Calculate TradeifyFX MT5 round-trip commissions for forex, metals, energies and crypto, separate swaps from fees, and apply AUDIT 50% entry savings.

Quick answer
TradeifyFX's entry fee and MT5 trading costs are separate. The published schedule charges forex, metals and energies at $3 per lot per side, uses a notional percentage for crypto, and lists indices as commission-free. A coupon reduces the purchase fee; the trading journal still needs net results after execution costs.

Published commission rules by instrument class
The official pricing FAQ provides these cost units:
| Market | Published commission basis | Calculation to record |
|---|---|---|
| Forex | $3 per lot per side | Filled lots × $3 on each side |
| Metals | $3 per lot per side | Filled lots × $3 on each side |
| Energies | $3 per lot per side | Filled lots × $3 on each side |
| BTC and ETH | 0.04% of notional per side | Side's notional × 0.0004 |
| Indices | Commission-free | Record spread and any other applicable costs separately |
A per-side quote is not a round-trip quote. Using $3 as the complete cost of opening and closing one lot would understate the stated commission.
A forex round-trip example
Suppose an invented trade opens 0.40 lots and closes the entire amount. Opening commission is $1.20 and closing commission is another $1.20, giving $2.40 in total.
If gross trading profit is $18, the amount after these two commissions is $15.60 before swaps or any separate adjustments. If the platform's reported profit already includes commission, do not deduct $2.40 again.
For a group of 20 identical round trips, commission would total $48. This describes the cost of the hypothetical volume, not an expectation that those trades should be placed.
A journal can reconcile it with four columns: entry volume, exit volume, reported commission and net result. Partial exits may generate several history rows, so add the filled exit quantities rather than treating every row as a full original position.
Crypto percentage costs use notional, not account size
Consider a hypothetical BTC entry with $12,000 notional and a later exit with $12,600 notional:
| Side | Hypothetical notional | Calculation | Commission |
|---|---|---|---|
| Entry | $12,000 | $12,000 × 0.0004 | $4.80 |
| Exit | $12,600 | $12,600 × 0.0004 | $5.04 |
| Combined | Two separate sides | $4.80 + $5.04 | $9.84 |
Multiplying the account's nominal balance by 0.04% would use the wrong input. Multiplying entry notional by two would also miss the change in exit value in this illustration.
Use actual filled quantities and prices from the history for a real reconciliation. Account size, margin committed and trade notional answer different questions.
Where swaps and spreads fit
The pricing FAQ directs traders to each MT5 symbol's Specification for swaps. In Market Watch, open the selected symbol's specification and inspect the displayed terms before carrying a position.
Keep a dated record when comparing holding costs. A swap figure from one symbol should not be copied to another symbol or assumed to describe both long and short positions.
Spread is also separate from the commission schedule. A zero commission line does not establish a zero spread. When comparing two execution records, use the actual opening and closing prices, the reported fees and any overnight adjustment so that costs are counted once.
Account price after AUDIT
The same official schedule lists Daily $10K at $89 and Classic $5K at $55. Applying the site-listed 50% account fee reduction gives:
| Plan | Regular base fee | Code | Discount | Calculated final base fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Daily $10K | $89.00 | AUDIT | 50% | $44.50 |
| Classic $5K | $55.00 | AUDIT | 50% | $27.50 |
Select the account, enter AUDIT at checkout and apply it to the purchase before payment. Optional upgrades and trading costs have separate cost lines.

The published schedule lists indices as commission-free. Spreads and any applicable overnight costs still require separate consideration.
The pricing FAQ states 0.04% per side on notional volume for BTC and ETH. Entry and exit can have different notional values, so calculate each side separately.
