Rules in dollars
| Rule | Value on $25K |
|---|---|
| Phase 1 target | $2,500 (10%) |
| Phase 2 target | $1,250 (5%) |
| Overall loss | $2,500 (10%) static, floor at $22,500 |
| Daily loss | 5% of opening balance at 00:00 GMT+3 = $1,250 on day one |
| Minimum trading days | 3 per phase |
| Time limit | None; 30-day inactivity limit |
| Evaluation lot cap | None |
| FX leverage | 1:30 (metals 1:9, indices 1:10, oil 1:10) |
| Weekend holding | Allowed at every stage |
| News | Permitted, subject to the two-minute duration rule |
The Phase 1 ratio is 10% target against 10% loss, or 1.0, the most forgiving of any Alpha Capital phase.
Why Swing exists: news and weekend rules
| Rule | Swing | Pro / One / Direct (Qualified) |
|---|---|---|
| News execution | Allowed; a trade opened within 2 minutes before or after a release must last more than 2 minutes | No opening or closing 5 minutes either side, including pending, SL and TP |
| Weekend holding | Allowed, evaluation and Qualified | Pro and Direct: not allowed when Qualified; One: allowed |
The trade-off is leverage (1:30 rather than Pro's 1:100) and a Qualified lot cap half that of the standard models.
Static drawdown on a $25K
The overall floor stays at $22,500 for the life of the account, whether the balance is $25,000 or $28,000. Only the daily floor moves, from the opening balance each day. After a $1,000 gain, the next daily floor is $26,000 × 0.95 = $24,700, which is above the static floor, so the daily limit becomes the active constraint for profitable traders.
Because Swing uses the opening balance rather than equity, holding a floating winner through the reset does not raise the daily floor, unlike One and Direct. This is a meaningful advantage for weekend holds.
Qualified limits: lots and Max Risk
| Qualified rule | Value on $25K Swing |
|---|---|
| Maximum open lots | 5 combined (standard models: 10) |
| Max Risk Rule per asset | 3% = $750 combined losing exposure |
| Breach handling | First lot breach removes the performance fee; second can deactivate |
Five lots across a $25K account at 1:30 leverage is a real ceiling for multi-pair swing positions. Size each leg to keep combined losing exposure on any single asset under $750.
Payouts
| Payout rule | On-demand Swing |
|---|---|
| Minimum profit | 2% gross = $500 |
| Best day | ≤ 40% of total profit |
| Split | 80% |
| Static floor after payout | Unchanged at $22,500 |
A $500 best day needs $1,250 total profit. Because the overall floor is static, withdrawing all profit does not close a Swing account the way it can on a locked One account.
Swing $25K vs Pro 8% $25K vs One 10% $25K
| Metric | Swing | Pro 8% OD | One 10% OD |

| Overall loss | $2,500 static | $2,000 static | $1,500 trailing |
| Daily loss | 5% balance | 4% balance | 4% balance/equity |

| Qualified lot cap | 5 | 10 | 10 |
Swing costs $35 more than Pro 8% and $30 more than One with the first-purchase code. For that it buys the largest loss allowance, news execution and weekend holding on the Qualified account.
