Lucid Trading Commission Budget + Coupon Code AUDIT
Calculate Lucid futures commissions per side and round trip, compare equivalent micro exposure and budget trading frequency. AUDIT offers plan-specific savings.

Lucid’s published commission figures are per side, so an ordinary completed trade needs an entry charge and an exit charge. Multiply by contract quantity before comparing strategies or calculating net profit. Verified code: AUDIT provides 40% off eligible LucidDaily base fees and 30% off eligible LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDirect base fees. It does not reduce the trading commissions calculated below.

Convert the quoted rate into a completed-trade cost
The official approved-products and commission schedule labels its charge per contract per side. For equal entry and exit quantities at the same published rate:
Round-trip commission = per-side rate × 2 × contracts
| Product | Published per-side charge | One-contract round trip | Five-contract round trip |
|---|---|---|---|
| ES or NQ | $1.75 | $3.50 | $17.50 |
| MES or MNQ | $0.50 | $1.00 | $5.00 |
| CL | $2.00 | $4.00 | $20.00 |
| MCL | $0.50 | $1.00 | $5.00 |
| GC | $2.30 | $4.60 | $23.00 |
| MGC | $0.80 | $1.60 | $8.00 |
Amounts are USD. This is a selected-product calculation, not a replacement for the entire current schedule. Use the symbol actually traded and the rate applicable to the account. Any additional charge visible in the statement should be reconciled separately rather than silently folded into an invented rate.
Compare equal exposure rather than equal ticket count
One micro contract generally carries less underlying exposure than its related standard contract. Comparing the fee for one ES with the fee for one MES therefore answers a different question from comparing approximately equivalent exposure.
For the ordinary ten-to-one ES/MES relationship, ten MES round trips cost $10 at the published rates, while one ES round trip costs $3.50. The commission difference is $6.50 for that completed exposure comparison. This does not make ES automatically preferable: micros allow smaller position increments, and the appropriate risk size can matter more than the commission difference.
For example, someone who only wants the exposure of three MES cannot obtain that size by replacing the position with one ES. Saving a fee is not a sound reason to increase exposure beyond the intended risk. Compare the cost of the strategy you can actually trade, rather than the cost of a larger substitute.
Put trading frequency into the budget
A commission that looks small on one ticket becomes material across repeated entries. The following worksheet assumes identical completed trades, one contract each, no partial quantity changes and no additional fees.
| Completed round trips | ES at $3.50 each | MES at $1.00 each | MGC at $1.60 each |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | $17.50 | $5.00 | $8.00 |
| 20 | $70.00 | $20.00 | $32.00 |
| 50 | $175.00 | $50.00 | $80.00 |
These counts are illustrations, not recommendations or statements of permitted trading frequency. Lucid has separate conduct rules, including restrictions on simulated-fill exploitation. A commission budget never grants permission for a strategy that the firm prohibits.
A journal can report gross trading result, commissions, other posted charges and net result in separate columns. If the gross result is $90 and twenty one-contract ES round trips incur $70 in commission, the arithmetic leaves $20 before other adjustments. The account’s official reported net figure remains the value to reconcile against qualification objectives.
Partial exits need a quantity ledger
Suppose three contracts are opened and then closed through exits of one contract and two contracts. Counting three order tickets and multiplying by a flat round-trip rate would be wrong. The filled quantity was three contracts on entry and three on exit, so six contract-sides were charged.
For ES at the published $1.75 rate, that is $10.50. Opening two further contracts later would add two entry sides and eventually two more exit sides. The same position label on a chart may conceal several separately charged fills.
Record timestamp, symbol, side, filled quantity and commission from the actual statement. Reconcile by filled quantity rather than by the number of mouse clicks or the number of visible trade annotations. A cancelled unfilled order should not be counted as a completed trade in this worksheet.
Include execution uncertainty without inventing a fee
Commission and slippage are different cost categories. Commission follows the posted charging basis; slippage describes the difference between an expected price and an actual fill. A strategy can experience both, and an attractive simulated fill history does not guarantee equivalent future execution.
Keep any slippage stress test clearly labelled as your own assumption. For instance, comparing a planned $100 gross result with $10 of known commission and a hypothetical $15 execution allowance produces a $75 planning estimate. The $15 is not a Lucid fee or an observed result.
A personal stop budget should also leave room for transaction costs. If a loss threshold is nearby, an apparently flat trade before costs can still reduce account room after charges are booked. Use the platform’s current account values and the correct program’s rules rather than relying on a manually calculated gross result alone.
Keep purchase savings in a separate ledger
The official simulated-fee guide describes the evaluation fee structure. The AUDIT offer changes an eligible purchase charge; it does not create a commission credit or increase the allowed drawdown.
| Eligible purchase family | Listed AUDIT reduction | Base-fee calculation |
|---|---|---|
| LucidDaily | 40% | Current eligible regular fee × 0.60 |
| LucidPro, LucidFlex, LucidDirect | 30% | Current eligible regular fee × 0.70 |
| Trading commissions and separate services | No reduction assumed | Use their own published charge |
A complete current regular-fee matrix was not retrievable from the public selector during this check, so this article does not reuse older prices as current quotes. Do not extend the offer to another program or paid option without explicit eligibility. Public promotions and codes are not assumed to stack.

The official schedule labels the rates per side. Multiply by two and by filled contract quantity for a simple completed round trip.
At $1.75 per contract per side, one entry plus one exit totals $3.50, excluding any separately applicable adjustments.
At the cited rates, ten MES round trips total $10 while one ES totals $3.50. The appropriate position size and risk still matter.
