Alpha Capital requires EA approval before use, and its current permission is for trade-management assistance on eligible MT5 accounts. A checkout option alone is insufficient. If you want the feature on a Qualified Analyst account, plan the approval, enablement and actual permitted use during evaluation.
Verified codes: COMPARE50 gives 50% off the first purchase; COMPARE gives 30% off later purchases. Apply the one matching your eligibility. Current coupon terms. Official rules and regular-price data checked on 10 October 2026.

Start with the tool's actual behaviour
The official EA policy permits MT5 risk-management and trade-assistance tools. It excludes autonomous strategies and does not offer this functionality on cTrader, DX Trade, TradeLocker, Swap-Free or Alpha Direct accounts. Qualified accounts in the Focused Trader Group are also excluded.
For a practical first check, describe the workflow in plain language: who decides to enter, what event submits the order, what changes after entry, and what happens if the terminal restarts. A vendor calling software a manager does not resolve these questions. Neither does buying the source code turn independent automated decision-making into permitted assistance.
A useful description is specific: “I choose the trade and its direction; this tool calculates size and manages the selected stop.” A vague description such as “it helps my trading” leaves the reviewer unable to identify the relevant functions. Be accurate about every feature, including functions you intend to disable.
Approval, enablement and use are separate evidence
The policy requires selecting Enable EA at checkout, contacting support to complete enablement and submitting the EX5 for preapproval; MQ5 source may also be supplied when available. Qualified-stage enablement requires the feature to have been enabled and used in evaluation.
Our suggested record separates these events:
| Record | Evidence to retain | Mistake it helps prevent |
|---|---|---|
| Purchase configuration | Account ID, platform and EA option | Assuming a different account's setting carries over |
| Software review | File name, version, submitted functions and reply | Treating a vendor's assurance as firm approval |
| Feature enablement | Confirmation for the specific account | Treating an approval email as proof of technical activation |
| Evaluation use | Dated logs for the approved tool | Discovering the intended handover requirement only after passing |
| Qualified handover | New account ID and written confirmation | Automatically reusing an old setup without checking scope |
This is a recommended evidence checklist, not an extra set of published firm requirements. Keep private credentials out of a support submission. An executable or source file for review is different from a trading-account password, and support should not need unrelated account secrets to understand a tool.
Example: the timing problem after passing
Suppose a trader completes an evaluation manually and only then buys a trade manager for the Qualified account. The product might perform only permitted functions, but that does not establish the evaluation-use history required by the policy. The sensible next step is to describe the actual history to Alpha Capital and request account-specific guidance before installation or use.
Contrast that with a trader who selected the feature, obtained approval, used the reviewed version during evaluation and preserved the records. That trader has evidence for the handover discussion. It still remains important to confirm the new account's state instead of treating earlier approval as an unlimited permission covering every later account or software version.
Do not backdate logs or claim the feature was used when it was not. A clean record of a missing prerequisite is more useful than an inaccurate record that creates a separate compliance problem.
Version changes deserve their own check
Software can change after an ordinary update: a sizing utility may acquire automatic entries, a copier function or a new signal module. Maintain a short change log listing the approved version, installed version and changed behaviour. Ask whether the approval still covers a material change before enabling it on the account.
The stop-loss guidance permits virtual or hidden levels and recommends protective orders. A virtual stop depends on the tool's operation, so review its behaviour during disconnection and restart. A permitted feature can still create operational risk when its runtime assumptions fail.
Entry-fee comparison with the two codes
The current official account catalog lists a $177 Alpha Pro $25K 8% On-Demand base fee. The examples apply one code to that regular amount; they do not price an EA option or any other upgrade.
| Plan | Size | Regular price | Code | Discount | Savings | Final price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Alpha Pro 8% On-Demand, first purchase | $25,000 | $177.00 | COMPARE50 | 50% | $88.50 | $88.50 |
| Alpha Pro 8% On-Demand, later purchase | $25,000 | $177.00 | COMPARE | 30% | $53.10 | $123.90 |
- Choose the exact model, account size, platform and options.
- Enter COMPARE50 for an eligible first purchase or COMPARE for a later purchase.
- Apply the code and confirm the 50% or 30% base-fee reduction.
- Review the complete total and account terms before payment. A code does not approve software, create platform functionality or waive the handover conditions. Discounts are not combined with each other or automatically stacked with another campaign.
Before the first qualified trade
Confirm the account is eligible, identify the reviewed file and version, check approval and enablement evidence, and resolve any missing evaluation history. Then review the new account's risk settings separately. The Alpha Capital review and qualified lot-limit guide cover other constraints that tool approval cannot settle.
The useful outcome is a documented, permitted workflow that matches the account you actually have. Some links may be affiliate links; an approved tool and discounted fee do not guarantee a pass or performance fee.
