Breakout Prop's non-crypto instruments can trade around the clock on its terminal even when the markets they track are outside their main sessions. The firm says a protected pricing model applies outside underlying hours, with potentially wider spreads and sharp moves when the underlying market reopens. A familiar index name does not make every external chart a matching price reference.

Identify the instrument before comparing prices
The official non-crypto asset guide lists XYZ100, S&P500, Crude Oil and Silver. These provide price exposure through Breakout Prop's instruments. They do not confer shares, a standardized futures contract or ownership of a physical commodity.
That distinction matters when reviewing a screenshot from another platform. An index reference, exchange-traded fund and futures contract can have different prices and trading arrangements even when they relate to the same broad market. Save the full symbol and venue beside any comparison instead of labeling both charts simply “S&P.”
The asset-differences guide also states that these instruments do not confer dividends, shareholder rights or physical delivery. Do not build those benefits into a holding decision.
Separate terminal access from underlying hours
The trading-hours FAQ says these assets are available on the Breakout Prop Terminal 24/7. It lists the main XYZ100 and S&P500 underlying session as 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern, Monday through Friday, with limited extended coverage where supported. Oil and silver have nearly continuous underlying activity, with reduced weekend activity.
Availability therefore answers whether the terminal can accept trading activity. It does not establish that all hours have equivalent spreads, reference data or execution conditions. A weekend quote needs its own context rather than an assumption carried over from a liquid weekday period.
For planning, record whether the underlying market is in its main session, an extended period or a closure. Leave holiday treatment and any unusual schedule change as explicit checks; the ordinary-hours description should not be used as a complete holiday calendar.
Understand what the protected-pricing warning does say
Breakout Prop's price-difference FAQ identifies Hyperliquid as the external market supplying these prices. It says differences from standard futures quotes and other services can become larger outside underlying hours. Wider spreads and sharp reopening moves are named risks.
The page does not publish a complete formula for the protected model, a guaranteed maximum deviation or a promise that an external price will converge on a chosen schedule. Do not invent one. A spread observed yesterday is useful history, not a contractual limit on tomorrow's spread.
If a difference looks unusual, compare synchronized observations and the correct instruments first. An old chart screenshot beside a current terminal quote is weak evidence of a pricing error because the timestamps and quoted sides may differ.
A quote-comparison worksheet
Use this as an editorial recordkeeping process, not a firm-required trading system:
| Field | What to record | Why it helps |
|---|---|---|
| Breakout Prop instrument | Full symbol and terminal | Identifies what was actually traded |
| Observation time | Timestamp and timezone | Makes the comparison simultaneous |
| Terminal quote | Bid, ask and displayed spread | Avoids relying on a chart midpoint |
| External reference | Symbol, venue and quote type | Exposes mismatched instruments |
| Session context | Main session, extended hours or closure | Adds pricing context |
| Account state | Open positions, orders and loss room | Connects a quote issue to actual exposure |
Keep original screenshots or logs. If asking support to investigate, include the order identifier and confirmed execution as well as the quoted price. An intended limit, a displayed quote and an executed fill are distinct observations.
A wider spread changes a simple cost comparison
Consider a hypothetical instrument quoted at 99.90 bid and 100.10 ask. Its spread is 0.20. If a later observation is 99.60 bid and 100.40 ask, the spread is 0.80, four times as wide. These are invented numbers, not Breakout Prop market quotes.
For a position of 50 units, the simple bid-to-ask difference would be 10 currency units in the first observation and 40 in the second. Commissions, financing, price movement and partial execution are outside that illustration. The example explains why identical position size does not imply identical entry-and-exit cost across sessions.
Do not treat the eventual reopening as a guaranteed opportunity. A sharp adjustment can reduce remaining account headroom before a planned exit behaves as expected. Review actual exposure and risk limits rather than increasing size to compensate for an unattractive spread.
Standard evaluation fees with COMPARE
The official pricing page lists these one-time USD base fees with the standard 80% trader-share package. They illustrate purchase cost independently of the non-crypto quote process.
| Plan | Account size | Regular price (USD) | Coupon code | Discount | Savings (USD) | Final price after discount (USD) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Step Classic | $10,000 | $85.00 | COMPARE | 5% | $4.25 | $80.75 |
| 1-Step Pro | $10,000 | $65.00 | COMPARE | 5% | $3.25 | $61.75 |
| 1-Step Turbo | $10,000 | $40.00 | COMPARE | 5% | $2.00 | $38.00 |
Final base fee is regular price multiplied by 0.95, conditional on the code being accepted for the selected purchase. The optional 90% share upgrade, taxes and separately displayed charges are outside these rows. No stacking or fixed expiry is assumed. These prices do not establish Spark pricing or rules.
Choose the exact standard plan and size, check its terms, enter COMPARE and review the entire order summary before payment. Read the current coupon terms, Breakout Prop review and separate leverage and position-limit guide.
