Quick answer
A continuous futures chart can help with analysis, while an order trades a specific contract month. On Goat Funded Futures, match the order ticket, chart and working orders to the intended contract before a rollover. AUDIT is the site's listed 50% account base-fee offer; it does not change contract expiry or platform symbol routing.
Coupon verification recorded on 13 October 2026. Code: AUDIT. Listed offer: 50% off all Goat Funded Futures account base purchase fees. Verification covers the code and advertised offer in Prop Firm Audit's current active coupon record.
Separate the chart from the tradable contract
CME's continuous-series explanation describes a historical series assembled from underlying contracts. The series can follow an active or front contract using its stated roll method.
A continuous chart is therefore a data representation, not proof that the order ticket will automatically follow the same contract. Your charting platform may also use its own continuous-symbol adjustment settings.
| Item | What it represents |
|---|---|
| Continuous chart | Joined historical contract data |
| Specific contract month | The instrument selected for an order |
| Working entry order | An instruction tied to its selected contract |
| Protective order | An exit instruction tied to the actual position |
Changing a chart tab does not necessarily update the order ticket or cancel old instructions.
Understand the expiration issue
CME's Micro E-mini expiration guide explains quarterly equity-index expirations and the choices to close or move exposure before expiry.
That exchange explanation is market education. It does not grant a GFF account permission to carry positions overnight, hold to settlement or trade a prohibited spread. The GFF trading policy and issued account terms still control the program.
For an intraday GFF trader, the practical task is selecting the appropriate permitted contract for the session, rather than maintaining continuous multi-month exposure.
Why two contract months can have different prices
Suppose, only for illustration, one contract trades at 5,900 and the next at 5,914. The 14-point difference is not necessarily an instant directional move in the underlying index. The contracts have different expiry dates and can price differently.
If a stop is copied as an absolute price from the first chart to the second instrument, its distance from entry can change. Recalculate the distance and dollar risk for the selected contract instead of copying the price unchanged.
Likewise, a continuous chart's historical levels may have been adjusted across the roll. Record the platform's adjustment setting when using those levels for a trade.
Use a session-level rollover checklist
Before the session:
- Confirm the contract month supported on the account.
- Check which permitted month has the intended liquidity.
- Match chart symbol and order-ticket symbol.
- Review and cancel unintended old working orders.
- Recalculate stop distance and tick-value risk.
- Check account-specific session-close restrictions.
- Record the contract in the trade journal.
These steps are operating checks, not a recommendation to trade an expiring instrument. Do not attempt to exploit price differences or feed mismatches; ordinary contract selection is separate from prohibited rollover arbitrage.
Keep the purchase discount separate
The official Daily plan guide lists a $178 regular base reference for Daily $25K. With AUDIT's recorded 50% offer, the calculated base fee is $89.
Apply the reduction once to the account purchase. It does not halve per-side commission or automatically roll an open position.
Choose the plan and platform on Goat Funded Futures, enter AUDIT before payment and retain the issued terms. Read the coupon record and firm review for the account context.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Not necessarily. Continuous data joins underlying contracts, while an order is tied to a specific executable contract month.
Do not assume so. Review working orders and positions directly in the platform before changing the contract used for a session.
No. Market education does not alter the issued GFF account's trading and holding rules.
