The5ers Futures resets its loss floor after a payout to 4% below the new post-withdrawal balance. This is a specific withdrawal rule; ordinary trading losses do not authorize resetting the floor yourself. The PFA futures coupon is AUDIT for 10% off the eligible base purchase fee. Coupon verified on 12 October 2026.
Code: AUDIT
Checked: 5 October 2026. This guide is about the risk calculation after a withdrawal, not the maximum request. See the The5ers Futures review, active AUDIT offer and payout-cap explanation.
Start with the actual account debit
The official withdrawal-reset FAQ describes the post-withdrawal balance as the new reference. Its worked example moves a $55,000 balance to $53,500 after a $1,500 withdrawal, then places the new floor at $51,360.
For planning, record three amounts separately: the account debit, cash received after the applicable share or charges, and the balance left to trade. Do not subtract a bank receipt when the account statement records a different gross debit.
| Illustrative account event | Amount USD |
|---|---|
| Balance before request | $54,000 |
| Assumed approved account debit | $1,000 |
| Balance after debit | $53,000 |
| Four-percent room on that balance | $2,120 |
| Calculated post-withdrawal floor | $50,880 |
This example illustrates the reset formula, not entitlement to a request. The account must satisfy the separate payout conditions first.
Why a lower floor does not mean more money is available
A withdrawal reduces the trading balance. The refreshed four-percent room is based on that smaller amount. In the example, the percentage remains four, but the dollar cushion is $2,120. It is not the original account size multiplied by four percent and added to whatever balance remains.
Nor does a lower loss floor create new profit. A trader who receives a payout has removed value from the account; the reset defines the permitted risk boundary for what remains. Budget cash outside the account separately from the next trading session's cushion.
Distinguish three events in your journal
Ordinary losing trade
A loss changes equity or balance. It is not a completed withdrawal. Do not recalculate a fresh four-percent floor after every red trade based on this payout policy.
Pending request
The amount may appear in a request screen before the account reflects the final debit. Avoid treating an anticipated post-withdrawal threshold as already active. Record status, amount and time, and use the actual dashboard risk value while the request is pending.
Posted payout
Reconcile the final debit, remaining balance and displayed new floor. If your calculation and the dashboard disagree, pause new risk while clarifying the discrepancy. A spreadsheet should help identify differences, not overrule the account system.
Price the evaluation separately
The official futures selector currently supplies these Day Trade and Swing base fees for $25K and $50K. PFA's AUDIT offer is applied once to those fees.
| Plan | Size | Regular price USD | Code | Discount | Savings USD | Final base fee USD |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Day Trade | $25K | $59.00 | AUDIT | 10% | $5.90 | $53.10 |
| Day Trade | $50K | $100.00 | AUDIT | 10% | $10.00 | $90.00 |
| Swing | $25K | $69.00 | AUDIT | 10% | $6.90 | $62.10 |
| Swing | $50K | $120.00 | AUDIT | 10% | $12.00 | $108.00 |
These are one-time entry calculations, excluding separately charged taxes or payment costs. The coupon does not discount the loss allowance or change a payout floor. Larger sizes discussed in other policies are not presented here as currently purchasable offers.
Check eligibility before running the reset example
The official request requirements and payout-cap policy address different checks. Account age, required performance and request ceilings must be satisfied before treating the illustrative debit as available.
Use the existing payout-readiness checklist for that first stage. This article adds the second stage: reconciling the risk allowance after the debit is posted.
Application and post-payout checklist
- Select the futures plan and size, keeping it separate from The5ers CFD products.
- Enter AUDIT and review the base-fee reduction before purchase.
- Save the account's loss and reward rules.
- When requesting a payout, record the intended gross debit separately from expected cash.
- After posting, calculate remaining balance multiplied by 0.96 for the published reset floor.
- Confirm the dashboard and reconsider order size using the remaining room.
Do not automatically maintain the previous position size simply because the account name is unchanged. Account labels can remain constant while the dollars available before a breach change.
