Goat Funded Futures Micro vs Mini Contracts With AUDIT

Quick answer

Micro and e-mini equity-index contracts let you express different position sizes on Goat Funded Futures. One MES or MNQ has one-tenth of the corresponding ES or NQ exposure. Choose quantity using stop distance and dollar loss, then check the plan's contract cap. AUDIT is the recorded 50% account base-fee coupon.

Coupon verification recorded on 13 October 2026. Code: AUDIT. Listed offer: 50% off all Goat Funded Futures account base purchase fees. Verification covers the code and advertised offer in Prop Firm Audit's current active coupon record.

Use the correct tick value

Goat Funded Futures' official instrument table publishes the following equity-index specifications.

ContractMinimum price movementDollar value per tick
ES0.25 index points$12.50
MES0.25 index points$1.25
NQ0.25 index points$5
MNQ0.25 index points$0.50

A 5-point move equals 20 ticks when the tick size is 0.25. Points and ticks must not be substituted for each other inside the risk calculation.

These are futures specifications within GFF's simulated program. They are separate from similarly named CFD instruments at Goat Funded Trader.

Calculate planned stop loss in dollars

The basic estimate is:

Planned price loss = stop distance in ticks × tick value × contracts.

For a hypothetical 20-tick stop:

PositionPlanned price loss before costs
One ES$250
One MES$25
Five MES$125
Ten MES$250
One NQ$100
One MNQ$10

This table compares size. It does not recommend a 20-tick stop or promise a fill at the requested level.

Trading commissions and a worse exit price can increase the realized loss. Reserve space for them inside your own risk budget.

Why micros help adjust exposure

If the strategy's invalidation point is fixed, micros allow smaller changes in dollar exposure without moving the stop simply to fit an e-mini contract.

Suppose the chosen price-risk budget is $75 at a 20-tick MES stop. Three contracts imply $75 before costs; two imply $50. If costs must fit inside the $75 total budget, three may be too many.

A micro contract is smaller, but a large group of micros can recreate or exceed e-mini exposure. Ten MES share approximately the same price exposure as one ES, while their total commissions can differ.

Check account limits separately

The allowed maximum is a ceiling, not a sizing recommendation. A position can fit the contract cap yet exceed the remaining equity room above the loss floor.

Before each order, record the exact contract month, stop distance, dollar risk, total open quantity and active account loss boundaries. Use the issued plan's limits for combined positions and any mixed mini/micro allocation.

Read the GFF contract-cap comparison for the different 50K plan limits and the commission guide for cost effects.

Calculate the AUDIT purchase fee

The official Flex specifications list a $218 regular reference fee for Flex $50K. With the recorded AUDIT 50% base-fee offer:

AccountRegular base feeCodeSavingCalculated base fee
Flex $50K$218AUDIT$109$109

Apply the reduction once. The coupon does not halve tick values, commissions or the contract cap.

Choose the account on Goat Funded Futures, enter AUDIT before payment and retain the configuration. The coupon page and firm review provide the complete offer context.
