Quick answer
Breakout's current funded-account FAQ says funded trading uses simulated capital with execution modeled on real liquidity data. That description matters when reviewing the product: nominal account size, account access and reward entitlement are different from depositing and owning money in a personal brokerage account.
Coupon code: COMPARE. PFA lists 5% off Breakout evaluation base fees. See the Breakout coupon page.
Official documentation reviewed: 15 October 2026. This is a documentation-based account review.
What the funded FAQ actually says
The official live-environment FAQ explicitly describes simulated capital. It says pricing, spreads, depth and fills are built to mirror live conditions using liquidity-provider data.
| Question | Meaning for the account review |
|---|---|
| What is nominal account size? | The stated starting size used by the program |
| What capital description does the FAQ use? | Simulated capital |
| What shapes modeled execution? | Real liquidity data, spread and order-book depth |
| Is a quote a guaranteed fill? | No |
| What determines a reward? | The funded agreement and account rules |
Marketing phrases about funded capital should be read together with this explicit account explanation. A trader can review the actual operating terms without assuming the account is a brokerage deposit.
Why nominal size is not a personal cash balance
A $100,000 account label identifies the size used in the program. It does not mean a trader can immediately withdraw $100,000 or treat it as personal spending money.
A useful purchase record keeps the evaluation fee, nominal size, active loss limits and permitted reward amount on separate lines. These quantities have different roles even when all are displayed in dollars.
The funded agreement also discusses nominal and notional funding, account credentials and reward terms. Read the issued agreement alongside the current FAQ so that the selected account's actual terms remain identifiable.
Liquidity affects execution even in simulation
Consider an invented buy request for 100 units. If the modeled available liquidity at the displayed ask covers only 40 units, the remaining quantity may need different available prices or remain subject to the order's execution instructions.
The weighted average of confirmed fills, not the first displayed quote, belongs in the position record. A chart line at the requested price does not prove that the full quantity executed there.
This is a practical limitation for strategies that depend on very precise fills. The official FAQ does not promise a fill at the last traded price regardless of order size.
When reviewing a trading record, separate the order's requested price, executed price, filled quantity, costs and resulting exposure. That makes execution assumptions visible before they are attributed to a strategy.
Account ownership and access remain part of the review
The funded agreement assigns responsibility for account monitoring and credentials to the trader. It prohibits handing account control to another person or controlling another funded trader's account.
For an account handover, retain the terms, credentials issuance record and account ID. After a platform or device change, reconcile the existing positions and orders before relying on a cached screen.
These are operational review points. They do not report an independently purchased account, personal payout or execution test.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
The current funded-account FAQ says funded accounts trade on simulated capital. It says execution uses real liquidity data to mirror live conditions, which is different from a personal live brokerage account.
No. Nominal account size defines the program's trading framework. Reward entitlement is governed by the funded terms; it is not ownership of the nominal starting balance.
Yes. The official funded FAQ describes order-book depth, spreads and slippage. If sufficient liquidity is unavailable at one level, execution can use other available levels.
The official current standard fee is $20. Applying PFA's listed COMPARE 5% reduction gives a calculated $19 base fee before separately listed charges or optional upgrades.
