Quick answer
A per-side fee must be counted on both the entry and exit of a completed futures trade. On Goat Funded Futures, commissions can reduce a gross profitable session below a net qualifying-day threshold. AUDIT halves the listed account base purchase fee; it does not halve transaction charges.
Coupon verification recorded on 13 October 2026. Code: AUDIT. Listed offer: 50% off all Goat Funded Futures account base purchase fees. Verification covers the code and advertised offer in Prop Firm Audit's current active coupon record.
Convert the published fee to a round trip
GFF's official instrument table lists ES and NQ at $2.88 per side, and MES and MNQ at $0.95 per side.
| Completed position | Entry fee | Exit fee | Round-trip fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| One ES | $2.88 | $2.88 | $5.76 |
| One MES | $0.95 | $0.95 | $1.90 |
| Ten MES | $9.50 | $9.50 | $19 |
Use the actual statement if a provider or specification changes. Partial entries and exits still need their charged quantities reconciled.
Equal exposure can produce different net costs
One ES and ten MES have approximately the same equity-index price exposure. They need not have the same total commission.
For an illustrative 8-tick favorable move:
| Position | Gross price profit | Round-trip fee | Net before other costs |
|---|---|---|---|
| One ES | $100 | $5.76 | $94.24 |
| Ten MES | $100 | $19 | $81 |
This comparison assumes identical price movement and no additional slippage or adjustments. Micros provide finer position increments, while trading many of them can cost more for equivalent exposure.
The micro versus mini guide explains the tick values and stop-risk calculation. Neither instrument is automatically preferable for every strategy.
Check the net qualifying-day threshold
The official EOD specifications describe a winning day using net profit of at least 0.2% of the starting balance. That is $100 on an EOD $50K account.
A single illustrative one-ES trade making $100 gross and paying $5.76 in round-trip fees leaves $94.24. If that is the entire day's net result, it falls below $100.
A 9-tick favorable move would produce $112.50 gross, or $106.74 after the same fee assumption. Other trades, adjustments and costs must still be included in the day's final result.
These examples explain reconciliation. They are not a reason to add a trade merely to hit a counter, and they assume the trade complies with holding-time and other program rules.
Measure the full day's costs
For ten completed one-ES round trips, the listed commission calculation is 10 × $5.76 = $57.60. Record that beside the gross daily price result.
If the platform's P&L field is already net of commission, do not subtract the $57.60 again. A clean ledger names each field as gross, commission, adjustments or net.
After reconciliation, compare the result with the selected plan's winning-day definition. Do not apply EOD's threshold to a different plan just because its account label is also $50K.
Account entry cost with AUDIT
EOD $50K has a published $138 regular base reference. The recorded AUDIT 50% offer gives a $69 calculated purchase fee, saving $69.
That saving is an account-budget item. It should not be added to trading profit or used to satisfy a net winning day.
Select the intended plan on Goat Funded Futures, enter AUDIT before paying and keep the receipt separate from trade statements. Read the coupon record and Goat Funded Futures review.
