

RecordWhat it establishesWhat it does not establish
Account creation confirmationStarting reference before any completed activityThat the trader has already reset the clock
Fully closed trade recordEvidence relevant to the activity conditionCompliance with every other trading rule
Open positionCurrent market exposureA completed trade or paused inactivity clock
Login historyAccess to the platformThe required completed trading activity
Local reminderA personal warning to review the accountAn official extension or guarantee

This ledger is an organisational suggestion, not an extra requirement imposed by FundingPips.

Three planning scenarios

A newly created account that has not been used

A trader purchases an evaluation and postpones starting it. The absence of a first trade does not prevent the activity clock from beginning. The sensible administrative step is to record the creation date immediately and review the account well before the stated inactivity boundary.

Avoid purchasing an account merely because a discount is available if you do not expect to use it within the account’s activity requirements. A cheaper entry fee can still be wasted when the account is left untouched.

A position remains open through a break

Another trader opens a position and assumes that leaving it running preserves activity indefinitely. Under the stated rule, that assumption fails: the position has not been fully closed. It also continues to expose the account to market movement, swaps and the applicable holding rules.

Do not interpret this as encouragement to close and reopen a trade purely to manufacture activity. Trading should remain consistent with the program’s conduct requirements and your own risk plan. If a planned absence creates a conflict, resolve the situation before the deadline rather than depending on a technical interpretation at the last moment.

Several accounts have different last-trade dates

A trader with more than one account may complete a trade on one while overlooking another. Maintain a row per account instead of a single “last traded” date for the whole platform. One account’s activity does not prove that a separate account has met its own requirement.

The most useful reminder identifies the actual account and phase. A generic reminder saying “trade this month” can be dismissed after checking the wrong record. Reconcile the row with the platform’s completed order history before marking it reviewed.

Do not confuse inactivity with passage to the next phase

The same official guide requires the evaluation target to be reached with open trades closed. A floating gain above a target is not the same as completed evaluation performance. Activity, target attainment and onboarding are therefore separate checkpoints.

For an operational checklist, use distinct statuses such as active, target not completed, phase review and onboarding. These are your own tracking labels, not promises of automatic approval. The actual platform status and current agreement control the account’s progression.

Current rules and legacy purchases must also be kept separate. The legacy guide identifies purchases before 28 September 2026 as a separate rules group. Do not apply a current-model summary to an older account without checking which terms govern it.

Coupon calculation without invented prices

A reliable current regular purchase price could not be retrieved from the official selector during this check. Consequently, this guide does not present a numerical price as though it were today’s purchasable configuration.

ItemCalculation or treatment
Verified codeAUDIT
Account purchase discount10%
Savings from a current regular base fee PP × 0.10
Calculated discounted base feeP × 0.90
Reset offers, paid options and taxSeparate; do not assume stacking or identical coverage

This distinction protects the reader from applying a valid percentage to an outdated fee. Use the currently selected plan’s regular fee and keep additional charges separate. The PFA FundingPips coupon page carries the active offer, while the firm review explains the model differences.

Before purchasing or taking time away

  1. Identify the exact FundingPips model and whether current or legacy terms apply.
  2. Read its activity and holding requirements.
  3. Enter AUDIT before payment for the current 10% account offer.
  4. Record creation and completed-trade dates separately.
  5. Before an absence, review every account’s actual history and open exposure.
  6. Resolve unclear account status with official support; do not assume an automatic extension or guaranteed reset.

The current Flex guide contains conflicting reset wording around inactivity, so no reset entitlement is promised here. This does not affect the clear completed-trade requirement. Some links may earn Prop Firm Audit an affiliate commission. The program uses simulated accounts; fees can be lost, and an active account does not guarantee passing, funding or a reward.
