Legion Evaluation Hold-Time Rules + Coupon Code COMPARE

Legion's detailed duration policy uses two different tests: evaluation trades must average more than two minutes, while every funded trade must last at least one minute. PFA's Verified code: COMPARE provides 5% off the eligible base purchase fee. Passing an average-duration test does not prove that every trade satisfies the funded minimum. Official sources checked: 7 October 2026. This guide explains how to keep the two clocks separate, with hypothetical trade logs and historical, conditional Two-Step purchase calculations.

The account stage determines the calculation

The dedicated minimum-duration policy explicitly separates an evaluation average from a funded per-trade minimum. It describes an evaluation average of more than two minutes, not exactly two minutes. For funded accounts, the wording is at least one minute on every individual trade.

StagePublished duration testWhat to measure
EvaluationAverage greater than 2 minutesSum of trade durations divided by trade count
FundedEach trade at least 1 minuteIndividual opening-to-closing duration

The same policy calls failure of the evaluation average a hard breach. For a funded duration violation it lists a first soft breach and a second hard breach with termination. Do not treat a first warning as a risk allowance or a reason to test the boundary.

The broader objectives page summarizes trading style using an average two-minute description. That short overview is less precise about stage than the dedicated article. Keep the detailed policy and the agreement issued for the purchased account together; resolve any conflict before trading.

An average is measured across the whole sample

Suppose an evaluation journal contains four completed trades lasting 75, 115, 140 and 210 seconds. Their combined duration is 540 seconds. Dividing by four gives 135 seconds, or two minutes and 15 seconds. This illustrative sample is above the stated average threshold even though some individual trades lasted less than two minutes.

Now replace the last duration with 150 seconds. The total becomes 480 seconds, divided by four equals 120 seconds, and the average is exactly two minutes. Under the dedicated article's strict greater-than wording, that is not enough.

Hypothetical sampleTotal secondsTradesAverageDuration screen
75, 115, 140, 2105404135 secondsAbove 2 minutes
75, 115, 140, 1504804120 secondsEquals boundary; insufficient
75, 115, 140, 1104404110 secondsBelow 2 minutes

These examples explain a calculation, not a recommendation to construct a trading pattern around it. A compliant duration does not establish that the strategy satisfies every rule, and a profitable trade does not erase an earlier violation.

Use seconds before rounding to minutes

A spreadsheet displaying only whole minutes can hide a result just below or exactly on the boundary. Keep full execution timestamps, compute elapsed seconds, and round only the explanatory display. A trade opened at 10:00:45 and closed at 10:02:30 lasted 105 seconds, even though the clock labels span two different minute numbers.

Use the actual fill times recorded by the platform. Order submission, first fill, final fill and order cancellation can be different events. The public duration article does not explain every partially filled or partially closed position. Ask how those records are counted rather than choosing whichever timestamp gives the largest average.

A good average can hide a funded violation

Consider a separate funded sample lasting 45, 90, 180 and 225 seconds. Its average is 135 seconds. The average looks strong, but the 45-second trade remains below the one-minute individual minimum. Adding a later long trade cannot change how long that first position was open.

A useful funded journal therefore adds a per-trade duration flag. An average-only cell is insufficient. Keep the account identifier and stage in the sheet header so an evaluation template is not accidentally reused after funding.

The Two-Step model guide separately describes evaluation and funded conditions. Meeting targets and qualifying days changes the account stage; it does not make every earlier operating assumption suitable for the new one.

Duration is only one part of execution planning

Closing late enough for a duration test does not automatically make a closure permitted at that time. A funded news restriction or weekend closure can create an independent requirement. See our funded news execution checklist and weekend position guide.

Before entering a trade near a restriction, consider whether the strategy can be managed within all applicable rules. Do not remove a protective stop or keep a deteriorating position merely to improve a duration statistic. If an execution creates an uncertain rule outcome, preserve its timestamps and contact official support. A risk-control order should not be confused with a guaranteed exemption.

The practical routine is to review the planned session first, then reconcile executed trades afterward. Save the raw history privately and investigate discrepancies while the sequence is still clear. Never alter timestamps or omit short trades from a compliance calculation.

Historical Two-Step fee examples after COMPARE

Price review on 12 October 2026 did not establish current public Two-Step $10K or $25K fees. The $69 and $169 rows are retained historical references, with conditional 5% arithmetic only; they are not newly verified payable totals. See the official website for the selected current quote.

The official objectives page lists these regular USD Two-Step evaluation fees. The PFA coupon record supplies COMPARE at 5%. The calculation is regular base fee multiplied by 0.95.

ModelSizeRegular feeCodeDiscountSavingsCalculated base fee
Two-Step$5,000$35.00COMPARE5%$1.75$33.25
Two-Step$10,000$69.00COMPARE5%$3.45$65.55
Two-Step$25,000$169.00COMPARE5%$8.45$160.55

These rows exclude extras, payment conversion and taxes. They do not price Fast Track activation or assume that a second promotion stacks. The coupon has no confirmed fixed expiry in PFA's active record, and these figures are calculations rather than an October 7 checkout transaction.

Apply the offer and retain the correct rule set

  1. Open Legion Funding and choose the exact account model and size.
  2. Check regional eligibility, duration rules and the agreement for both evaluation and funded stages.
  3. Enter COMPARE before payment.
  4. Verify the eligible 5% base reduction and the full order total.
  5. Save the receipt and account terms with the stage-specific journal.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

The dedicated duration article requires average trade duration greater than two minutes. Divide total elapsed time for the relevant trades by their count; an average of exactly two minutes is insufficient under that wording.
